Tabard Vendors sell PvP honor tabards and Outland reputation ones.

Tabard vendors can also restore quest tabards like Tabard de bataille d'Arathor and Tabard trophée des Illidari violet, holiday tabards like Tabard des cieux estivaux, and achievement tabards like Couleurs du maître des traditions.

Users have reported that special tabards like Tabard du Concordat argenté, Tabard de l'Aube d'argent, and Tabard de flammes cannot be restored.

To buy back MoP and Cataclysm reputation tabards, you'll have to go to that faction's quartermaster.

Players who kept Tabard de compétition from many years ago can buy it on all characters at Garyle in Orgimmar and Lysea in Ironforge, according to comments.

Datamined Shadowlands Tabards

Tabard de l’Alliance / Tabard de la Horde can be purchased during the Exile's Reach starting area for . These become available from Intendante Richter / Approvisionneur Jin'hake during the quest Accumulation de fournitures / Accumulation de fournitures. Tabard des transcendés is likely a reward from the Kyrian Covenant. As this tabard has no reputation attached to it, it is likely to be a reward from the Kyrian exclusive feature, the Path of Ascension. Check our Kyrian Covenant Overview for more information.

Couleurs de l’Armée immortelle requires Exalted with Armée immortelle, the Maldraxxus faction. It is currently unknown if this is linked to the Necrolord Covenant.

Tabard de l’Hallali requires Exalted with Faë nocturnes, the Ardenweald faction. It is currently unknown if this is linked to the Night Fae Covenant.

Tabard de la cour des Moissonneurs requires Exalted with Cour des Moissonneurs, the Revendreth faction. It is currently unknown if this is linked to the Venthyr Covenant.

Five PvP tabards were datamined during the Shadowlands Beta Tabard du gladiateur impénitent, 9.0 PvP - PvP Reward - Tabard - 2, 9.0 PvP - PvP Reward - Tabard - 3, 9.0 PvP - PvP Reward - Tabard - 4 and 9.0 PvP - PvP Reward - Tabard - 5. Reputation can be acquired by winning battles and completing daily quests. The tabard costs 40 Recommandation de Tol Barad, which is several days of daily quests. It has the added benefit of teleporting you to the zone.

Tabard de Gilnéas/Tabard du cartel Baille-Fonds are tabards for the new playable races introduced in Cataclysm: goblins and worgen. They are available in Darnassus and Orgrimmar respectively from Seigneur Candren and Frizzo Villamar.

Tabard de Ramkahen requires Friendly with Ramkahen and is purchased from Forgeron Abasi. If you want to speed up the initial rep boost, choose the Ecusson de vaillance de Ramkahen reward from Évasion de la Cité perdue.

Tabard du clan des Marteaux-hardis/Tabard du clan Gueule-de-dragon requires Friendly with Clan Gueule-de-dragon/Clan Marteau-Hardi in Hautes-terres du Crépuscule.

Tabard du Cercle terrestre requires Friendly with Cercle terrestre and is purchasable from Approvisionneur Arok in the Étendues Chatoyantes. (Look directly south of the word “Hollow” on the map for the location of the NPC and then swim into the cave.) You can get the needed rep from most Cataclysm zones.

Tabard des Gardiens d'Hyjal requires Friendly with Gardiens d'Hyjal, extremely easy to acquire if you’ve done a few quests in Mont Hyjal.

To the annoyance of all your alts, you’ll need to complete most of Le Tréfonds to obtain the needed rep and proper phasing for Tabard de Therazane, purchased from D'lom le Collecteur. Therazane is needed for shoulder enchants.

Tabard de bataille d'Arathor/Tabard de bataille des Profanateurs requires not only exalted with Ligue d'Arathor/Profanateurs, but the completion of Prendre cinq bases. This quest does not require you to win the battle with five nodes capped, but simply to control them at one point.

