Gear represents one of the most important avenues towards strengthening your Subtlety Rogue by providing the majority of your stats, armor, and other gameplay elements such as procs and set bonuses.

Recommended Gear for Subtlety Rogue in
Gearing and itemization are two of the most important aspects for improving your character. Gear mainly comes from Raids on a weekly lockout, Mythic+ Dungeons, or the Vault System.

In Patch 12.0.5, players will be able to use

to target specific equipment via Bonus Loot rolls. Usable after Midnight Season 1 Raid Bosses, Mythic+ Dungeons, Bountiful Delves, and Nightmare Prey Hunts, this will be a key way to obtain best-in-slot pieces slowly over the rest of the Season.
Using a Bonus Roll after a Mythic+ dungeon will reward an item level equivalent to Great Vault rewards from that Keystone level, making it possible to obtain items at 1/6 Myth from completing dungeons at Keystone level +10 and above.

The main hand weapon is the highest damage increase you can get; it is why we prioritize it. It is recommended to upgrade a mythic track weapon. The crafted weapon is an okay option when bonus rolls are focused on trinkets. The weapon stats are secondary; any mythic track weapon is good.
Active trinkets increase damage during the phase you want it the most, which results in a noticeable gain.

Passive trinkets opt for a consistent damage increase. The best Trinket options are from raid; it is not recommended to use Mythic+ trinkets.

The offhand weapon slot is one of the weakest gear upgrades you can get, and is, for this reason, the last option in your priority.
The trinket has the ideal cooldown; it lines up perfectly with major cooldowns every 90 seconds. Haste allows us to extend

during the runtime. When using this trinket, make sure to use it before
暗影之舞
. The haste effect takes a very short moment to apply, which means it can't be put in a macro with the spell.
This trinket is the best passive trinket option from the raid and goes well in the second trinket slot; it is probably very contested for this reason.
The special effect triggers from Shadow damage. Subtlety is in a unique position with a lot of Shadow damage in its toolkit.
Weapons are always within the strongest upgrades you can get, offering increased auto attack damage and additional damage scaling to abilities.
Mastery is an excellent stat in single-target and multi-target situations; the main downside is the two-minute cooldown timer, which does not line up super well with our major cooldowns.
Is a solid'passive' trinket option from Mythic+.
Alternative to Puzzle box with the same problem of a not ideal cooldown. Both trinkets can be valuable. The puzzle box helps with higher burst damage, while haste trinkets help to extend the burst window slightly. Make sure to use it one second before major cooldowns.
Weapons are among the best upgrades you can get. This dagger comes with ideal stats.
The haste effect is perfect to extend damage during major cooldown, and this trinket comes with the ideal cooldown timing.
The only downside of the trinket is that it needs to be used manually.
You can't macro this Trinket to

The reason for this behaviour is a slightly delayed application of the haste effect.

Is a highly contested passive trinket.
Is a good passive trinket from m+ and competitive to other passive trinkets if you can collect the majority of souls, but requires additional attention and has bad visuals on souls. It can be very hard to utilize the souls on hectic encounters or during bigger pulls in Mythic+ dungeons.
The use effect switches between the two versions of the trinket.
The mastery is extremely good on multiple targets and in Mythic+. However, this trinket has a channel time, making it annoying to use.
Use the trinket before your major cooldowns. This means threading it like it's a 3-minute trinket.
When using this trinket, make sure to use it 1 second before your major cooldowns. This means using it as if it has a 3-minute cooldown. The 1 second is needed to reliably get the duration extension for Shadow Dance.

I'm confused about your M+ list of best item gear. I have been farming shadowmoon burial grounds but some from your list are unfarmable like the neck, cloak, chest piece. All Item drops are from the adventure list in wow. Is this accurate?

from a delve and at least on my sims it's looking strong for a delve trinket. It seems to be missing from your trinket tier list.
