I'm more curious why they chose a 2h sword, not many classes can use those and fewer still can be Trolls. A staff would've been nice... maybe this is hinting at Trolls will be paladins soon.
Wait - hang on. There's paladin-specific Belf heritage stuff? I really wish someone out there would compile everything you get from heritage quests, instead of just the armor, because now I'm nervous I missed a bunch of things lol ;;I know, for example, Worgen got that teleport toy, Draenei got a hearthstone, there's now this sword for Trolls... But I can only remember those because they're recent. Does anyone have a full list of EVERYTHING you get from the heritage lines, besides just the armor? WoWhead's article on it is outdated and doesn't list the other stuff, and all other lists with a quick Google search are the same :/
Players getting a night elf weapon on a class that can't use it was a bug, it is correct.
Why would a hunter need a 2h sword? I'm guessing for Survival spec only?
It's true that it's quite a shame that we don't unlock the sword regardless of the class and especially since we can see the sword appear in the wardrobe when we play other races and not being able to use it, at least the Zandalari trolls ...I would have liked to use it on other characters ^^'
You'd think the culmination of the Darkspear heritage quest would get you an actual spear, but it is still a cool looking weapon.
It's actually worse than just 3 classes out of 10 being able to use the appearance, it's 6 specs out of 31. Only 1 hunter spec and 2 warrior specs use two-handers.Swords are also some of the least troll-like weapons I can think of, so it makes even less sense.
Nice.