Horde: Tabard sombrelance from Champion Uru'zin, Tabard d'Orgrimmar from Garde de pierre Nargol, Tabard de Lune-d'Argent from Magistrice Nizara, Tabard des Pitons-du-Tonnerre from Brave Tuho, and Tabard de Fossoyeuse from Capitaine Donald Adams.

Tabard de l'Aldor/Tabard des Clairvoyants are available at Exalted from the rival factions in Shattrath City: L'Aldor and Clairvoyants. If you switch factions for Héros de Shattrath, you will be unable to re-equip your tabard. There are several repeatable item turnins and major quest chains in Netherstorm/Shadowmoon Valley to boost rep.

Tabard de l'Expédition cénarienne requires Exalted with Expédition cénarienne and is purchased from Fedryen Vivelance The bulk of your rep will come from questing and running Le caveau de la Vapeur.

Tabard du Consortium requires Exalted with Consortium and is purchased from Karaaz and Paulsta'ats. An easy way to get rep is to grind Insigne de Zaxxis in Netherstorm for Un autre monceau d'éthériens.

Tabard du bastion de l'Honneur/Tabard de Thrallmar requires Exalted with Bastion de l'Honneur/Thrallmar. They are purchased from their respective quartermasters in Péninsule des Flammes infernales. The bulk of your reputation after questing will come from running Hellfire instances on heroic--Les salles Brisées, La Fournaise du sang. Remparts des Flammes infernales.

Tabard des gardiens du Temps requires Exalted with Gardiens du Temps and is purchased from Alurmi. Reputation can only be gained by running Contreforts de Hautebrande d’antan and Le Noir marécage.

Tabard kurenaï/Tabard de Mag'har requires Exalted with Kurenaï/Mag'har. These factions provide the major lore storylines for Nagrand, covering the path of the Broken and Thrall’s family. There’s numerous quests and turnins for Perles de guerre en obsidienne. Since most ogres in the zone award reputation, a twink grouped in party can hit Exalted.

Tabard de la Ville basse requires Exalted with Ville basse and is purchased from Nakodu. Quests and Auchindon instances (Cryptes Auchenaï, Les salles des Sethekk, Labyrinthe des Ombres, will award the bulk of your rep.

Tabard d'Ogri'la requires Exalted with Ogri'la and is purchased from Jho'nass for 10 Éclat apogide, an item that drops from numerous mobs and also is a quest reward. This is a slow rep grind with a limited amount of repeatable quests in Les Tranchantes.

Tabard de Sha'tar requires Exalted with Sha'tar and is purchased from Almaador. After doing the handful of quests, you’ll need to run Tempest Keep: The Botanica, The Arcatraz and The Mechanar for rep.

Tabard de la Garde-ciel requires Exalted with Garde-ciel sha'tari and is purchased from Grella. You can either do daily quests or slaughter a bunch of mobs in Skettis in Forêt de Terokkar at once to hit Exalted. Twinks can hit Exalted from this latter method.

Tabard de Sporeggar requires Exalted with Sporeggar and is purchased from Mycah for 10 Chapeluisant. After completing zone-wide quests, the easiest way to hit Exalted is to turn in Hibiscus sanguin, found in La Basse-tourbière, for the repeatable quest Rapportez-moi un jardinet !.

Tabard du Soleil brisé requires Exalted with Opération Soleil brisé and is purchased from Eldara Coursaurore. Reputation can be gained from doing numerous daily quests and running Terrasse des Magistères.

Clé de la prison de l'Ethereum has a chance to spawn a mob in Netherstorm that awards reputation with several BC factions: Cenarion Expedition, Consortium, Keepers of Time, Lower City, The Sha'tar, and Sporeggar. If you are a twink and grouped with a higher-level player that can defeat the mob, you will earn reputation too. Eventually, with enough keys and luck, you'll hit exalted!

The following tabards are relatively easy to acquire with minimal questing. However, if you’ve skipped quests, you can get the required rep from buying reputation commendation badges for 6 . These tabards allow you to gain reputation in only level 80 dungeons—no Cata dungeons count.

