I really wonder why at such a helpfull site as thottbot so many nerts need to be posting nonsense.

1. Onyxia does not require a 40men elite group, 25 decent lvl 60 chars do well - the record is 10 people, 8 if rumors are correct. But if you have about 30 you'll have a smoother run.

2. The halo is undoubtely the best head item for the instance healing priest.

3. Its not a pvp item obviously also the pure stat boni make it far better than most in that matter too.

4. People do roll on the halo because as onyxia is not that difficult groups do pick up ... pickups. And the only fair way of letting them participate on the loot i am awar of is letting them roll again all core memebers having need (if one of them wins they'll decide by the usuall bidding process). People also roll on it to break tie as this is quite likely to be the first drop priests bid for in ony and they'll likely bid all they have which is the same amount of points.

i was doing onyxia today, only 3 priests in the raid. (32 people only.. i think) both the other priests had this already, it droped and i was so happy. i got it for 10 dkp cause even though i won by default(last time a guy used 200 dkp for it).. you still have to pay a minimum of 10 dkp.. it looks so awesome on me!

Well mate, have to say that you've been unlucky. Got my halo tonight and now it's only one priest missing in it our guild.. that's about 8-9 drops..
And yes, we havn't done it more then 12 times..

I have this, and will be putting 預言的光環 enchant on it tonight. That ups it to a whopping +72 healing and 27 stamina, and a bonus 4 mana/5 second. This item is just....godly.

Ya'll sit here and complain about how much warrior stuff drops or how crapy this gear is but i got a little tale for you all.

It started on Jan 30, 2007 (yes some of us are still deticated to the old instances)well we got to the big brutes lair and figured out that something was rong right away; know one could get in her lair.After the GM ticket past problem soved right? Rong we get in,clear the hall, and start the attack,about 2 min in all the eggs start hatching (no one aggroed.)WIPEEEEEEEE.OK still cool GM ticket finally cleared problem solved right? Rong after 4 deep breaths we realized something was rong again but after a 30 min fight she went down. I was master looter. I told the raid in raid warning that she didnt drop anything. But they didnt beleave me so i changed loot to FFA.LET THE WTFs FLY we never did get that GM ticket. So dont complain about what she drops just deal and try again.

Finally got this last night. Took about 4 months for it to drop for me! Also the picture provided by Alla is completely wrong. That looks like a Spellweaver Turban to me.

well techniqually hes more likely gonna survive for longer than us..

1) he doesnt have drakefire amulet because he cant enter UBRS and its too hard for him to complete it

2) even if he did manage to do it.. he cant enter onyxia's lair til lvl 50

Guild just had our first Onyxia kill on our first run there.
I won against the other priest with same dkp.

VERY happy with this, and look forward to collecting the rest of the set when we start BWL :)

It is a lot better to mix 5 prophecy and 3 transcendence not gettin the full of either. Prophecy set bonuses are 30x better than Transcendence. 3 piece of Prophecy is .1 second decrease in flash heal, 5 piece is 2% critical effect chance of holy spells and 3 piece of transcendence is 15% mana regen. If you don't mix them the 8 piece of Prophecy is 25% crit to prayer of healing and Transcendences are 5 piece, free fade when struck in melee and 8, free renew rank 5 when casting a greater heal.... Blizz needs to re-work the high-lvl eq animation models... Most have the same graphics as other eq found in the game which I think sucks. Plus some are just plain ugly.
