This rare elite is very difficult, but completely possible, to solo as a Tauren Retribution Paladin with the buffs to Unbreakable Spirit and Inquisition. It requires Fist of Justice, Unbreakable Spirit, and possibly Selfless Healer (I didn't try with Sacred Shield). Everything else is standard for a PvE Ret Paladin.

Through a combination of Fist of Justice, Rebuke, War Stomp, Divine Protection to reduce damage from 180k to 100k, Divine Shield/Lay on Hands, and Blinding Light, with a bit of luck, you can interrupt and stun just long enough to kill him from 5 million hp. I also had the aid of the Engineering Frag Belt as an additional way to stop his casting.

Essentially what it boils down to, is using each stun/interrupt when he's just about to cast Ruby Bolt. Use the stuns in order of longest cooldown to shortest, but prioritize Rebuke over everything else. Make sure to take enough time between War Stomp and Fist of Justice so that Fist of Justice doesn't get diminishing returns. When you cannot possibly stop a Ruby Bolt, use Divine Protection to reduce the incoming damage. If you're at full health, Divine Protection can last you through a good 3 Ruby Bolts and will only have a 30 second cooldown with Unbreakable Spirit. Selfless Healer comes in handy as it allows you to to waste minimal time when healing between Ruby Bolts, although don't hesitate to use Lay on Hands or Divine Shield if he's moments away from killing you. Use Lay on Hands over Divine Shield in the first dire situation, as you won't incur a 50% damage penalty and will be able to immediately continue damaging and interrupting.

I did this with an iLvl of around 475, and my only real enchants were Synapse Springs, Frag Belt, and Windsong on my weapon. It will become easier as you get more gear from 5.4 and possibly use Timeless Isles buffs to increase your dps.

Seems the pet is the rare drop for this npc in that it's not a 100% drop; got Garnia to 10% by myself, only to come back to find em' dead of course, been here since server came up, killed three times, missed two due to dying... respawn seems to be about 33min

How to reach Garnia :

Cross the bridge on the way to ordos , at the 'checkpoint', between the 2 bridges (between mossgreen lake and the blazing way) wait for a highwind albatroz to appear, hit him 1 time, and wait...wait a LONG time.

He will take you flying,when you reach the red pool of water, hit him again,and he will fall, kill him,and wait/kill garnia, Enjoy the pet farming <3

ALSO, if you're a enginner, you can get away from the isle (when the fadigue warning appears), mount up, get really high(no double sentences here!) and use your goblin glider, to reach it, cancel over the water (to avoid dying) and be happy!

I've noticed the spawn timer for all of the rares I've encountered so far, is around 30-45 minutes.

Killed this rare three times today. First at 11.07am server time, then 12.05pm server time and third at 12.48pm server time.
Edit: Just killed a 4th time at 1.35pm.
Double edit: 5th and last time at 2.30pm.

As a shadow priest, I kited it around the grassy around near the cliff edge to avoid it being able to cast it's spell. I interrupted the couple that I could not get out of the way of in time and also used dispersion to avoid another. I wouldn't recommend fading to let your shadowfiend tank, as it will get one or two shot and you won't get much of the pets benefit. Overall, a pretty easy rare to farm, just make sure you aren't trying to kill it in the water.

While I was waiting for this rare to spawn, Huolon spawned exactly one hour apart at 11.39am and 12.39pm.

Been farming this guy for awhile and I have watched everyone I know get the drop but me. Even random horde that attacked well after I have tagged it.

Anyways here is a tip for getting up there if you are tired of trying to use the bird though it can be really rough especially if you are not a priest, mage, or engineer.

Water walk or swim to the north east of the island (close to the lake) When you reach a bit into the fatigue point you can mount onto your flying mount. Fly up to near the roof of the game (where your mount will refuse to fly any higher) You do not want to be at the roof but somewhat close to it. Then fly straight towards the lake. If you aimed it right your character will fall down into the water and land safely.

Pet classes can pull her with their pet from the bottom of the waterfall if she isn't engaged. Saves sitting on the bird for 10 minutes or slow falling/glidering.

There is no graveyard up at the lake, so if you die and release you will be back down on the Blazing Way.