Tabard de la Croisade d'argent requires Friendly with Croisade d'argent and is purchased from Croisé vétéran Aliocha Segard. Because of the new quests in the Plaguelands awarding rep, it’s possible for a low-level to obtain the rep for this tabard, which is not in a phased area.

Tabard de la Lame d'ébène requires Friendly with Chevaliers de la Lame d'ébène and is purchasable from Duchesse des Voyées. While Death Knights start off at friendly, all players must complete a series of phased quests in La Couronne de glace to unlock the vendor.

Tabard du Kirin Tor requires Friendly with Kirin Tor and is purchased from Archimage Alvareaux. As all mages start off friendly with the Kirin Tor, any level mage can purchase and equip this tabard.

Tabard de l'Accord du Repos du ver requires Friendly with Accord du Repos du ver and is purchased from Cielstrasza.

Due to a naming glitch, it was possible at one point for low-level twinks to acquire some of these tabards. Sac de gemmes bleu was the name of an item that dropped from outdoor raid bosses (removed in Cataclysm) as well as the original name for Cache du Gardien-tellurique from The Occulus. This led to the unintended result of twinks looting bags containing Emblems of Triumph and Rênes de drake bleu by accident. The Emblems could be redeemed from Legacy Justice Quartermasters for reputation tokens, allowing twinks to reach friendly with various factions.

A new way for twinks to acquire these tabards came about in 4.1 with the Justice/Honor point conversion. Twinks could PvP, convert their honor into Points de justice, and then purchase various commendations from Legacy Justice Quartermasters for the low price of 16 Points de justice to increase their reputation by 250 a pop: Ecusson de mérite de la Croisade d'argent, Ecusson de mérite de la Lame d'ébène, Ecusson de mérite du Repos du ver, Ecusson de mérite du Kirin Tor.

Tabard tushui is sold by Adhérent Hanjun in Hurlevent by the portal to Pandaria. It grants reputation in all dungeons for Pandarens tushui when equipped.

Tabard huojin is sold by Disciple Jusi in Orgrimmar by the portal to Pandaria. It grants reputation in all dungeons for Pandarens huojin when equipped.

Tabard de duelliste is a reward from the PvP achievement Maître duelliste.

Quests

Tabard de la Main is a Draenei-only reward for completing Une prophétie à écrire, the culmination of completing a major quest series in Quêtes de Brume-Sang. Non-Draenei will not be able to progress as far in the quest chain. If you transfer to the Horde, your tabard will be lost and turned into a Guild Tabard but if you race-change and remain Alliance, you will keep this unique tabard.

Tabard des flammes estivales/Tabard des cieux estivaux are quest rewards from the Fête du Feu du solstice d'été quest Éclats d'Ahune. If you destroy one tabard, you will be able to obtain either version from Tabard Vendors in major cities.

Tabard de chevalier de sang is only available to Blood Elf Paladins for completing Les armes des ténèbres. It will turn into a Guild Tabard if you go Alliance. It used to be a reward for Blood Elves completing the quest to obtain a Invocation : destrier thalassien.

Upon completing La bataille du Guet cramoisi from an epic chain in Shadowmoon Valley, you receive a Offrande des Sha'tar that will randomly contain either Tabard trophée des Illidari violet or Tabard trophée des Illidari vert. If you don’t like the color you received, delete the tabard and then talk to one of the Tabard Vendors in a major city—they will give you the option of obtaining either type.

Tabard d'Orgrimmar is acquired by completing Morceaux d’armure, first available at your Fortin nain / Usine de guerre Niveau 1.

Tabard de Hurlevent is acquired by completing Morceaux d’armure, first available at your Fortin nain / Usine de guerre Niveau 1.

Tabard de tueur is available exclusively to Demon Hunters, after completing their Legion Order Hall Campaign. The tabard is sold by Falara Chantenuit at Le Marteau gangrené for .

