Large Plots OverviewUnlocking Blueprints

병영 (1 레벨) is obtained when doing introductory Garrison quests.

By upgrading your Garrison to level 2, you unlock the remaining level 1 blueprints except for the 재활용 처리장 (1 레벨).

Level 2 Blueprints for Large buildings require you to reach level 100 or complete the 나그란드 Outpost quests.

Level 3 large blueprints are unlocked via a special achievement and hitting 100. These achievements are account-wide.

Blueprint Costs and Requirements

Level 1 Large blueprints are free as you upgrade to Garrison Tier 2.

Level 2 Large Blueprints cost from 레즐락 or 스파즈 볼트트위스트. They are free if you have 주둔지 건물 건축 종합 지침서, which you get on completing your Outpost quest chains.

Dwarven Bunker / War MillWhat is it good for?

Raiding - gives you one of your three bonus rolls per week for free, and gives you the chance to gear up faster with better quest rewards.

Followers - Work Orders give you items that increase follower item level, which unlock more missions

Transmog - allows you to collect armor scraps to build sets

What does it do?

드워프 참호 / 전쟁 준비실 레벨 1: Doubles the chance for your quest rewards to get a rare or epic Bonus Upgrade. Allows the collection of armor scraps from the orc clans of Draenor for armor transmogrification use (guard transmog).

드워프 참호 / 전쟁 준비실 레벨 2: Opens up work orders for follower weapons and armor in exchange for garrison resources. Also, new armor transmogrification items unlock (orc transmog).

드워프 참호 / 전쟁 준비실 레벨 3: Grants 1 of your 3 seals of tempered fate (raid bonus loot roll) at no cost each week. Also additional work orders can be queued up.

드워프 참호 / 전쟁 준비실 레벨 1: 스톰윈드 세트 and 오그리마 세트 are updated versions of what Stormwind and Orgrimmar guards wear. You can see it on the Lunarfall and Frostwall guards in your Garrison.

Leveling followers: it gives additional follower experience from quests and allows you to have more followers

Questing - gives you a Bodyguard

Garrison flavor - lets you change the race of your Garrison guards and unlocks additional banners.

What does it do?

병영 레벨 2: Allows a follower with the bodyguard trait to accompany you as a guardian in Draenor Zones.

There are three friendship levels, each takes 10k reputation.

Every kill in your level range increases bodyguard friendship by +10.

Your followers unlock an additional ability at Level 2.

Your followers gain a useful perk at Level 3 after you complete a personalized quest for them.

What does it do?

What is it good for?

Questing and Farming - it allows you to create a siege engine once per day at level 3, which can help with questing or blowing up mobs for level 100 dailies. Other inventions aid you in combat or can swiftly kill enemies like "햌 퐄곀" 대상 표시기.

Exploration - "하늘공포" 개인 배달 시스템 is particularly good for getting to hard-to-reach places due to the initial launch and subsequent glider.

World PvP - All of these items can provide an edge in places like Ashran, either due to their movement-enhancing abilities or the ability to summon an invention that can help DPS.

Fun - it allows you to make cool gadgets

What does it do?

끈끈이 수류탄 발사대: Launches a timed explosive at an enemy target, inflicting Fire damage after 5 sec. Does way more damage to enemies near the target. (10 Sec Cooldown)

로봇 싸움닭: Summon a Robo-Rooster to protect you.

공기압축식 강력 건틀릿: Fires a coiled chain at your target, inflicting Physical damage and pulling them to you. (2 Min Cooldown). Also a version that knocks enemies away, based on spec.

"하늘공포" 개인 배달 시스템: Launches you high into the air and deploys a mechanical glider. (5 Sec Cooldown) 2 charges.

노움 기계작업장 / 고블린 작업장 레벨 2

시험용 호토바이 or 시험용 기계박사의 붕붕이: Ride a Prototype Chopper with exploding ejector seat. This is an extremely fast vehicle.

"햌 퐄곀" 대상 표시기: Paint a target location, causing a powerful warhead to land there after 10 sec, dealing 500000 Fire damage to all enemies within 30 yards. (1 Hour Cooldown)

XD-57 "백발백중" 유도 로켓 조립 도구: Build a rocket capable of unstoppable flight that lasts for 1 min. (5 Sec Cooldown)

GG-117 초소형 로켓추진기: Changes your jump into a fiery leap. Deals Fire damage and knocks down enemies at the impact location. Lasts 10 min, 3 charges.

경비 포탑 배출기: Summon 3 Sentry Turrets that launch rockets at nearby enemies. (10 Min Cooldown)

Mount Collecting - allows you to capture and train special mounts. By questing and completing all the quests and associated achievements for the Stables, you can earn the following mounts: 길들인 빗송곳니 늑대, 길들인 은빛가죽 탈부크, 길들인 강물하마, 길들인 바위엄니 멧돼지, 길들인 초원발굽 엘레크, and 길들인 얼음발굽. The achievements from completing the quests which rewarded those mounts also reward mounts: 무장한 서리늑대 is a reward from 야수 관리자 and 무장한 서리멧돼지 is a reward from 숙련된 야수 관리자 (Horde) / 숙련된 야수 관리자 (Alliance).