The albatross ride is a little under four and a half minutes from the western edge of the Celestial Arena to the eastern edge of the lake.

The respawn timer for Garnia ranges from 30 minutes to 60 minutes. I have seen both extremes after camping him for a whole day. As you would guess he respawns every ~45min on average.

For rogues, this fight is simple. Just kite her around on the land with Shuriken Toss and use Deadly Throw to interrupt her cast. If done properly, she shouldn't ever get a hit off on you.

Normaly when i farm this it respawns after 30-60 min, but today I've litterally waited for well over 3 hours without him spawning

I've been farming this mob since about the patch came out, and I just got the pet today(Saturday) on Zul'jin.

From what I've seen the spawn timer is between 30 and 60 minutes. It might of been my imagination but it really felt like Garnia was favoring 50+ minutes when there were more people waiting for the respawn. Even in the evening when the Isle is at its busiest, if it only a few people were there waiting at the 30 minute mark Garnia seemed to spawn faster. Like I said, I could be imagining it though.

My advice on farming the pet; park an alt up on the Ruby Lake and wait for the spawn. After a kill, switch and do something on another character for a while. Check back in after 30 minutes and start camping till it respawns.

It took over 20 kills for me to get the pet. I've observed respawn times as short as 20 minutes, and ones as long as just over an hour. Most often it would repop between 30-40 minutes.

Garnia drops a pretty cool pet, same size as the other Pandaren Elemental pets Timeless Isle Guide. Just a Ruby Red color, same noises and actions as the other ones to. But it is by in large the hardest of the Patch 5.4 Elemental pets to get just due to the pain of getting to Garnia. Recommend that you buy some sort of glider ( Golden Glider sold on the island, or for engineers Goblin Glider) and swim out until your able to hop on a flying mount. Fly up then towards the island just make sure your fairly high before you start dropping once dismounted and falling use the glider and do circles above the lake until landed. This is a simple way to pretty much get anywhere on the island faster then taking a Highwind Albatross.

Couple of notes about Garnia looks Closer to a 40 to 45 minute respawn time, ive seen it at the 33 min spawn and up to over an hour respawn time. Total Kills for myself was well over 30 until she dropped the pet. On average i would say around 40 minute respawn, once she is spawned watch out for her Ruby Bolt. It does just over 200K damage she spams it around every 5 seconds, it can be interrupted and she can also be stunned. Also she can be Kited around the island stay on the outer ring and run around at range, she has to keep moving and the bolt will not hit you.

The one time someone left loot on the body it took exactly 30 mins to despawn the corpse, and then exactly 30 mins to spawn the rare. So I'm thinking maybe the timer is tied to the despawning of the corpse?

Soloed this one as an arms warrior in 529 item level for the achievement, 4 left now.

Basically ruby bolt does 200k damage, takes a while to cast, I was using second wind though, which means that once it gets me in second wind area (519k hp, so second wind heals 3% when over 180k or so) it can 1-shot me.

So I used all cds, interrupted the bolt with pummel whenever possible, 15 sec cd unfortunately, and used shield wall for 3 ruby bolts when pummel was on cd, and then die by the sword + rallying cry and went in defensive stance for the end; risked a lot, but to make it easier you can also use intimidating shout, you can only use it once in the fight, but during the time it's feared your interrupt should be back up ready.

Also, I didn't really have the right talents for this, stormbolt and shockwave make it easier, you can time them perfectly for when your interrupt is on cd.

I've seen her spawn as quickly as 30 minutes and as late as 70 minutes apart. However, the most common spawn time seems to be 1 hour apart. Park a toon up on Ruby Lake and check back every 30 minutes or so to catch the maximum amount of spawns.

Her pet 红玉小水滴 is rare (it took me about 30 kills to get), but it looks awesome and has an incredible tanking move set, so he's worth the time to farm. :)

How to solo this rare as a ranged: Let it cast Ruby Bolt on you, and while it's charging the bolt, walk slowly back. It will stop Garnia's casting and it'll chase you further. Just keep walking back while it casts bolt, then you should be out of harm.
Also, Garnia won't run back if you keep letting it channel the bolt at you. If you run back and let it chase you for too long without letting it charge bolt, it will run back and you'll have to start over.

