You get six digs instead of three.

The resulting item is not a white that turns into vendor trash. Instead, it is turned into a crated box--which stacks!

You can turn in one Pandaren artifact a day for 5 Valor Points: 揭秘过去.

Completing a dig site will sometimes spawn an Ancient Horror, a sha that drops more archaeology fragments.

The tooltips for completed objects now helpfully point out that there's more lore in the Archaeology Journal. A common complaint in Cataclysm was that most players didn't know about this.

New Items: Blacksmiths can make two tiers of armor for each plate role, uncommon and rare quality. They can also make a variety of weapons, two PvP sets, and some epic chests and gloves, as well as 活化钢武器链, 活化钢带扣, 幽冥铁盾刺.

Obtaining New Recipes: High-level PvE recipes are available from 卡拉克西 and other recipes are available from 贾鲁高·石蹄 or 科伦·锤眉 for 祥和之灵.

Profession Perk: Engineer-only googles with special cogwheel gems. Several new belt, glove, and cape tinkers:
: Permanently attaches a mounted fireworks launcher to your gloves, allowing a skilled engineer to deal (35 * 7) Fire damage over 3 sec to an enemy at long range. The launcher can only be fired once every 45 sec.

: Permanently attaches lightweight transfluxers onto gloves, allowing you to partially phase and increase dodge by 20520 for 10 sec. Gloves can only be activated once every minute.

: Permanently attaches synapse springs to your gloves, allowing you to increase your highest primary statistic by 1920 for 10 sec. The gloves can be activated every minute.

滑水推进器: Permanently attaches waterjets to your belt, allowing you to walk on water and swim quickly for up to 6 sec.

地精滑翔器: Permanently attaches a specialized folding assembly to a cloak, allowing you to deploy a goblin glider and fall slowly for 30 sec. The glider has some initial thrust and allows you to turn while falling.

New Herbs:
草药师的铲子 is sold by Trade Supply vendors. It increases your herbalism by +10 and does not need to be equipped.

愚人菇: high-level areas with water nearby: Windward Isle, Briny Muck in Dread Wastes, etc. Requires 600 skill.

黄金莲: requires 550 skill, any zone, rare spawn node. Picking one gives you 幸运之莲. Also chance to be inside 谜之种 from Tillers.

绿茶叶: grassy areas in all zones, most common herb. 500 skill to gather.

雨粟花: by inland water. 525 skill to gather.

染煞草药: similar to 冰冷的草药 in Northrend. Found in corrupted areas like Stoneplow Fields in 四风谷. Requires 575 skill.

柔丝草: by water in low-level zones. Requires 545 skill.

雪百合: snowy mountains in Kun-Lai Summit. 575 skill

Pandaria Trainer: 墨水大师魏, 游学者胡恩

Vanity Items: Two new Origami pets: 纸折青蛙 and 纸鹤.

New Items: Scribes are the only source for Shoulder Enchants in Mists of Pandaria. There are dozens of new glyphs too.

Darkmoon Faire: Several powerful Darkmoon Faire trinkets have been added. You can discover a card randomly once a day with 暗月迷雾卡片 or anytime with 迷雾之谜--which takes 10 additional 祥和之灵. It will take a lot of trial and error (or gold) to get the cards you need for your deck.

Pandaria Trainer: 塑玉者麦逸

Vanity Items: Jewelcrafters got a lot of fun things in Mists of Pandaria, including two vanity pets (墨玉幼豹, 碧玉猫头鹰), an item that lets you see far (占卜劣生石), and several very expensive but flashy panther mounts, like 宝石玛瑙猎豹.

New Items: Meta, Red, Blue, Yellow, Purple, Green, Orange. Blizzard made a conscious choice to have primary stat gems seem less powerful compared to secondary stat gems.

Profession Perk: 蛟眼石 is the new JC-only gem in Mists (list of cuts). Players can only equip 2 of these special gems in Mists, in contrast to past expansions where they could equip 3. The gems are created from fusing 闪耀碎片 from prospecting any Pandaria ore.

Obtaining New Recipes: In Mists of Pandaria, the recipe-learning process has changed. Players can discover recipes of a certain color on a daily basis with spells like 朱砂玛瑙, or use 祥和之灵 to discover new recipes even faster. In addition, several recipes can be found while doing 金莲教 dailies.

Leg Kits:Leatherworkers have updated leg kits to sell, with different stat combinations than in Cataclysm.
怒皮腿甲片: Permanently attach armor onto pants to increase Strength by 285 and critical strike by 165. (1x 华丽毛皮, 1x 祥和之灵).

铁鳞腿甲片: Permanently attach armor onto pants to increase Stamina by 430 and dodge by 165. (1x 华丽毛皮, 1x 祥和之灵).

影皮腿甲片: Permanently attach armor onto pants to increase Agility by 285 and critical strike by 165. (1x 华丽毛皮, 1x 祥和之灵).

残暴腿甲片: Permanently attach armor onto pants to increase Strength by 170 and critical strike by 100. (12x 雾触皮).

萦煞腿甲片: Permanently attach armor onto pants to increase Agility by 170 and critical strike by 100. (12x 雾触皮).

韧化腿甲片: Permanently attach armor onto pants to increase Stamina by 250 and dodge by 100. (12x 雾触皮).

邪煞护甲片: Permanently increase the Stamina of an item worn on the head, chest, shoulders, legs, hands or feet by 150. (4x 雾触皮).

Pandaria Trainer: 觅石者郭岩, 冶炼大师灰掌, 碎石者瑞安

New Ore:
幽冥铁矿石: Used in 幽冥铁块. 幽冥铁矿脉 requires 515 Mining and 富幽冥铁矿脉 requires 550 Mining.

黑色延极矿石 and 白色延极矿石: Used in 熔炼延极锭 (two of each). Trillium Deposits are rare nodes in level 90 zones. White Trillium Ore can also be prospected for 闪耀碎片, needed for 蛟眼石.

凯帕琥珀矿脉 and 富凯帕琥珀矿脉 are used to make 凯帕琥珀 which is needed for many engineering recipes. Spawns at the bottom of Kyparite trees in Dread Wastes and Townlong. This ore can be prospected for Jewelcrafting, turned into bars for Blacksmithing and Engineering, and used in 活化钢 Alchemy transmutes.

Profession Perk:活化钢剥皮

Pandaria Trainer: “鹿角”郝立, 陷阱猎手瑞安

New Hides:
肥肠: The 肿胀的怪胃囊 of MoP--chance to loot upon skinning a normal mob. Currently they contain several gold, but may have crafting materials in the future, like Cataclysm had Volatiles.

华丽毛皮: the rare leather for MoP. Very low drop rate. Takes 50 雾触皮 to make.

棱彩鳞片: From reptiles and turtles.

雾触皮: Staple Skinning item from most mobs. Combine 5 染煞之皮.

染煞之皮: From low-level Pandaria mobs. Combine 5 into 雾触皮.

Profession Perk:剥皮小刀裁缝

Tailoring Supplies: 织花女士伊莎, 铁针莱绅

New Spellthreads:There are four new BoE spellthreads:
强效珠光魔线: Increases Intellect by 285 and Spirit by 165. 1x 帝王丝绸, 575

强效蔚蓝魔线: Increases Intellect by 285 and critical strike by 165. 1x 帝王丝绸, 575

蔚蓝魔线 and 珠光魔线 are weaker versions. They require 540 skill and take 4x 风绒布卷.

Very well put together in my opinion. I like the parts telling where the trainers are. That was the harder part of leveling past 525 was finding the trainers.
