The fun thing about this quest is that you get a free EPIC upgrade, and learn the story about Pandaria, You have to wonder if Garrosh has too much pride and is the final sha

评论来自 CallMeNoa

Is anyone else getting a bug where he won't hand you the rope for the next leg and so you can't continue on?

评论来自 JoshDJX

Had a problem where the rope wouldn't appear and/or the Seer wouldn't walk.
I was doing it in a party with a friend. Left group and abandoned the quest then it worked perfectly.
Thought I'd share this in case others are having a problem in a party as well.

Quest mini-chain start is Chen Stormstout in Razor Hill, after you do the Blood in the Snow scenario quest, Dark Heart of Pandaria scenario quest, helped Vol'jin in Sen'jin villiage, and finally take Razor Hill.

I'm unable to complete this, Seer does not give me the rope after the 3rd Anchor.

评论来自 Romire

Id like to point out for those suffering from "Unable to Pull" the Seer up due to bugs, Abandon the quest, and find him back at the bottom of the hill again.

Blizzard is looking into this

The quest has been hot fixed and is working as intended

Brief nostalgia of FMAB when the emporer is talking about Pride being the last sha to destroy

评论来自 Sharessa

Feel free to use stealth to cruise by the 高山暴怒者 mobs. Seer Hao Pham Roo can climb right past them just fine. Makes it way faster.

I dont think it is really clear here in the comments. Once you accept the quest, run up to the first post and WAIT. He will climb up and say something, and then you can start going to the second. Wait after each post, and you will keep progressing.

评论来自 platoriam

i am not getting any next quest when i finisht his quest :( did i do something wrong or is it normal?

评论来自 1122227

We are not asking the right questions:

1) Why is Garrosh so filled with rage? Is someone corrupting him, or rather "deceiving" him, maybe The Deceiver himself?
2) The Emperor said "Be ware of pride, be humble, this world is plunging into chaos." What chaos? The chaos of Alliance and Horde killing eachother or some other sort of chaos, the same chaos that was seen in the Legendary quest?

评论来自 343516

This quest seems to have some bugging issues. Make sure you stay near the anchor point to get the rope for the next step. If you don't get the rope, abandon and repeat. the NPC will respawn at starting point instantly so there is no waiting.

Also when you reach the top, you will see the questionmark at your minimap, indicating you to go down to deliver the quest. DON'T.
Wait for the NPC to climb up and do his talking. After that you can deliver your quest and get your nice reward. You can't mount until the quest is finished, so don't fall down into your own death :)

Sadly (ironically), I bet most players won't actually stick around to listen to the old man after getting their new boots.

评论来自 852822

This was an epic quest, especially when he finally reveals himself to be the Emperor that everyone has been talking about since we arrived on Pandaria. The existence of the Sha of Pride being revealed was also epic. Who wants to bet that Garrosh gets possessed by the Sha of Pride? -.-

评论来自 turbogorm

I'd put a lot of money on the sha of pride being linked to the garrosh fight. It is garrosh's signature trait and Could possess him similar to the goblin in the "dark heart of pandaria" scenario. This gives the potential for the garrosh encounter to become a lot more interesting, being simply a really strong orc warrior, there was previously little room for him to become an encounter with interesting mechanics like Arthas was.

Edit: http://media.mmo-champion.com/images/news/2013/june/GarroshHulked.jpg Looks like I was right guna be a sick fight!

Lore Stand Point~

So the Ghost of the last Pandaren Emperor is having a little sit down with us.

The Highlights; He tells us that he defeated and buried all the Sha, but the Sha of Pride which he could never defeat due to his pride in the people of Pandaria. He felt Pandaria could stand alone without outside aid, and through this pride, the Sha was able to blanket Pandaria in the Mists. The same Mists which kept Pandaria obscured and isolated from the rest of Azeroth (the ones that mysteriously vanished sometime around the end of the Cataclysm).

Conspiracy Theory: Garrosh is possessed by or working with the Sha of Pride.

The Mists mysteriously disappear around the same time Garrosh goes from wanting to lead the Horde to destroy the Alliance to the point where He believes the Orcs are a superior race and the rest of the Horde should serve them.
His Pride in the Orcs overwhelms his desire to defeat the Alliance (not very Garrosh like). If you've read Theramore, you'll know that Garrosh almost loses Ogrimmar after the Fall of Theramore since his troops are over-extended and Jaina goes ballistic. Keeping with the pride theme, it would seem he didn't feel he could be beaten despite being tactically unsound.