A suggestion for anyone who doesn't want to buy the glider, and doesn't have slow fall or levitate... Get the quest Kill 'em With Sleep Deprivation in Searing Gorge. Take your time with the pillows.. Grab one.. Wait a minute.. Grab another.. Takes a few minutes, but a mob of sleepy dwarves will attack.. Kill em.. Do more waiting.. Kill the next wave.. Wait just a bit more.. and Chambermaid Pillaclencher will come along.. Kill her and she drops a pillow. Click on the pillow for a cash-in quest called look at the Size of it!. What do you get? Why a handy, dandy trinket called Evonice's Landin' Pilla. Ten second slow fall with a 30 minute cd. Useful if you want to experiment with flying to various locations on the island.

Easy to get to as a priest. Fly north until you fatigue, and make sure you're at an altitude higher than the lake. As you're flying back towards the isle, aiming for the lake, wait until you are dismounted and click levitate. Once you're over the lake, cancel levitate, and land in the water to avoid fall damage. (this is also a good way to get to the other side of the bridge without having the legendary cloak. You still need the cloak to participate in the raid however.)

Soloing him is easy. Kite him around the lake. I usually run around the Tree at the top and jump back into the lake (utilizing levitate) He's slow, and if done correctly, you will completely avoid any damage.

Some spawn timer info for people camping Garnia for the pet.

I have camped this rarespawn over a number of days now and am 99.99% sure the respawn timer is a minimum of 30 minutes and a maximum of 60 minutes after the kill and corpse despawn.

The time for respawn can increase is someone fails to loot the corpse at which it will take exactly 30 miinutes for the unlooted corpse to despawn and the the 30 - 60 minute respawn timer begins.

Here is a days worth of respawn data I have collected.

8:50am (38 minutes respawn)
9:29am (39 minutes respawn)
10:11am (42 minutes respawn)
10:59am (48 minutes respawn)

I was thinking that maybe the X-52 Rocket Helmet
could be used to gain access to this area. Possibly use it at the bridge. I'm not sure if I have mine anymore but I do have some alts that I know haven't done the quest chain to get the item.

Easy way to reach him as engineer is to use the Gleaming Crane Statue and Glider down from the air. This is also generally an awesome way to quickly check several rarespots by simply flying over them.

You can easily get to 加尼亚 pretty fast and landing in the water using 坠落之焰 or 流星残片 (Mist of Pandaria Remix)

Go to location /way #554 38 54, (stand in the bush near the celestial world boss)
Use tom tom (I set a way point to /way #554 65 28, in the middle of the Ruby lake, this should also put an arrow for direction.) or approximate the way you need to go.
Position yourself so the arrow is looking straight up.
Use 坠落之焰 (Drops from 落烬) OR 流星残片 ( credit goes to Jannysregina for the use of 流星残片 For Mist of Pandaria Remix)
Land in water, no harm done.

**DON'T BE ON A MOUNT 坠落之焰 tend to send you backwards when on a mount. At least for me**

To get the 红玉小水滴 just follow these instructions. Stay up at the ruby lake and log in/out every 30 mins (加尼亚's approx. spawn rate.) and play an alt or whatever you want while waiting.

Out of my last 13 kills, the spawn time has averaged 42 minutes and the pet has dropped 0 times, and I only received one piece of timeless gear.

^Expect crappy results if you want to camp it. You might be camping for a week

One other thing about the Ruby Lake, is that you can catch 飞行虎皮丝足鱼 fish while you are waiting for Garnia to re-spawn.

Out of 200 catches, following is the result:

Golden Carp: 95, 47.7%
Jewel Danio: 46, 23.1%
Krasarang Paddlefish: 24, 12.1%
Empror salmon: 22, 11.1%
Sealed Crates: 6, 3.0%
Flying Tiger Gourami: 5, 2.5%

I'm not sure about the required minimum Fishing Skill but I'm already at 600.