Guild Tabard

Tabard de guilde is a plain vanity tabard that displays your guild logo and costs .

Tabard de guilde illustre requires Friendly to purchase and increases reputation gains by 50%. This tabard is BoA.

Tabard de guilde renommée, an epicly-embellished version of the plan Guild Tabard, requires Honored to purchase and increases reputation gains by 100%. This tabard is BoA.

Achievements

Couleurs du maître des traditions is a reward for completing both the pre- and post-Cataclysm versions of Maître des traditions.

Tabard de la force brute is a reward from Dévouement brutal, winning 300 arena matches in any bracket.

Tabard des hauts faits is a reward for acquiring Timbré de tabards, which this guide pretty much covers! Any level can acquire this.

Tabard de l'explorateur is a reward for completing Exploration du Norfendre—exploring all the zones across continents gives you an additional title. Low-levels can acquire this now by being flown around in multi-seat flying mounts.

Tabard de conquête/Tabard de conquête is a reward for completing Maître de l'île des Conquérants/Maître de l'île des Conquérants.

Tablier is a cooking apron available to players who have ground out Best Friend status with Nomi and completed Un cadeau pour le professeur, finishing Aujourd’hui, c’est moi le maître. This requires players to buy Cloche d'école de cuisine for 0 Marque de Patte de Fer (also requires Devenir un maître) and complete roughly a month of dailies for Nomi. The tabard is BoA and can also be purchased for 0 Marque de Patte de Fer.

Tabard de maître dresseur is a reward for completing the Dresseur des familles pet battle achievement which involves winning 10 PvP pet battles with a full team of level 25 pets of the same type for each type of pet (dragonkin, magic, critter, humanoid, etc.)

Argent Tournament

The following tabards used to be purchasable for 50 Sceau de champion from faction vendors at the Argent Tournament. With patch 4.0.3a, they are now purchasable for a few silver instead. The tabards are: Tabard sombrelance, Tabard de Darnassus, Tabard de l'Exodar, Tabard de Gnomeregan, Tabard de Forgefer, Tabard d'Orgrimmar, Tabard de Lune-d'Argent, Tabard de Hurlevent, Tabard des Pitons-du-Tonnerre, and Tabard de Fossoyeuse. Upon switching factions, the tabards will convert as well. These tabards became much easier to get in Cataclysm; they were also sold by faction quartermasters in major cities, which is covered above.

Completing quests for various city factions also gives rep towards Concordat argenté/Saccage-Soleil. At Exalted, you may purchase Tabard du Concordat argenté/Tabard saccage-soleil for 50 Sceau de champion.

Tabard de croisé d'argent costs 50 Sceau de champion and teleports you to the Argent Tournament grounds every 30 min. It's a great addition to your hearthstone.

Dungeons and Raids

Tabard de la Croisade écarlate drops from Maître d’armes Harlan in Scarlet Halls. If you have this tabard, then you can also get Tabard court de la Croisade écarlate from Intendante écarlate in the Darkmoon Island.

Tabard du porteur de Lumière is a reward from the Deuillelombre quest La rédemption du porteur de Lumière. It requires level 80 and has a use effect that creates a blinding golden glow. It is a BoE and can fetch hefty amounts on the AH.

Removed TabardsEvents

Tabard du vainqueur de l'affrontement was awarded to the player of each faction with the highest number of HKs on each server before the original honor system.

By PvPing during the 2008 Olympics, players received Tabard de compétition in the mail, win or lose.

Tabard de l'Aube d'argent was only available as a vendor reward during both the original Scourge invasion for Naxx 40 and the revamped one for the release of Wrath of the Lich King. It cannot be obtained from a vendor if you delete it. It counts for Tabard de l'Aube d'argent.

Tabard du protecteur appears quite similar except it has a use that creates a golden effect. It was a reward for participating in the Opening of the Dark Portal, a world event for the release of The Burning Crusade, and counts for Tabard du protecteur. However, you are able to acquire this item after deletion from a vendor.

