Before you start setting waypoints using the coords from these maps, I recommend clicking on each one to see if the coordinates there are any different. Some pins in this guide are way off where they should be.

Note the one in the Veiled Stair is actually inside the cave. The cave is the one where you finish up the scenario with Vol'jin. Circle around to the back of the round chamber and the scroll is back there near a mob who is channeling some sort of spell. He did not aggro when I dropped stealth. Some of the mobs will aggro, but you don't have to clear them all. One I attacked and he kept walking away never aggroing.

If you've stacked up a bunch of scrolls through the mail, and want to turn them in without watching the movies, run out of the Seat of Knowledge to the Vale, then back in. Each time you do this you'll get another Lorewalker Cho that will allow you to turn in a quest. Kinda funny having a bunch of Cho's telling stories.

This is why I love Wowhead! I kept looking for Lorewalker quests to reach exalted, but the only quest I could find was a daily archeology quest. My archeology is low (I hate that profession; it just feels like Blizzard is leading me around by the nose on an unscientific wild goose chase for grey crap), so I was stuck on 0 Lorewalker reputation. Now that I know their faction is based on exploration/monument discovery AFTER WHICH a quest unlocks, the reputation journey is much clearer. Thanks, fellow wowheaders!

It's great to note that whenever you're turning all these quest items into Lorewalker Cho that you can skip his "story time" by walking in and out of the building.

It'll save you a bunch of time if you're not into the lore! (But unfortunately I am into it..)

It was unclear to me, so I thought it might also be to others... just FYI the Isle of Thunder achievements aren't necessary in order to get the flying disc.

Remember to use the Grand Commendation of the Lorewalkers at revered... i actually forgot to and had to do Dark Heart of Mogu and Thunder Rumble achievements to hit exalted... :(

I did all the achievements, but forgot to buy the commendation at revered, and now im only revered at 21000/2040. Wtf should i do?

You cannot get exalted through the 8 scroll achievements alone. I ended with 17160/21000. You will need to do the 3 also that are on Isle of Thunder.

To get to the Isle of Thunder you will need to get portalled to it from the Shadow-Pan Garrison in Townlong Steppes, you cannot fly directly to it or you'll be pushed back by an invisible wall whilst inflicted with fatigue until you turn back. You will need to speak to either Veressa Windrunner (alliance) or Scout Captain Elsia (horde) to initiate entry to the island.

Note: You cannot fly on the Isle of Thunder.

A fantastic way to complete this achievement is by downloading the Lorewalkers Helper addon. It inputs all the (accurate) waypoints for you. It inputs any waypoints that you currently have not found. That way you don't have to backtrack to see which scroll is which.

For those who use the HandyNotes addon with its Lorewalkers plugin, some of the points are mislabeled and are not the correct numbers, but they still have an item you need at that particular point. Just make sure that you obtain the 6th Emperor's Burden item in front of the steps leading into the main building at The Temple of the White Tiger in Kun-Lai Summit (coords: 67.8, 48.5), as it is not shown on your map.

As others have mentioned, get the grand commendation from the quartermaster when you hit revered (she's to the left of Loremaster next to a tiger), especially if you have alts who will be doing archaeology. I guess they could cherry pick certain monuments and wouldn't have to complete as many stories to get exalted and get the arch goodies.

I followed this guide to get all the scrolls, filled up my quest log, and headed to where lorewalker cho is supposed to be, and he's not there.
I can't turn in these quests and I'm stuck at revered.

If you're missing the monument from the Summer Fields in Vale of Eternal Blossoms, just speak to Zidormi (outside the Seat of Knowledge) to go back to the past.
The lore object for the The Seven Burdens of Shaohao should be there (refer to Vale of Eternal Blossoms map of the above guide).

BFA 8.3 update, if you plan to read the scrolls, which I did. These are all of them as far as I know. It'll take longer with my more detailed /way (since they won't fit in macros). Use these if you're into reading the lore of the land. They're grouped by achievement, not area.

There are 13 achievements. One of them, Legend of the Brewfathers, doesn't give a quest and is a bit of a weird one. For the main 12 achievements, the interaction objects will glow blue if you haven't read them yet.

Your base reputation gain should be more than enough to reach Exalted if you complete all 13 objectives: (1920+2850) * 12 + 1920 = 59160 > 42000. I bought Grand Commendation of the Lorewalkers at Revered out of paranoia, but it wasn't necessary. If you think you're not getting as much reputation, buy that rep upgrade item at Revered. These quests are per-character.

If you read the stories, it'll take a few hours. The Seven Burdens of Shaohao is more chronological than the rest.