Garrosh has previously tried to harness, control or merge with the Sha (The Divine Bell event).
Prideful to assume you could control a force of nature, no? Plus how did Garrosh find out about the Bell exactly? Yes he heard from his agents about a relic, but they never outlined how he knew exactly what an ancient lost relic could do. Presumably a Sha that had been around to experience the Last Emperor use the Bell to defeat the other Sha, but escape itself, would know.

Garrosh sends his minions (The Goblins and Blood Elves) on archaeology digs across Pandaria.
Why does Garrosh suddenly care about archaeology? He doesn't seem like the most scientifically minded does he? If you completed the Klaxxi Rep grind you'll know that all Sha are only parts of the Old God Y'Shaarj who was killed and buried beneath Pandaria. We know from C'thun and YogSaron that the Old Gods never seem to really die. In Dark Heart of Pandaria (a required 5.3 scenario) the Gobs discover a Y'Shaarj relic. The Kor'Kron overseer admits it is what they have been looking for. It has the capability to generate Y'Shaarj's energies.

So if your a prideful Sha (like the Sha of Pride) you might assume that you could resurrect the Old God and take complete control of the powers of all the reassembled Sha, assuming that the Old God doesn't control the actions of the Sha to some level, thereby seeking to resurrect itself.

My final point is that this whole step in the 5.3 questline is largely unnecessary UNLESS there is relevance to it. Why have us do a few scenarios and a bunch of Barrens content and then send us all the way to Kun Lai for some irrelevant quest to help an old man up a hill? Why introduce the Sha of Pride who we have never heard of or encountered before, especially when the story line has shifted from Pandaria to Kalimdor?
The only logical conclusion is that something from the Path of the Last Emperor is important to the story line yet to resolve in 5.3, and that the newly revealed Sha of Pride is connected.

Edit;
http://www.wowhead.com/news=214667/patch-5-4-tier-16-season-14-and-npc-3d-models-siege-of-orgrimmar-dungeon-journal#54bosses-garrosh-hellscream
Sha of Pride is a boss in Siege of Ogrimmar and Garrosh IS infused with Sha energy in the final fight (as are his 'True Horde' followers (i.e. what he tried to do with the Divine Bell). Not only does it appear he's working with the Sha of Pride, as predicted, he's also attempted to merge with the Sha, as predicted, and it also looks like the Paragons of the Klaxxi are similarly corrupted.

For those that don't wait around here is what Seer Hao Pham Roo says..

Seer Hao Pham Roo says: I was going to teach you a lesson but instead, it is you who have taught me. You see, when I was young... when I was young... when I was young... I... was emperor.

Emperor Shaohao says: I conquered my doubts, my fears, my anger... I buried all of it within the land.

But I held on to one vice. The one sha I never conquered. PRIDE.

My pride cloaked this land in mists! I thought we were better than the rest of the world.

I thought we could solve our own problems. But for ten thousand years, we stagnated, our doubts and fears buried in the land, rising up to fester whenever we allowed them.

Pride. It is the most insidious of sha. It is good until it is bad. And then it is more dangerous than all the others combined.

Beware of Pride! Be humble! The world is plunging into chaos. Old enemies must work together. Proud races must admit they need help.

Things are going to get worse before they get better. Only by working together can we overcome the darkness.

All that stands in our way... is pride.

Note for druids:

You can not deer form your way up AT ALL. While you may be able to attach the rope to the next pillar, he will bug out and not give you the next rope. If you can't resist the urge and switch forms to travel form you will need to drop the quest and start again. Using sprint/roar in other forms did not cause this.

Unconfirmed note: A friend said they could Displacer Beast their way up as well.

I think the Mists involving Pandária, represents, in the real World the tradicional Chinese Isolationism.

"My pride cloaked this land in mists! I thought we were better than the rest of the world."
Said the emperor in the quest...
This exactly thougth the chineses along our classic dinasties, and our country was (and still are) called by they how "Emperor of the Midlle" (of the universe, of course) chin. Zhongguo.

"Beware of Pride! Be humble! The world is plunging into chaos. Old enemies must work together. Proud races must admit they need help.." Clearly sayng about a new boss, called Sha of Pride, and alliance between ally and trolls, but also, the world's actual caotic situacion, and relationship between East and West of the Planet. Well is my opinion, do the conclusion yourselves.

