Be aware that the prices can change. I'm assuming that because the brokers are all about capitalism that the prices are subject to the market changes of the Shadowlands and therefore the prices can change day to day. Unless I have some odd glitch where suddenly my Luminous Flux from Distributor Au'til is now 9g instead of 5g. And I checked, I bought some in case it was a typo but no, it cost 9g. The other items remained the same but you never know.

Buy this crafting item from vendors where you've maxed out your reputation. That'll lower the price of the item to 7g 20 silver instead of the current 9.

Wowhead lists Kevin Weaver in The Argent Stand in Zul'Drak to sell these for 4g 25s, so I went there to get it at low price.
But he actually sells it for 7g 20s with full Argent rep.

Thought I'd mention to save you a trip to Northrend.

Best buy is to get it at your faction capital if Exalted.

Wowhead now lists 4 other NPCs to sell it for 5g, but this is also incorrect.
E.g. Shimra sells them for 7g 20s on Exalted rep.

The standard price is 9g. With the exalted discount you get 7g 20s.
None of the vendors sell it more cheaply than that. The Wowhead prices that are lower than that are probably old data. For instance, this guy is listed as selling the flux for 5g. Nope. Just checked: still 7g 20s.

Any reason why WoWhead says it is sold by 489 NPCs but only show 400 split in 2 pages?
Also, none of them in the Shadowlands...

The Traveler's Tundra Mammoth mount now also sells most 9g Crafting Reagents for Shadowlands.

No Penumbra Thread though, for some reason.

Fenae sells Luminous Flux, when you're exalted with The Wild Hunt, at 7g20s.)

Leave the Heart of the Forest, via its east entrance / exit, then use those coordinates.
(You'll still be in the Heart of the Forest zone, but your world map must have changed from the tree to the outdoor Ardenweald map.)

To the right of Fenae, as an added bonus, is Oridor. Oridor sells Orboreal Shards, when you're exalted with The Wild Hunt, at 100g.
To your left, if you're pointed SE and positioned between those two, is a mailbox.

If you have a profession alt, exalted with The Wild Hunt, this - also a rested area, so with a quick logout - might be the place to leave it.
Ka-ching! (Legendary crafting in mind. 😎)

Another way to find them is to leave the Heart of the Forest, with your World Map on. As soon as it turns from the tree map into the outdoor map, turn left and head north. Have Tracking -> Townsfolk -> Mailbox on and you'll very soon see a mailbox. Fenae will be on your right, as you go towards it.

Have a Garrison? Supplymaster Eri sells for 7g 65.
garrisons don't matter anymore i guess because that vendor is not listed.

I'm now realizing blacksmithing is so screwed in vendor mat costs compared to tailoring and leatherworking.
LW uses barely any thread after leveling, and even when leveling the amount of thread used is pretty low.
Tailoring uses a little bit more, mostly just the 25 for the vestige.
But Blacksmithing? The 291 boots I had someone make cost me about 345 Luminous Flux (nearly 14 times the cost of tailoring's leggo's) on top of the 40 orboreal shards, so with the best discounts and personal farming it still cost roughly 6484g in vendor mats (~3-4000g for LW and 3-5180g for tailor)(some fluxuations depending on number of shards needed)
Or otherwise nearly 2500g spent in luminous flux alone for one item, where as the most the other professions will spend is 0 or 180 on thread.