When I use 精致的卡鲁亚克鱼竿 and 饱经风霜的渔帽, the percentage of catching the Flying Tiger Gourami becomes 7% (1 out of 15 catches)

Very easy way to kill this rare as warlock or a hunter. What you need is a pet.
Move to 63.31 (Ordon sanctuary, small lake to the right of graveyard), do /tar Gar and simple send you pet to attack Garnia. When you see Garnia took damage, move your pet back to you. When Garnia is in your sight and you can attack - do so with 1 spell and move a bit back, like 10yards, so she will follow you down to water. Thats it, kill her!

I got my pet after ~50 kills and i was using this method :P Screw the gliders/albatrosses etc.

If you have 坠落之焰, you can blast straight to Garnia by standing at 35.2, 51.0 (right at the edge of the arena, between the two statues) and angling yourself straight at the lake. Huge time saver! Enjoy!

i use the crane statue before the bridge that cinderfall is on. it shoots you way up and then gives you wings....instead of getting chests i glide over to where garnia is

How to solo as Ret (gear doesnt matter):

The key is, that Garnia's only abiltiy has a great weakness being its 20m range. So you practicly have to kite the ele around the water whenever your interrupt spells like rebuke and fist of justice are on cd. You can heal yourself with flashlight and word of glory. If you fail hard, use lay of hands. So basicly you just can kite it without ever getting in melee range, but this will take forever only having judgement and exorcism as ranged spells.

the easiest way to get there is to spend 1000 timeless coin to buy Golden Glider from the little panda boy by Cele Arena. then use the Statue by the bridge in front of Cindyfall to shoot you into the air, then use the golden glider to get there. fast and easy.

i have camped this guy out for hours and hours. and everytime i kill it even while in a party i still dont get the pet i have seen others get this pet as often as 3 to 4 times a day. i am up to 150+ kills and no pet. i have called out to the isle and post ''Garnia is up @100%! and ill get a few to come and kill with me. and still no pet.even with a low chance to drop and a 100+ kills my RNG stinks!

Lore Speculation:
There are similarities between Garnia, her lake, and some of the elementals on Bloodmyst Isle.

Namely, they were water elementals in a river that was being polluted by red crystals (turning the water red) and turning the elementals from being water elementals into a hard, jewel-like crystalline elementals (that were red) - exactly like Garnia.

The mysterious red crystals found in the lake (on the Timeless Isle) are said to come from "deep within the Timeless Isle mountain", which more or less rules out the possibility that they fell off the Exodar, but otherwise the theory matches up with the lore behind the corrupted water elementals on the island.

In my opinion, one of the easiest bosses to solo on the isle as a retribution paladin.

Talents needed: Selfless Healer, Fist of Justice, Holy Avenger
Spells needed (defensive): Divine Protection, Blinding Light (, Lay on Hands/Divine Shield)

Engage with blowing your cooldowns ( Holy Avenger, GotAK, Avenging Wrath)
Get Inquisition up asap, rebuke first bolt. Keep building holy power with hammer of wrath and judgement.
Use the selfless healer full stack proc when needed (but make sure you have a full proc ready after you took a ruby bolt with divine protection active.)
Interrupt second bolt with fist of justice, third with the blind, take the next bolt with divine protection + selfless healer proc.
If Garnia is still up, you can interrupt the next two bolts with rebuke and fist of justice again, and he/she/it should be dead by then.
If not, you can throw in lay on hands or divine shield and get it down. LoH preferred, so you won't lose any damage.

As someone said in his coment (the only clever coment I found here), if you wan't to farm for her battle pet, grab a hunter/warlock. You can get easily to the bottom of the waterfall from her area, '/tar Garnia' send pet to attack/aggro her (pets can climb the waterfall upto her with no problem), and pull pet back, she will follow, and when in range you can kill her. If you're not and engineer or hunter, don't kill her in the middle of the water fall or you won't be able to fetch the loot. This is by far the fastest and better way to grind her pet, and since most people will try the bad albatroz strat, or gliding to there, you'll get most kills, unless there's already someone camping her (which is in my opinion, really bad, to waste time only on one rare, when you can kill a lot on the vicinities, and always walking close to her area to see if he spawned in minimap). Hunters and warlocks can use the same 'send pet, then pull back' too on the Giant Cliffdweeler walking close to Huolon's spawn spot, you farm for their drops while waiting for the serpent to come.