To do the points in Vale of Eternal Blossoms and complete any of the achievement quests, you'll need to be phased in the old Vale. Speak to Zidormi to go to the past. The quests will come through your mail every time you complete an achievement. It's easier to do them all at the end.

To get to the Isle of Thunder (3 self-contained achievements), you'll need to start (and optionally complete) a short quest that'll make a portal available to you. The quest starts next to where the portal should be.

Here are the BFA 8.3 macros split by region. 10 macros in total, including 3 weird entrances. 13 achievements in total, 12 of them mailing you quests when you complete them.

Complete the achievements and you get Revered. Then complete the 12 quests to get Exalted.

No need for extra rep bonuses. Fly around to read all the lore objects, start the quests mailed to your character, then complete all of them at Lorewalker Cho.

These will give you more than enough base rep to reach Exalted. Each achievement gives 1920 rep and each quest gives 2850. Exalted needs 42,000. More than enough. If you're gaining less rep, buy the Grand Commendation of the Lorewalkers at Revered to double your rep gains for the second half of your journey.

The Isle of Thunder markers will look weird on the Pandaria map. Once you take the Isle of Thunder portal, it should be straightforward. The portal needs to be unlocked through a quest started where the portals should be.

Remember to be in the correct phase in Vale of Eternal Blossoms (speak to Zidormi), or you won't be able to find the objects or complete any quests.

The shelves in Mogu'shan Palace will be filled with the pages you collect, so you can read them later. You might need to complete the (trivial) Your Private Collection from Lorewalker Cho to unlock them.

Set the TomTom markers to disappear at 5yd or you might get lost.
With the exception of the 3 statues for Legend of the Brewfathers (which doesn't trigger a quest), all the objects are scrolls that glow blue if you didn't collect them. The glow will make them easier to spot from a distance.

As someone who bought the Grand Commendation of the Lorewalkers back in Pandaria (and therefor getting a rep boost for all of them), doing all these achievements brought me to 17400/21000 revered. This was on a non-human character and without the darkmoon faire or any other rep-buffs.
The first quest turned in at Lorewalker Cho brought me to exalted.

You don't need to complete Your Private Collection in order to turn these in, but turning in the related lore-quests take forever since you need to listen to Cho talk before you can turn in the next.

As for the spots on Isle of Thunder: Sunreaver Beacon is accountshared and might make you able to bypass the questline to get there

Fun story : Lorewalker Cho talks forEVER. If you have all of the quests ready in your log to turn in and you just want your disc, talk to Cho and start one of his stories. He will give you a debuff called "Storytime". Leave the building, hop on your flying mount and fly about 20 yards away until the "Storytime" debuff drops off. You can then re-enter the room and immediately complete the next quest. This probably saved me 20 minutes of Cho talking and also meant that about 7 Chos were talking to me at one time on top of one another. Attached link to screenshot.

I have just done this on my Timerunner. She collected all the scrolls except Isle of Thunder because that is bugged and I can't complete the starting scenario. Nevertheless I hit exalted when I handed in my last quest. However I haven't received any rewards. I did this to get the mount. It hasn't appeared in my mount list, nor did she get any mail from Lorewalker Cho. How do I get the rewards?

WRONG!

In order to gain Exalted you must purchase the reputation scroll from Tan Shin Tiao when you first reach revered. I didn't and came up 2,000 rep points short.

What is it with people? Why the "F" does everyone think they are being helpful by copy/pasting the same old waypoints over and over again?

Marco? Forget them. Just use /ttpaste. You can copy all the waypoints then paste them to TomTom. Simple

To be mentioned you cannot get exalted with 85lvl alt. You also cannot get quests done from missive scrolls, there is nowhere mentioned you need to be lvl90 to be able to accept em.

Got all the achis, but cannot accept the qs. Time was wasted.

Also repu is now 11736/12000 so cannot buy 50% repu boost either.

This still works the same in TWW leading into Midnight. I just did it today, 1/2/2026, so I could get all of the rep-gated Lorewalking decor.

Just pick one of the newer comments that lists all the updated coords, and it should work. There's also a good map on reddit that combines all the zone maps in one, and lays out a master flight path that will take you through all the zones most efficiently. I used it in combination with dezemond's coordinates listed here which match up with the map/flight path on reddit perfectly, even better than the coords on reddit itself. It even notes when you should leave one zone, dip into another, then double back. Just note a few of the coords that still have the :Pandria in them which won't work, so make sure to remove that.

Overall I started from Neutral 0 and had Exalted in like 30-40min. Using a druid and with the new Skyriding makes it super fast. As long as you get the commendation ASAP upon hitting revered you'll even hit Exalted while still having a few extra scroll quests left.
