Blizzard seems to be finally bringing tanking gear into play, with BoA items.

Latest additions are:
Weapon:
Bloodsoaked Skullforge Reaver As the heirloom version of Skullforge Reaver (sword main hand)

Cloak:
Ripped Sandstorm Cloak As the heirloom version of Sandstorm Cloak

Armor:
Burnished Breastplate of Might As the heirloom version of Breastplate of Might (plate chest)
Burnished Helm of Might As the heirloom version of Helm of Might (plate head)
Burnished Legplates of Might As the heirloom version of Legplates of Might (plate legs)
Burnished Pauldrons of Might As the heirloom version of Pauldrons of Might (plate shoulder)

Misc:
Burnished Dark Iron Ring As the heirloom version of Dark Iron Ring (ring)

Note about the ring: not sure if this is really going to be a tanking gear, as the Vanilla Dark Iron ring is an agility item, but there is also Heavy Dark Iron Ring which is actually a tanking item, but with the Heavy prefix, which is most probably the case.

"BEST" HEIRLOOM CLOAKS AND ENCHANTS

Physical DPS - Strength - Worn Stoneskin Gargoyle Cape
Death Knight, Paladin, Warrior

There are no Strength enchants, so Enchant Cloak - Stealth is the best available enchant for PvE, PvP, and questing, but can also be expensive or difficult to find (or both) since the formula requires exalted with Cenarion Expedition. Unfortunately, the next-greatest DPS enchant, Enchant Cloak - Lesser Agility, is vastly inferior. If you want a cheap alternative consider the defensive benefits of or Enchant Cloak - Superior Defense.

Physical DPS - Agility - Inherited Cape of the Black Baron
Druid, Hunter, Rogue, Shaman

The Enchant Cloak - Stealth enchant is the best available enchant for PvE, PvP, and questing, but can also be expensive or difficult to find (or both) since the formula requires exalted with Cenarion Expedition. Spellcasters - Ancient Bloodmoon Cloak

Currently there are zero cloak enchants that will increase your DPS. As a result, the following are your best options as a caster leveling via...

...questing, Enchant Cloak - Superior Defense. You will be taking more damage from physical attacks, on average, and it yields the largest damage reduction versus other available options as you are leveling. Best of all: It's cheap! The recipe is bought off Lorelae Wintersong, a vendor in Moonglade.
...PvP, , as you take greater magical damage in PvP than you do a PvE leveling environment. It is disproportionately good at lower levels, as well. Also: Cheap and learned from the trainer!
...random dungeon finder, Enchant Cloak - Subtlety, as it will limit your threat in a group where the tank has no idea where he is going, and thinks "cc" means "carbon copy."

Tanks - Ripped Sandstorm Cloak
Death Knight, Druid, Paladin, Warrior

If you're using a Tank cloak, odds are you are not looking to level via questing, though you may enjoy some PvP on the side. The following are your best optionsfor enchants as a tank...

...random dungeon finder, Enchant Cloak - Superior Defense is going to mitigate the most damage, is inexpensive, and readily available from most any enchanter. That said, Enchant Cloak - Stealth will benefit both your ability to generate threat and gives you a defensive bonus, if you have deep pockets.
...PvP, , as spellcasters can really dish out some pain, and the enchantment will be somewhat helpful against casters in dungeons. There is no "best" choice here, though, and what you use will depend heavily on your style of play, as the prior two suggestions would also be excellent for leveling in battlegrounds.

BOA Gear:
I have talked to a GM and found out the following from them...

Can not be transferred to ther Servers even though it is Binds to Battle.net Account
You can transfer it between the opposing, as long as it is the same Server
If you have multiple WOW accounts you can transfer them to another one of you Characters as long as it is the same Server

I wish since it was BOA you could move you BOA gear to another Server, the only was to do so is to have it on your Character and transfer them ($25.00 US) to the Server that you desire to have them on.

Transmog is based on the gold value of an item, so heirlooms cost a ridiculous amount to transmog. I had a helm that cost 350g if I wanted to transmog it.

So when a cloak gets ripped it becomes an heirloom? Good to know, I think I'll have my main go play tug-a-war using her Ruthless Gladiator's Cloak of Prowess now.

So my cloak says ingame:

"Equip: Experience gained from killing monsters and completing quests increased by 5%."

But I've just tested it, and that is NOT correct:
Mining a Saronite Vein in Scholozar Basin as a level 72 character (with Heirloom Helm, Chest and Shoulders, while rested) I get 5.740 exp. But if I equip this cloak and mine the exact same kind of Saronite Vein, I get 5.944 exp instead (204 exp more).

This heirloom, along with all other heirloom cloaks, should say "Equip: Experience gained is increased by 5%." instead.

...Unless herbing and mining is considered "killing", and veins and herbs are considered monsters, of course ^^

The stats on here are incorrect, unless 85 BoA stats are getting bumped after MoP releases. Which seems unlikely.

Should say the following at 85:

573 Armor
149 Strength
224 Stamina
113 Dodge
75 Hit

And of course +5% Experience.

Enchant Cloak - Superior Dodge is a good candidate for this cloak since dodge will scale very well at low levels, now that enchants scale backwards.