Another aproach to get there is to swim to fatigue area and fly to the top and then fall into the lake when it unmounts. There are several slowfall like items that can be used in case you missed the lake such as Skyguard's Drape.

With practice you can just fall into the lake directly.

This is just terrible. Garnia, as you probably figured by reading all the other comments, has to be killed anywhere between once, to two-hundred times in order for you to get the pet.
Now, this wouldn't be THAT bad, since the pet is adorable and quite the tank in pet battles, however.... SHE'S/HE'S ADORABLE!... She/he makes cute little "Ow!" "Ouch!" sounds when you hit her/him, looks adorable, and on top of that you have no reason to kill her/him except for the pet!
I mean really, Now I feel guilty for farming a pet!
Hopefully, in the future, Blizzard will avoid making these mobs we have to kill hundreds of times adorable.

Not the easiest solo as a rogue. The key is to employ mind-numbing, space out your kicks (while using kidney shots as interrupts), and utilize recuperate. Even then, depending on IL, it's a crapshoot. You want to let Garnia get to near-max cast before interrupting to maximize her non-attack time, but a slight amount of lag or a bit of mistiming can allow her to get off the bolt. You can only eat a couple of those before you're dead.

I just camped Garnia for 2 kills, spawn time was exactly 100 minutes in between. It seems the timer has increased since WoD.

Edit: I went back last night and camped her for 4 kills and each was between 45-55 min spawn time.

Between my first kill and 加尼亚's second spawn were 35 minutes. Third spawn happened after 42 minutes, and so had my 300th catch. In that amount, I leveled from somewhere in the 620 range to 685.

Catch results:

Golden Carp: 154 (51.3%)
Jewel Danio: 66 (22.0%)
Krasarang Paddlefish: 49 (16.3%)
Emperor Salmon: 22 (7.3%)
Sealed Crate: 9 (3.0%)

Spent several hours camping Garnia for the pet on Hydraxis/Terenas-US. From what I saw, she spawned at:

Roughly 50 minute average spawn time after 17 kills. Keeping a spreadsheet of spawn times made it easy to predict when she'd spawn. Toward the end of my camping, she tended closer to 60 minutes rather than 40 which made the average longer. Last spawn took 39 minutes.

Shortest spawn time frame I saw was 33 minutes. Longest was an hour. I was gone for a short while between 1 PM and 1:56 PM but I returned before she spawned. I was not server hopping. Spent my time either fishing for the tiny blue carp, watching TV, or browsing the web. Another guy I saw that was server hopping said he had 4 tickets in because he couldn't loot the Garnias he killed on other servers.

Yes... I know her well... And I must tell you a story...

There once was a druid whale that spent days swimming in a bloody pool at the top of a mountain, hoping to catch a glimpse of the famous Ruby Droplet . Her eyes were weary as she tried to keep the waters out of the books she was editing to pass the time.

And that... is when -it- happened...

She had been there no longer than five minutes when someone screamed at her about bugs and spawns and being in water... But she loved the water! Yes, the albatross birds had ruined it with the dead bodies that had spewed their inner liquids into it, but she was sure it had once been a beautiful place!

But, I digress...

Confusion overcame her! Bugging spawns? The Garnia creature had spawned at odd times for days, regardless of her swimming.

Then, from out of the blue yonder flew the screaming hunter! Pursued by an angry dragon of flames and death! His pet had the dragon's aggro, so he chased the druid whale with it, causing the angry dragon-beast to projectile-vomit its fire and death at the druid as she rested her weary bones.

What would she do?

As it turns out, the dragon was no match for the druid, so it died a painful death, adding its blood to the pool in which she swam.

The hunter, enraged by her survival, screamed at her about spawn times, again, and how she was at fault for the delay! And, before she could properly reply, he suddenly vanished...

...to hopefully go change his diaper...

For those of you searching for answers. Yes you can cross realm hop this rare. Join any group in custom tab. If it is a raid style group and Garnia is up, tag the rare, leave group and kill on your realm/solo. This will allow you to loot it. Done this a few times so far with success on the method, but no pet drop yet. Average respawn time seems to be 30-45mins for me so far.