Gathering Professions - allows you to stay mounted when gathering or interacting

Questing - increases your mounted speed at Level 3, also allows you to stay mounted while interacting with objects at level 2.

What does it do?

마구간 레벨 1: Enables the capture and training of special mounts on Draenor.

마구간 레벨 2: You may remain mounted while interacting with objects in outdoor Draenor zones.

마구간 레벨 3: Increases mount speed in Draenor by 20%.

숙련된 야수 관리자: Defeat all mount-in-training tagets in Nagrand with 세드의 검은 발톱, which reduces the speed of your mount-in-training by 25% and increases its damage taken by 25%.

Really nice guide.

For the barracks part
You could also mention that your bodyguard can be defeated in the outer world.
It may happen in places where mobs respawn so quick that your bodyguard get "stuck" in combat forever with each new mob or new wave of mobs incoming.

If your bodyguard is ever defeated, you get a one hour debuff indicating that he/she is recovering in your Garrison barracks (though sadly, if you go there to check on him/her, you will find the npc does not appear in your barracks - seeing him/her confined to bed would have been nice).

After that one hour buff has expired, you have to go back to your garrison if you want to hire him/her again as a bodyguard.

Nice guide, but i would like some more info on the gear works. Namely the tier 3, I want to know how the siege vehicles will work, is it Like the demo in nagrand? Thanks.

In regards to determining which large buildings you want, you can determine it by this:

If you are planning on contributing to, say your guild raiding group, then you'll want to chose an Armory and Mage Tower, so that as an individual you are more likely to get a more potent epic item with the Armory and have an open transport for you and your guildies to the waystones outside of Highmaul and Blackrock Foundry raids when they become active.

For PvE fun you'd maybe want to focus on the Barracks (especially if you want your own bodyguard); and for PvP fun you'd maybe want to focus on the Workshop, ESPECIALLY if you've always wanted to have your very own nuclear bomb in WoW.

As for just fun overall, you'd probably be more interested in the Stables, seeing as its possible to get eight mounts overall from it alone.

Other than that happy hunting and remember to chose what you would rather want than what the best overall choice other think it should be! (The building choices I've stated are merely just suggestions for people to consider in the long haul!)

I realize that you guys are busy, and you have a bunch of information here, which is good, but to me it's still hard to absorb it all. I think it would be better if things were structured like this:

Don't duplicate the content in the individual building guides. What's the point of doing that? When you need to fix things, you now have two different places that need fixing. Beyond that, it makes things more complicated for the readers.
Put the content for the individual buildings here inside tabs at the bottom, then delete the individual building guides. That way readers don't have to do so much vertical scrolling (as in this guide), yet don't have to go to separate web pages (as with the individual guides).
Please remove the section containing bullet points about the all the other guides. You have a garrison hub now. (Wonderful idea!) The bullet points about the other guides causes too much visual clutter and scrolling at the top, so get rid of it. Just leave a short paragraph about the hub. You can include link to individual guides in that paragraph, if you like. Or people can go to the hub and see the information about all of the other guides there.
Get rid of most of the pictures. They cause the page to load too slowly, require too much scrolling, and generate too much visual clutter. I don't need to see a bunch of pictures of someone using a rocket jumper.
Add an introductory section at the top of the guide that is something like coolguyry's comment. Take a step back and think about what you would want to tell a friend who is new garrisons. Write that in a paragraph near the top.
In the introductory section, include some information about the option to destroy your barracks so you could put something else there (or not building it in the first place, if that's an option). How do you do it? What are the ramifications?
Think about normal character progression when you write things. Talk about the barracks first because that's the first large building the player is going to have to think about.
Keep adding parenthetical information that relates garrison and building levels to the character progression. (If you say, "...when you upgrade your Garrison to level 2..." add "(when your character reaches 92)".) Otherwise it's too hard to keep track of when these events will occur.

Anyway, these are some ideas that would make the guide more useful, in my opinion, anyway. I think many of them would also apply to other guides.

I enjoyed the large buildings guide, especially because I love the idea of the cosmetic guard gear from the war mill! I can finally look the part without having to be a leather wearing class. A warrior with Orgrimmar guard gear is a dream come true!

Based on feedback and the addition of guides to each specific building, I’ve cleaned up and reformatted this guide a bit. It’s more of an overview to Large Buildings if you’re not sure what to choose and don’t want to be overwhelmed by information. I’ve kept some of the details, but the fullest in-depth summary can be found on the guides to each individual building, which are linked to this guide.

I’ve also made the basics more obvious in the Overview section at the top as well.
