Item Level 441 BoA catchup gear has been added with the Weekly Reset. Turn excess Flightstones into alt gear!

I would say this item is probably 100% useless. Since 10.2 day one you can craft 447 enchanted whelpling gear. Obviously you can craft only 1 ring and there arent any trinkets, but my alts were able to craft 6-7 pieces just playing the campaign at Emerald Dream. You also get up to 6 sparks really fast now and you can craft 463 gear. Also doing campaign and hitting renown 20 (since we are talking about alts) you get 2x476 enchanted wyrm for free.
Unless you can target the item (trinkets and second ring) you end up spending many flightstones just to get 441 tier. It's kinda bad tbh.
…My main is 11 Renown and so is my primary alt. Both of whom I raid mythic with and are like 486 ilvl.

I see many complaining about the 1000 M+ score. Is that really such a problem for many to get?
100% a TIME problem for a lot of people to get.
Like many of those that count the time they've spent playing this game in decades, plural, I am no longer a college student with nothing but time on my hands to spend sitting around polishing up guild relations to find people to run regular raids and Mythics. I have a job, extra schooling, children, THEIR schooling, and a whole plethora of other things that restricts the time I have available to play this game to short windows that are highly likely to be interrupted.
It is impossible to run Mythics (or non-LFR raids) when you can't guarantee yourself more than twenty minutes of gameplay at a time. Even if you have people that you know that are running them. The rest of the game doesn't have that problem - outdoor content doesn't care if I have to stop and do something else. LFRs don't refuse to have me back if I have to bail on a wing. - literally no one there cares.
I'm good enough to run Mythics. I'm geared enough to run Mythics. I don't have TIME to run Mythics. Gating

behind running Mythics is garbage. It's especially garbage when you realize that the people with the biggest alt stables are probably the people like me, who don't have time to run Mythics, but have plenty of spurts of time to create and level new characters.
Ah yeah, so you have time to level a bunch of alts. You have time to write essays in the wowhead comment section.
But you don't have 2 hours to pug yourself to 1k mythic+ rating, which doesn't even have to be done in one go, but can be done in 20 minute increments.
Sounds totally like a game problem and not a you problem

Mythics aren't fun for me and farming alts is. That being said, I'm capped on Flightstones with nothing to buy with them. I may try to pug a couple M+ to get the rating, but it hardly seems worth it. I can run an alt through Emerald Dream and actually gear them from heirlooms in that 2 hours.
Repeating the Emerald Dream questline is less onerous to me than trying to find a non-fail PUG with no idea of how many runs at what difficulty it would take to get this 1K rating and then what? I take all my Flightstones and get 5 or so random pieces. What a waste of time!
I'd rather try to PUG the raid achievements for pets if I have to PUG something!