Tabard de Theramore was a reward for Alliance players who completed Marécage d’Âprefange at 85 before Mists of Pandaria. Completing the scenario also awarded the special Feat of Strength La chute de Theramore. This tabard also summoned a special battle standard in rememberance.

TCG Redemption

The following tabards were available from redeeming UDE points from the Trading Card Game, and while they have been discontinued, there are always people selling codes although the prices have gotten higher over time. Any level can equip these. They are: Tabard de la brillance, Tabard de givre, Tabard de la fureur, Tabard de la nature, Tabard des Arcanes, Tabard du défenseur, and Tabard du Vide.

Tabard de flammes is still available from the Landro Longshot loot card and is more reasonably priced than the rest.

TCG tabards are unable to be replaced by Tabard Vendors if you delete them, so be careful.

The revamped Recruit a Friend program added a new tabard, Tabard d’explorateur renommé. This tabard is obtained if a friend maintains their subscription for 7 months. I really hope that the retired tabards like the Theramore one or the Argent Dawn one and those never available to players (B.O.O.M tabard, Ulduar tabard...) will one day be put into play.

Another great 1,000 foot view of a collectors achievement. Its nice that most of the tabards are listed first, followed by the explination on how to get them, or the source itself. This makes it very easy to run down the list.

This is a good place to start for people looking to get the achievement. Yet the tool that will help most people out the most is a macro that has been floating around which will tell you which tabards you have already equipped for the achievement. With over 70 in game tabards, and no tracking system on the achievment itself, this ingame macro becomes rather invaluable.

Over my years of tabard collecting I keep returning to the addon 'Tabard Addict' plus this guide! The addon has a Suggestions tab which points you towards some pretty easy tabards to grab based on level, exalted reputations, etc... Plus includes wowhead links to all the tabards.

About a month ago, I opened a ticket asking if I could get Tabard de l'Aube d'argent restored to me. The friendly GM verified that I had the Feat of Strength, and simply mailed me a new one. Don't know if this is a recent change or not, but I thought I'd let people know who deleted it back in the day and now wish they still had it...

Theramore Tabard is still obtainable. It's sold by Zidormi, standing by the bridge outside Theremore for 1g. She also sells the mini mana bomb Horde toy.

Just a head's up (and this is a great piece by the way) the Wildhammer and Dragonmaw logos need to be switched as Dragonmaw is the Horde faction and Wildhammer is the Alliance faction. Other than that, perfect.

Hello everyone...

I just learned something the hard way... I was happy to see that all tabards were now in the transmog wardrobe system... I had 66 tabards in my bank and void storage...

Since I'm not very well versed in the transmog system (never transmogged anything in fact...), I thought that having them in the wardrobe was about the same thing as the toy box. So, I deleted them all to regain the space, thinking it would function pretty much like the toy box if I ever need one for later use... but it is not the case... If the tabard have a useful function like the Teleport to the Argent Tournament grounds found on the Tabard de croisé d'argent , you'll lose the property if the tabard is deleted. I thought that the transmog would transfer the appearance AND the utilities associated with that tabard. But it's not...

In fact, I'm now wondering... especially for the future tabards I'll be getting... There is sometimes some extra reputation points associated with wearing a faction tabard (faction championning). Is this function transferred by the transmog system or do I still need to really wear the tabard ?

The Bloodknight paladin tabard is available to BOTH horde and Alliance paladins. Alliance players get the Weapons of Darkness(?) quest inside Stormwind Cathedral.
After quest completion, Alliance players may travel to Ironforge (Yes!) and purchase the Tabard from the vendor.

I have 3 Alliance paladins and 1 Bloodelf.equipped with it.

Looking through, the only insanely useful tabard are the two Tol Barad tabards, which every four hours will take you to your base in TB -- steps from the SW/Org portal. Faster to get through than new Dalaran, even.