Somewhat related thing to this rare:

To get to her fast, without using the albatross mail or fatigue method, touch the Gleaming Crane Statue at 58.6, 60. It will toss you high up in the air. Once there and wings have sprouted from your character's back, use Goblin Glider or Golden Glider, which is sold right on the Timeless Isle.

It would easily get you to the lake where Garnia spawns.
Small note: cancelling the effect of statue first will make you slow-fall in spot, unmoving.

Timeless Isle 64.5, 28.4 Ruby Lake,
at the eastern edge of the underwater crater at the bottom of the lake.

Everybody is making this much harder than it needs to be. If someone already said this, I'm sorry, I didn't read every post. Anyway, I use a Goblin Glider. Right after one of the bridges there is a statue thing you can click on that will launch you high up in the air and then give you wings and you are supposed to try to land on the floating rings or something like that. I just click on statue, click on the prompt to launch me up, and once I start falling down slowly with the wings I click Goblin Glider and fly over to the lake. Nice and easy.

Some advice for those of you who farm Garnia for the pet but can't get the loot while in raids.The method is simple.
When you find Garnia, tag her and after that leave the group, kill her and be sure to loot within 3 seconds(I hope i'm correct) or else you will be ported back to your realm.

I've killed Garnia 100+ times & seen no loot drop many times Today I've been realm hopping while watching TV & got a run of 4 kills w/out loot. Carried on killing Garnia & got more no loot kills. Suspected master loot, pets & failure to tag but was lazy with pets, using a fresh nothing added up so I raised a ticket.

After more kills w/out loot the Ruby Dropletdropped & while out levelling it a GM contacted me & confirmed I had 7 kill w/out loot drops & advised this IS working as intended as there is nothing on Garnia's loot table with a 100% drop rate, not even Timeless coins are a 100% drop.

i think blizard need change drop rate those rares.
at panda people at timeless isle and do ton of realm hops so even low drop rate u get it evtually
then wod with people insanly realm hop from where was sick i so rarely used hated those realm hopers
but with legion now if u not same area no hop

so if u wana farm this u are worst then panda time.

spend week kill 20-30 time waste hours and still no drop

and no more shurt cut

so without realm hope drop rate is horible.
or give decent drop rate chances and change entire game mechanic and turn they daily once kill limit.

instead of revamp all dungeon and rid bring as teimwalk how about fix a little past expansion :D

Tips for Hunters only if you want to get up the hill fast. First go to gleaming crane statue, click on it to get buffed to the air, when you enter glide use Disengage you'll get a boost in the air you can make it to Garnia now.

Bwaaahahahaha Managed to get up here following the Albatross method. While waiting a realmhoper appeared in the pool, oh no, I thought, here we go, who gets to one shot him first. Realm hopper hops and the second he despawns Garnia appeared. No Pet drop unfortunately.

just a tip: if you're going to use the albatross pick up method to reach garnia but you're afraid to kill the albatross because you're too high level and you don't have any taunt ability, you can use toys like fruit basket to pull it

Been farming this guy for a while now, multiple kills per day, at minimum twice a day. Started using the 'disengage/goblin glider' trick on my hunter at the Crane Statue and have gone through 40 of those alone, I would estimate I'm over 80 kills thus far with no drop. Seriously, I've had raid mounts with much, much lower drop rates drop faster than this...

For the hunters that is using the albatross method, there is a way to aggro an albatross without killing it.

I don't remember where I got this macro exactly, but it's from a comment somewhere in WoWHead. The macro looks like this:

/dismount
/cast Concussive Shot
/stopattack
/stopattack
/script UIErrorsFrame:Clear()

I would recommend though to kill Garnia in chromie time, warmode on, since many rares there are up nowadays, at least in my server (Medium population). Garnia is alive everytime I log in and Huolon has been alive for 7 hours (The addon NPC Time showed that). It's fairly easy to kill Garnia as a ranged as long you keep moving, as another comment has explained.

As a demon hunter you can make your way around the back and from there you can get up by double jumping, followed by a fel rush and you should be up there.

