If you are still leveling fishing, even starting from scratch, fishing skillups start very quickly, but they start to slow way down somewhere around 250-300 or so, in my experience. Always keep fishing bait and usable tools/items on hand to give yourself a boost, and stick with it. You'll get there eventually!

This guide is dedicated to all the achievements related to the Fishing profession. This is not a guide on how to level fishing or its inner workings - to see what's new in Legion Fishing, check this guide! As for achievements, from 25 Fische to Versierter Angler, I'm here to help you through it!

If you see that means that achievement is part of the Fishing Profession meta Achievement Versierter Angler. Keep an eye out for them!

Synit's commentlushas's commentOceanKobe213

Okay guys, I did the math. Since you need 42k reputation to become best friends with Nat, you can assume that the math is 42,000/(660 x 3) each fish gives 660 rep (if you're in a guild with 10% rep and not a human). So the math says 21.212121… days so 22 days if you consistently get all three fish every day except for the 22nd day where you can get one to be best friends because each fish gives .333… of a day, if you think about it. You'll be already exalted with the anglers if you do the dailies as well, so don't worry about that. If you are a human and in a 10% rep guild, then it will take you 42,000/(720 x 3) which is 19.4 days which is 20 days of farming all three fish, but on the 20th day, you only need to farm 2 of the 3 fish to get best friend. Finally, if you're not in a guild and you're not a human (I don't know why you wouldn't just join a guild for the rep but whatever…) then it'll take you 23.33333 days of consistent 3 fish hand ins but on the 24th day, you only have to hand in 1 fish.

So here is the conclusion:

Not Human, Not in a guild with 10% rep: 24 days (on the 24th day, you only need to catch 1 of the three fish)
Human, Not in a guild with 10% rep / Not human, In a guild with 10% : 22 days ( On the 22nd day you only need to catch 1 of the three fish)
Human, in a guild with 10% rep : 20 days (20th day, you need to catch 2 fish at least in order to ding Best Friend)

Hope this was helpful.

I think you should clarify Mr.Pinchy achievement. The achievement is specifically granted when you get the box that has the pet, so it's the BOX and not Mr. Pinchy that make the achievement.

Kommentar von 1538779

I got my sea turtle achievement from tossing a Lunarfall Carp into the fishing pond in my garrison - after killing the enemy, he dropped the turtle. Much less time consuming way to get that achievement (or maybe I got lucky because it only took 4 or 5 carps).

Thanks for making this guide - it's a great resource!