For Priests, 信仰飞跃 does work on 先知昊梵舟 but from personal experience,I don't recommend it. I pulled him up because he was so slow. Once he was next to me,he turned and walked all the way back to the last post, circled it and started the slow trek back up the hill. I ended up waiting twice as long. :p

I did this quest without issue on several characters right after patch 5.3 hit. I'm not sure if it was a hotfix that broke it, or a problem that no one else has encountered yet, but I started having trouble advancing the quest on my monk. On the 4th and 5th anchors, the seer would seemingly randomly not give me the rope to tie to the next anchor (I would not get the lead climber debuff). Relogging did not solve the problem. Abandoning the quest and starting over again reset the progress, and being careful to stay next to him and not using Roll or Flying Serpent Kick let me finally complete the quest on my fourth try.

评论来自 cmacord

I don't know if this has been fixed or what, but I had no problem whatsoever with it...it took me about 10 min. to complete on my Hunter. I just put my pet (luckily, I had my tanking pet out, which I think made his survival easier) on the zephyrs as soon as I saw one, trapping the ones that aggroed on me, and I just walked up the hill and clicked on the anchor, and the old man just slowly chugged up the hill to where I was. There were no complications or problems whatsoever. I still can't believe I got kickass raid-level boots by doing one little 10-minute quest :)

Lor'themar also mentions to Garrosh in the Divine Bell chain that it could be due to Pride that the Mogu were defeated.

if you stick close to him you both get a speed buff

评论来自 Ellisande

If you are a priest, you have a couple of options available to you that will make this quest 90% less painful. For the duration of this escort, the seer will be treated as though he were a party member.

1. From your second tier of talents, if have selected Body and Soul or Angelic Feather, you will be able to make him move 60% faster at intervals.

2. Leap of Faith. If you use this, do not use it while standing right on top of a post, make him walk a few more steps or you risk having him backtrack. Worth a try though, I used mine twice on the trek without any issues.

3. If you have the Glyph of Levitate, you can increase his base run speed by 15%.

4. Kill a Summit Guster for the Zephyr buff (50% movement speed) and walk with Hao to share it with him.

With these powers combined (and liberal use of fears), this quest took approximately 2 minutes.

评论来自 591906

This quest can seriously go to hell. It's so outrageously picky about your phasing that it will reset if you step an inch off the path or even get bounced up in the air by the mobs flying around. The best way I found to succeed is leave his ass at the bottom of the hill, go kill ALL of the mobs so they won't respawn on you, and just give up on the speed buff. Then you only have to worry about the blowing wind counting your movements as trying to cheat and kicking you out of the Seer's phase.

评论来自 Melandroso

There is no direct follow-up after this quest, but when you come back to Shrine of the Two Moons (or Shrine of the Seven Stars), there is a blue daily quest available: 战争之路 (alliance equivalent: 战争之路)

评论来自 lockbox

This quest can still be completed as of 5.4, despite the removal of the Barrens questline.

Head over to 游学者周卓 - you'll need to complete 国王与议会, and then 酋长与黑暗 - he offered these quests to my newly-dinged 90s. When you've done them, 年老的先知 will lead to 末代皇帝之路.

(Note: Wowhead currently displays these quests as unavailable in-game. Either Blizzard have modified the quest IDs, or Wowhead is just not up to date yet.)

This quest can be rather challenging in many ways, especially since gusts of wind make it difficult to maneuver freely and reliably during combat.

The trail is steep and the snow is slick. As soon as you stop moving up-slope, gravity pulls you, and the wind pushes you, down-slope immediately -- almost as quickly as you normally walk on flat terrain. You can be pulled or pushed off the trail, and the fall is likely to kill you. Where the trail becomes flat, the wind doesn't move you as much or as often.

The slope and the wind continuously move you away from the Summit Guster mobs. Their Zephyr slows your movement toward them by 50%. Their Frigid Gust knocks you back, away from them and often down-slope. Their Frost Shards make them quite deadly, too. Above all, they move around and about, freely and frequently, so you must constantly re-target the one(s) that you are fighting.

This makes it difficult for a melee fighter to stay within range of the mobs. One recourse is to use the mouse for moving your PC (if you normally use the AWSD keys). Then the left fingers can press keys to apply your abilities without allowing the wind, or gravity, to move you down-slope. But your right hand must still maintain your position with the mouse.

It seems that multi-target AoE abilities were not as effective as attacking each mob individually, although you are likely to be under attack by as many as three or four mobs at the same time. Beware of your health and use your self-heals judiciously. Usually the best position is with your back to the rock wall, so they cannot attack from behind, but it can be difficult to maintain such a position where the slope is significant.