As of 9/13/2022 I can confirm that Garnia still spawns around 30 to 45 minutes after its body de-spawns, if a person leaves loot it will take even longer i have killed him 31 times so far each within 45 minutes of de-spawn while farming other Timeless Isle Rares.

Killed her about 80 times for the pet which is a part of the bigger bag achivement, that being only 1 of like 40 needed things, the other one being a mount. I cannot understand how Blizzard thinks its fine for people to camp this rare mob and kill her over a 100 times for a pet you will never use for 1/40 of the achivement, the rest of them being equally hard to get, insanity..

With the release of global dynamic flight in 10.2.5, the easiest, and by far, FASTEST way to get to Garnia is to combine dynamic flight and possibly a slow fall like ability or teleport. (If you enjoy chancing it by launching yourself from on high at the blood lake, whom am I to spoil your fun? :D )

Fly from The Jade Forest over fatigue waters, ensuring you do not cross the border into The Timeless Isle too soon. Make sure you are flying over the deep water, as you will dismount a second or two after you cross over that border, like any other mount.

You will use this to your advantage by using a slow fall ability built into your class (i.e. Mages, Priests, Evokers, Demon Hunters), a teleport ability (i.e. Warrior's Heroic Leap), or a Goblin Glider to get to Garnia.

This method also works for the Western Courtyard of the Ordos Temple (i.e. the part of the Ordos Plateau that does not require the Legendary Cloak). You can also use the method I have described from The Timeless Isle itself, so long as you swim far enough out into the deep water that it changes to "Time-Lost Waters". As long as you are in the "Time-Lost Waters", you can mount your dynamic flight mount normally.

The current reset timer for 永恒岛 appears to be 15-minutes. This means if the zone has been empty for that amount time, that particular shard/layer will reset the moment you reenter the zone. This can be a highly effective method for farming rares for 需要一个大背包, opposed to the traditional camping method of every 30-60 minutes, especially on RP servers, War Mode and Chromie Time groups.

How to get to Garnia, in DragonFlight 10.0.
Step 1: Dismiss all pets etc.
Step 2: Go to the path west from the Celestial Court.
Step 3: Target an Albatross.
Step 4: Cast Fruit Basket.
Step 5: Kill the Albatross over Garnia's Lake.

If you dont have Fruit Basket toy, you can use 流星残片 - it will throw you high and far, but if you stand excactly where Imperial Phyton 帝王巨蟒 spawns (33.8 46.6), facing middle of the little red lake she spawns in, you should have a perfect landing.

If you have dragonriding, you don't need any toy or albatross. Just go to the ocean, get out of the map and get fatigue, and use your dragonriding skills to fly as high as you can. Then, go at top speed directly to the red lake in the map. You will lose the mount, but your impulse will drop you at the lake.

My way of getting there was to use my engineer. She went due east of Ruby Lake on her Anglers Fishing Raft. until she started to fatigue. Then she hopped her mount and went straight up till she could see Ruby Late. She headed for it. When her mount drooped her, she activated her glide enhancement on her cloak and glided into the late. Being a level 60 hunter, she stands on the shore, drops it with one shot, and then sends her pet in to loot it.

I would think a Goblin Glider would work just as well or any other controlled fall means would work. My mage tired it with Slow Fall, but she could not control it and kept missing the lake.

I farmed this pet in February 2026, and the rare is on a precise 20 minute respawn timer that starts when it dies. The best way to farm 红玉小水滴 is to park an alt at Ruby Lake (there's several strategies on how to get up there), kill 加尼亚, then set a 20 minute timer on your phone. After that you can logout and do something else, and come back when the timer goes off. You can basically kill the rare 3 times per hour, and as many times as needed per day until the pet drops. Note that the rare has a 60 second immune phase when she spawns, but will die instantly to any offensive ability from a max level character, so if there are others waiting it's best to group up if possible, or use an insta-cast ability to tag the rare if players from the opposite faction are there.

It took me 76 attempts before the pet dropped.

Note also that Ruby Lake is one of the places you can fish for 蓝色小金鱼 so if you're needing that as well you can fish while waiting.
