It's a stupid oversight by Blizzard. PvP should NEVER grant any (even temporary) advantage in PvE.
Good Wowhead posted this, hopefully Blizz notices and changes it from Midnight Falls (March on Quel'Danas) to Crown of Cosmos (Voidspire).I really do not want to do PVP next week.
For those who wonder if 1600 is hard : - Play battleground blitz since it is easier to be carried by others- you can not lose under 1200 rating, if you have lost a match you just -0 rating - under 1500 rating wins give +96 rating, after that depending of your win ratio it's 36-18 rating gains - Do not be scared of being underskilled : there's a fact a lot of people from same skill level than you under 1800 bracket ! - It's a number game, that mean as long your winrate is above 45% your rating goes up ! ( i have 1290 honor level spamming blitz and i saw only 1 over maybe 9500 players that got under it and he only got 43% winrate, so yes even you can be above 45% winrate !)- If you have a friend that play healer or you are a healer with dps friends, bring it over ! it is way more fun and easy to carry games with friends ! and the most OP trick of all : GET FUN :D ! ranked solo battleground is like a Mythic+ where you need to interrupt and CC a NPC healer and you kill the ennemie team ^^

And don't even start, my Braindead Heroic Raiding Guild Leader now told me I do this via PvP THIS VERY UPCOMING RESET, or I'll get kicked and lose all of my super social online friends! Now I have no PvP Gear and can't forcechoke myself into hitting the Battleground Blitz queue, where people can carry me to 2.2k in record time while I suffocate on Jaffas! Thanks WOWHEAD! I do almost exclusively PVP and I do not understand this. But it's blizzard, neither do they. :shrug
