Druids Dire bear form multiplies base armour on items by 360%, basically 3.6 (not counting leather patches & enchants) so this is the best AC gear for a druid in the game so far, and not to mention we arleady have high intell and in MC usually just innervate and do little heals but de-curse alot which only costs 60 mana, so overall good for a druid in MC/Onyxia/BWL.

It's a good idea for rogues to get at least 1 piece of the set, for Ragnaros, if you call these "n00b" items, than expect never to be invited for Molten Core.

you guys suck, you dont use this set outside mc or onyxia...get a lvl 60 rogue and try to go to mc, and you will see that this set is REALLY good to have there

If you think this set has no purpose.. 1) you've never been to MC, 2) you're not in a guild capable of MC, 3)you're most likely not 60, and 4) you're probably a Paladin.

MC is all about resistance, as the lack of hp is easily overcome by the ability to resist alot of damage and a high % of attacks. Most of what a rogue gets hit with is AoE spells, a powerful "Fire Shield" type of spell. Or, you might get a Core Hound onto you and have it breath on you. Resists will reduce the damage enough to live, otherwise, no matter how much hp you have, you're pretty much screwed. You really dont need the +agi for MC as a rogue - sure it helps, but you should focus on staying alive before crit. Also a tip, gather gear with +Fire Resist as you find it at endgame, usually no one has a problem with you taking it, and it pays off to not have to farm for it later.

Leather pants with FR are rather rare and it seems that these and BF pants are the only two that go for rogues. Call them noob or not, every rogue still working on MC needs these pants. Once you get Tier 2 your set but untill then a must for the rogues.

If you need these on Blackrock, I'm happy to make them for no cost, just supply mats. Look for Groggo, usually loitering around IF. I can sell to Horde through BB auction house if necessary at cost or pre-determined price.
