Blackfathom Deeps Overview in World of Warcraft: Forever
Situated along the Zoram Strand of Ashenvale, Blackfathom Deeps was once a glorious temple dedicated to the night elves' moon-goddess, Elune. However, the great Sundering shattered the temple, sinking it beneath the waves of the Veiled Sea. There it remained untouched - until, drawn by its ancient power, the naga and satyr emerged to plumb its secrets. Legends hold that the ancient beast, Aku'mai, has taken up residence within the temple's ruins. Aku'mai, a favored pet of the primordial Old Gods, has preyed upon the area ever since. Drawn to Aku'mai's presence, the cult known as the Twilight's Hammer has also come to bask in the Old Gods' evil presence.
The recommended level for Blackfathom Deeps is between 24 and 32. In-game players usually refer to Blackfathom Deeps as "BFD."

Blackfathom Deeps is located in

. It is accessed by a stair-lined shaft that requires players to swim through an underwater entrance.

Located at Zoram Strand in Ashenvale, Blackfathom Deeps can be reached by
Alliance
by flying to Astranaar and heading northwest along the main path.
Horde
players can fly to Zorem'gar Outpost in Zoram Strand, and then head north to the instance.
As with many World of Warcraft: Forever Dungeons, wiping (the entire group dying) in Blackfathom Deeps can be a frustrating time.
Ideally, if the entire group is not dead, you should be able to get a rez (resurrection). This is a spell someone casts on you to bring your character back to life with a small amount of health and mana. Priests and Shamans learn this early; Paladins need to complete a quest to learn resurrection and may not have it. Druids only have an in-combat resurrection spell and are unlikely to train it before Blackfathom Deeps.
If you can't get a rez, click to release your spirit, then run back to the dungeon from the Spirit Healer (marked on the map below) as a ghost. You collect your body when you enter the instance.

Completing Dungeon Quests in World of Warcraft: Forever is a great way to gain some extra experience and gear. You will find that you need to do a bit of running around in order to pick up some dungeon quests. Check the rewards and see if they are worth it for you.
The quests below include where to collect them, any prerequisites you need to complete first, and what you need to do inside or around Blackfathom Deeps.

Noteworthy Blackfathom Deeps Trash Mobs in World of Warcraft: Forever
Despite BFD being one of the longer lower-level dungeons, there are no noteworthy trash mobs that deserve special recognition. As with all dungeon runs, simply make sure to pull slowly and methodically, CC extra trash mobs in larger packs, and keep an eye on the healer's mana.
Speaking of the healer's mana, the

s have quite nasty

ability that should be interrupted. You will encounter these mobs quite frequently following the first 2 bosses.
Blackfathom Deeps Bosses in World of Warcraft: Forever
Strategy

is a simple tank and spank with a catch - the boss has a tremendous amount of armor and takes significantly reduced damage. Every so often, he will cast his primary ability, so make sure to stay spread out. This is a simple encounter with very little explanation required.

patrols the area with 2 other Naga. Make sure to clear out the cave before pulling her and her 2 bodyguards. Make sure to CC at least one of the bodyguards before engaging her. Focus the add down and switch to Sarevess.
Note: the entrance to Sarevess' cave is hidden to the right side of Ghamoo-ra's room and requires your group to swim underwater to enter.

is a straightforward encounter with a small twist - his room is packed with Murlocs. While the fight with Geli requires no explanation, you must be very careful when pulling the adds around the room prior to pulling the boss. Gelihast has a nasty net ability which can leave your tank in an awkward position to subsequently pull additional mobs, so it is crucial that you clear his room first before you pull him. Once he's dead, click on the altar behind him for a small buff.

is not a particularly dangerous boss, although his sleep ability may catch your healer off guard. Make sure to keep the tank topped off in the event the healer is slept, and have all hybrid classes heal the tank if such an event happens.

: The Fire of Aku'mai event is a small event after Lord Kelris that is required to open the door to the final boss of BFD, Aku'Mai. At the base of the Azshara statue where Kelris channels his magic, there are four braziers positioned in each corner of the statue's pedestal. Once Kelris is dead and the room is clear, have your tank click on one brazier, activating a single wave of the event. Each wave spawns a series of mobs that need to be killed.
If you're facing the braziers from the corpse of Kelris, then each brazier will spawn the following mobs:

The turtle wave is the most difficult. The turtles deal heavy damage, and an off-tank or ranged class that can kite should pick one of them up; otherwise, your tank may die. Hunter/Warlock pets and Rogue

are very useful here. All 4 braziers/waves must be conquered before the door to Aku'Mai's lair opens.

is an optional loot pinata with no real abilities. The only thing you should be mindful of is your breath meter while underwater. Remember, in Classic WoW, the breath meter lasts far less time.

is a tank and spank with massive single-target damage due to his frenzy ability. Make sure to stay away from his poison cloud so the healer can focus heals on the tank. Hybrid classes should offer healing assistance here if possible, and the tank should use a health pot if he has one. Overall, this is a very simple fight.
If you happen to be slightly underleveled, you can quite easily kite the boss by slowing the boss with abilities like