To prepare for my second set of attempts as a paladin: I removed the Glyph of Mass Exorcism to restore it as a ranged spell in this context, and exchanged the Glyph of Double Jeopardy for the Glyph of Divine Protection. Also, I used the Seal of Insight in order to gain healing while the mobs attacked.

In my experience, the Seer often disappeared from the scene for no evident reason. In each case, the Quest Log showed that the rope had been attached to the first two or three anchors. But I subsequently found the Seer at his initial location, and the only way to proceed was to abandon the quest and receive it from him again. As you might expect, if you are killed, then you must abandon the quest and receive it from him again, at his initial location.

In my experience:

(1) Do not attach the rope to an anchor post unless and until all mobs that you encountered while climbing the slope, or near the post, are dead. If the Seer arrives during combat, he is likely to return to his initial position. However, if the Seer is standing at an anchor post, then combat nearby does not disturb him, at least not if it occurs in the general direction of the next anchor.

(2) You must be near the post when the Seer arrives or he will disappear. As others have suggested, you can return down-slope to the Seer after attaching the rope. If you accompany him during his climb, then the buff that you gained from killing Summit Guster mobs enables the Seer to move up-slope to the anchor post very quickly. Once you arrive, wait until he finishes his speech before you proceed to the next one.

Since much of what happens during this quest is goverened by chance, hope and pray for good luck, because you are likely to need it. Don't believe the braggarts. Enjoy!

To complete this quest in 9.1, go to 游学者周卓 in Vale of Eternal Blossoms. You may have to talk to Chromie on the balcony to get the correct version of the Vale. Talk to 游学者周卓 to get the quest 国王与议会, then talk to the nearby NPC Lorewalker Fu 游学者福云 to start the scenario "Blood in the Snow". Complete the Scenario.

Talk to Lorewalker Cho again and get the quest 酋长与黑暗. Talk to Lorewalker Fu again and complete the scenario "The Dark Heart of Pandaria". Talk to Lorewalker Cho again to get 年老的先知.

Then go to /way Kun-Lai Summit 45 47 Seer Hao Pham Roo, and talk to 先知昊梵舟 to complete the quest. Finally, you can pick up 末代皇帝之路.

Anchor the rope that Seer Hao Pham Roo gives you by clicking the posts (anchor points). If you kill any 高山暴怒者 mobs, it will give you the buff Zephyr 微风 which increases your movement speed and the movement speed of Seer Hao Pham Roo when you are close to him. Use it to make him move up the ropes faster. Finally, turn in the quest at the top of the mountain for your reward.

You must wait for Pham Roo to move to each Rope Anchor before you go to the next one. If you stand too far away from a Rope Anchor while Pham Roo is walking towards it, Pham Roo will despawn and go back to the start, which will force you to abandon the quest to pick it up and do it all over again.

This quest is still available today with Patch 11.2.7, the patch before Midnight. You MUST complete this quest in order to purchase for your home.
First, you must go to 谭欣眺 at 82.27 in the Valley of Eternal Blossoms. She sells some beautiful Pandaren decorative items for your home. (If you don't see her, you must speak to 希多尔米 in front of the door.)

If you can buy without any problems, congratulations – if not, you can get it as follows:

- Talk to Zidormi (“Show me what the Valley of Eternal Blossoms looked like before the Black Empire attacked”).
- Go back into the building and talk to 游学者周卓.
- Accept the quest “Blood-Red Snow” (you may need to activate low-level quests).
- Talk to 游学者福云 right next to the stairs.
- Select the option “Tell me the story ‘Blood-Red Snow’”. You will automatically sign up for a scenario that you can easily complete solo.
- Turn in the quest to 游学者周卓 and accept the follow-up quest “The Dark Heart of Pandaria.”
- Now complete the scenario of the same name at 游学者福云.
- After that, you can finally accept the quest “The Path of the Last Emperor” and follow the steps already described here.

Then you have to talk to 希多尔米 again to see 谭欣眺 in the building, and then you can finally buy . Good luck!

Now that the Shaohao Ceremonial Bell housing item is linked to this quest, you may be going back to complete it. Head to Mogushan Palace in the Veil of Eternal Blossoms and speak to Lorewalker Cho. He may have up to 3 quests for you, but one of them will be "The Old Seer". Several sources inaccurately report the quest is no longer in-game, but speaking with Cho will allow you to complete it. Once you have the quest zip up to Mount Neverest on Kun-Lai Summit and talk to Seer. He'll give you the rope to run ahead to the posts. Tie off the rope and then go back and walk next to him to share your zephyr speed boost and you'll have that bell in no time.
