Mainhand Weapon DPS is the single most important stat in the game, and sending your first craft on a weapon is usually a safe bet. However, if you do manage to luck out and get a weapon on your first vaults/mythic clears, you can skip out on this option and go directly into choice number 2.

The main reason we craft boots is just due to the lack of boot options that have ideal stats for us. Again, if you manage to find a high ilvl pair of boots with decentish stats, you can elect to once again skip to the next craft option.

By this point it is likely that you have replaced your crafted weapon and you will want to either recraft it, and remove the embellishment on it, and replace it with this item, with this embellishment instead as it is slightly stronger.

Weapon
Mainhand Weapon DPS is the easiest way to upgrade our damage and should be the first thing you sink crests into.

Strong Trinkets
The best trinkets this tier for us are quite strong, spending crests on trinkets is the next best thing behind a weapon.

High Stat Budget Items
Slots like Shoulder and Chest provide more stats when upgraded when compared to Bracers for example. Sinking Crests into these slots will result in more damage most of the time.

::Edit:: I've found now that I've geared my rogue up (360ish) that as your haste and crit start getting to around the 15% and 25% (haste/crit) marks, Vers becomes a stronger stat per point. Galeforc/crit also sims similar for me at the moment in terms of single target DPS.

How come the weapons in the BiS list aren't crit/haste stat ones? Is there a soft haste/crit cap I don't know about?

um you defiantly want to use before the end of the fight is say about 40 stacks will pretty much get you to 100% crit. correct me if I am wrong but 100% I believe is the cap for crit.

There is a small mistake in the links for the Bis Gear it states that the SinSoaked Waders (boots) are from Mists while they are from Sanguine Depths

I'd really like something here that explicitly states that Outlaw wants a dagger in the offhand, rather than just inferring it by suggesting a weapon that happens to be a dagger in the offhand.

Seal of Filial Duty is literally not bis at all even with it being 405. The stats are terrible and I have simmed it against many of my crit vers rings. A crafted JC 382 ring with a titan training matrix is literally better.

低语化身圣像 should also be put into A tier. It's almost the same as 狼群之饥.
It's even better than HotP, if you have it as DPS and a tank or heal has it, you will get a proc buff for 12 seconds

Why engineering head is not recommended over life-bound cap? Engineering wrists are listed as bis so clearly engineering is assumed as a profession.
Shouldn't another tinker outperform the crit we would have from lw helm? Or at least provide useful enough utility that we would consider giving up the crit?

If you're playing Season 4 DF and reading this, do NOT buy Cataclysmic Signet Brand. It has to be the worst trinket you can possibly get with bullions. The damage it does is so low on both single target and AoE that it's like wearing no trinket at all. Also in M+ the fire damage it does to yourself will break your stealth between pulls and ruin your openers.

I don't know who writes these guides but Wowhead is desperate to make clickbait articles and there is no better clickbait today than "tier lists". This trinket is not S Tier, it's not even C Tier, its vendor trash. Do not waste your bullions on Cataclysmic Signet Brand.

If you go on RaiderIO you will not find a single rogue wearing this trinket because its terribly useless.

Edit: just to clarify on Wowhead the tooltip says this trinket does 971,160 damage over 6 seconds, in-game its actually 18,821 at 528 ilvl, less than 2% of what Wowhead claims.

I don't know what detachable fang is simming for, but with some testing, it does horrid damage and should be pushed off the list to join 老爹的宝贝推杆 to remain in the category of damage proc trinkets that don't scale well or do bad damage.

It seems Blizzard seriously disagrees with the stat priority. All my Hero track (Treasure-Seeker 649) drops so far prioritize Mastery and Haste. And the Tier set (Spectral you can transform your gear does no better. I only have two pieces in my current set with Mastery for a total of +1672, but still end up with a whopping 19% Mastery.

For the corruption - Echoing Void isn't proccing like it should. Pick TwiDev but note that it can hit some mobs elsewhere.

For the belt - if you value stealth stay away from Charged Bolts. It currently breaks stealth.

pspspsps, the Embellishment tab includes the Cinderbee set, which is the Mail Armour embellishments which shouldn't be in the Outlaw Rogue guide. Fury of the Stormrook is the Leather embellished set:

Still a terrible set since we want stable haste for breakpoints instead of small haste procs and bracers aren't itemized for our stats, but it exists. Also no mention of the engineering embellishments, if those matter at all for rogue engineers (or non engineers), but I imagine if they compete at all, it'll be roughly the same impact as elemental focusing lens.

My Sigil of the Cosmic Hunt performs worse than Soulbreaker's Sigil in both single target and cleave. The sims for it are horrifically incorrect, or else there is some sort of interaction I am missing because in heroic progression, a champion Soulbreaker's Sigil outperforms a heroic Sigil of the Cosmic Hunt in almost every single encounter, sometimes being whole number percentages in damage behind. Two elemental focusing lenses outperformed it on one particular pull, while on another it dealt 50% more than the embellishments.

The one time it did significantly better was on Heroic Araz, where it could cleave (though Soulbreaker was providing large vers buffs as well). Shouldn't it be the defacto best single target trinket? Because I'm not seeing it and would love to hear other people's thoughts and experiences.

I can at least confirm Ticking Sack is pulling significantly better numbers as a damage proc trinket. Disappointed this single target trinket was a flop for me though.

Why is Gaze of the Alnseer good? The guide states it's good because it grants a lot of critical strike, which is very good for outlaw rogue, but it doesn't grant any critical strike at all. It grants mastery which is the worst secondary stat for outlaw rogue. It would therefore absolutely not be S-tier for outlaw rogue, right?
