I have little experience with player housing in games, but I hope for our actual player housing in the next expansion that it will be setup like in Once Human.
That sounds pretty cool at this point.
What I never understand with the writing in these quests is stuff like why does Mama Keara get to be the one to own the apartments now when the player did 100% of the work to get the deed and she did nothing but moan and get beaten up? We get to rent an apartment for free from her after? How gracious! Is this some power trip of a writer that hates their landlord? A 608 ilvl Tauren warrior named "cantmilkthese" isn't going to come beat your landlord up in real life and make you the new owner, you know?

I never thought Blizzard would give me such catharsis, especially in regards to apartment living...
I have enjoyed spending time in my Lunarfall garrison since it came out as it is the most peaceful of areas to park a toon while considering what to do for the day. There are no random opposing faction pvper's jumping into the trade center to attack NPCs in the hope that players defend their capital which in turn closes shops for everyone you were just 'doing business' with. If this 'apartment building' has features or is capable of providing all the amenities we need, from bank/guild bank access, auction house, repairs, profession work areas, mail and even a look at the BMAH, like the garrison is, then I'd go for it!Upgrades to furniture and decorating would be nice to customize the space for each toon that makes it to that stage of earning this. I agree that it should all be in game earned, not a gold sink, that would be an instant abandon quest and never look back moment. The one thing I would want in the apartment is a stereo that let me play whatever assorted tunes I collected as I'd assume any housing in a goblin constructed area would have far too much of their themed in game music and sound effects making racket in the background. :)

Is...is this housing? Please tell me Blizz isn't planning THIS for housing. A small, ugly, already furnished room? And it looks like there's no portal phasing so anyone can walk in?If this is where you're going, Blizz, you'll lose a lot of RPers over this as well as casuals who like to build and furnish things.

This is pretty cool.And as always, it's clear some people WANT Blizzard to "screw up" player housing so they'll have something to scream about.Just like some of you will never stop with the pathetically childish "playing house dress up" comments.
Reading this gave me a cold feeling running up my spine, please, please can Blizzard let this be their lil jokey joke and don't give renting our real player housing. Please just let us buy it outright. I was so excited to own some sort of version of my own home even if it's just a bunch of pixels. For the love of Elune/An'she Blizz, your demographic is Gen X and younger, read the room D:
