if you are wasting Fiery Core for Rep Gain you deserve the retarded price you pay. Do you not get these Items are used to craft EPICS they are not going to be cheap at any point and time...deal with it

these items can only be found by a 40 man raid group of lvl 60's... think about all the time that goes into finding it andyou will realize what an idiot you are for saying they should be so cheap. if you had 40 lvl 60's farming arcane crystal or some essence they would find hundreds of gold per hour worth-the cores are correctly priced

Someone asked about the rarity of these items. Well, ive been on only 2 MC raids.....but im planning on going as much as possible, and 2 lava cores fell the first run, and none fell the second run. I have seen them for sale on Eonar server for about 150g each. If anyone can find them for 50-100g I would jump on it. These items under no circumstances should be given to the Thorium Brotherhood. You only get 200 or so rep points/core, which obviously is not worth it at all.

I wonder how many people actually have the Dark Iron Helm......i believe it requires 4 of the fiery and 2 of the lava.......thats 900g alone for just cores. I think its safe to say i wont be buying these untill i have at least 2000g and my epic mount.

The price on AH is ridiculous for one main reason. The drop is only in Molten Core. On 90% of the servers, only large guilds to MC runs, and I do not believe there will ever be a successful MC PUG. Now, if one of these drops, are you going to sell it, or are you going to keep it in your guild to make items from your guildies? Of course the miniscule quantities that filter through to AH will cost a fortune.

Once more servers and guilds have MC on solid farm status, and there are better items out there than what Fiery Cores make, only then will the price go down.

I would think guilds that have been around a long time give you fiery or lava cores for a small amount of dkp. If you ask me its a lot easier than payings hundreds of gold.

first of... People that have never been 60, or ever been to MC please shut up, it's amuzing, yet sad to hear you talk somehtign about gold farmers and farmng fiery cores.

Fiery cores along with lava cores only drop in MC, with means it takes an orgonized group of 40 lvl 60s to obtain them, ( for rare exeptions when some well skilled guilds farm MC for core leather and cores in as low as 25 man groups)
Pick up raids get prettymuch nowhere in MC, YET sometimes when a pick up raid does get passed the first 2 lava giants, pick up group gets a fiery core.. and what they do with it? well there is no guild bank for it to go to, becasue it's the raid is pick up and consists of people from various guilds. So the only fair way to distribute the core is RR lol. yep raid roll.. /RR
Now a random person that has no ability to Run MC regularly has a single fiery core. Person has no chance getting enough of these to actuly get an item crafted, this single core is pretty much useless to them, exept for it's high AH value. Thats how alot of fiery cores get on AH.
Just about opposite situation in a organized guild raid. since it's a team work of 40 man to obtain these, how do you decide who gets them. RRing these is just madness, becasue then bunch of people that got no intent to get items crafted with them will get it, yet noone will pass becasue of the high value. And that way you get 40 people with 1 core each, that they cant do anything with, so RR is no an option realy. It gets banked, this way instead of giving out 1 peice at a time ,that way is immposible to keep track of who got what when and what are they goign to use it for, are they realy trying to get gear crafted or are they just trying to make quick buck, so you can spend your dkp on the actual item and not bits of matterials for it.
I've heard of some guild giving cores for small almounts of DKP but.. very few guilds do it, becasue it made it simple for alot of people to just go on runs to get these with dpk they got for that run and to sell them.
And thats why it's not the rarety of the drop that makes these valuable, but willinnes of people to sell it, lol some people are more then willing to sell them but are never given a chance. 100g for each of these is not a bad deal at all.

p.s everybody who thinks that there is no need for money after you hit 60 and get you epic mount, shut up, you have no clue. chances are you will spend or will have to spend alot more money if your an active player then you ever had to while lvling. MTs for MC and BWL runs, or just for very active guild have to spend 30+ gold a day in repair, and I know 30g a day isnt alot of money, but this is just onething that you actuly have to spend money on and cant get abound.

Well I don't like paying those prices either. But after around 120g in total repairs for multiple runs into Molten Core to get just ONE of these I understand the price. You can't go into any store and get the top of the line product for the same price as the el cheapo ones! You do get what you pay for! Just keep in mind when you think something is just WAY overpriced, exactly how much time and gold a person has invested just to MAYBE get one of these!

OK, here is what it would cost you in mats to make the Ebon Hand. These were the best prices on each item as of 12/14/05.

Lava Core x8........220G each..........1760gold
Fiery Core x14......250G each..........3500gold
Arcanite Bar x12....27G each...........324gold
Dark Iron Bar x8....10G each...........80gold
Azeroth. Dia. x4....5G each............20gold

Total..................................5684gold

That is one pricey blunt object.

on stormscale can you find fiery core to 50g

and lava core to 60g

if you got a little patience, ofc some try and sell then for a insane amount, but it is possibly to get it a lower cost..

On Uldum they go 250-350 a piece.

I would love to see them at 100-150 and I think I would break my wrist clicking the buyout button if they were 50-60G a piece. The stuff you can craft with these is far superior to any Blue set that you have to run instances a billion times for, and are actually within reach, unlike the PvP epic gear, which is attainable only by people who can PvP 24/7/6 mos straight to reach rank 12+.

Also much easier to obtain than the tier 1 sets which are nice but require a ton of DKP to obtain and of course, for the main pieces, a LOT of running MC to get.

BWL gear is better, but there's not many guilds that are farming BWL, and none on my server to be sure.

On Medivh.. it's probably different.

Still, my only real complaint is that is takes 2400 ore to get to revered with TB, that's really tedious, who wants to totally waste core stuff, blood of the mountain, or Dark Iron for rep? Lame.

For farming fiery/lava/core leather, if you have a well organized group of people, around 20 people in a few pieces of tier 1 is about the minimum you have to meet. This, of course, is impossible for the average tier 0 wearing group.

Also, MC fire resist isn't that demanding until you meet geddon and the lava packs and the only time none melee person that need fire resist is for ragnaros.

And yes, PUG MC is possible, Lucifron is so wimpy that as long as you have a few druid, mage, priest and paladins keep hitting the decurse/cleanse/dispel button you will be fine.

On EU server Perenolde these cores are sold for about 50 to 60g. trust me i know cuz i bought them a few things. 100-200g is ridiculous expensive.

What an absolute load of rubbish - im GM of a guild (currently small -> mid sized 104 members 24 60's last count - so fledgling in terms of raiding)- my officers and I are expected to support all our lower level players - I can make 200 - 500g a Day trading off the AH and never leaving UC so why on earth would I buy gold to get a stock of these. And if any guild is only equiping GM, and Officers who make no contribution - FIND ANOTHER GUILD! u join a guild for community and opportunity NOT to support lazy arse Epic'd Officers - they may lead raids or help organise THAT is a responsibility of their position - if they dont want to do it let them step down I digress...Back to the Cores.....Yes they are expensive - unless you excercise that little known virtue called patience ...... we have just started ZG I Guarauntee by time we hit MC I will have skimmed enough cores to fully equip our MT (out of my pocket not the guilds!), OT & Myself these epics are obtainable by ANYONE who can be bothered to learn the most profitable aspect of the Game Trading (and I dont mean cutting peoples throats by pricing high!)- Im a 60 Lock and Have the Leggings (V Nice lock kit!) - Obviously since 2.0 the PVP kit is more accesible - and prices have dropped - BUY EM now - when they nerf honour again (and im sure they will!) - instant G off AH or bargain Epic equipment (relatively).

On Silvermoon these go for 275g+ each, along with the Lava Cores. In about 5 months I haven't ever seen them cheaper, except for the occasional bulk stack.

I am currently purchasing Fiery Core's at 150g:1 on the Alleria server at a relatively consistent basis. Contact Kerosion or CoD on the alliance side for sales.

Error in the Drop table above. This ONLY drops in Molten Core so dont try to farm Firelords in Searing Gorge. Obviously they got too low level also and arent exactly the same Firelords as inside MC.

The price on these items has dropped massively. I'm picking these suckas up for 20g on Ner'zhul just recently.

Apparently they are dropping a lot in MC now, so the price is plummeting.

So if you see them around cheap, don't go crazy buying them up, cause that's just the normal price.

Eve of Serenity guild's master and his 3 friends who he made officers and in charge of guild bank real purpose is to get as much guild donation and BoE's . Member thinking they are helping the guild are only helping these 4 person ( one of whom's real name is Daryl Molen or Moelern , i dont rember the last name) Scam of converting guild funds into cash. The few of us that brought up about the seemingly unaccounted for Ingots, elementium and core (which we saw in Auction house under a lvl 1 mule) were all booted from the guild for various cover up reasons. They play on 8 other servers as well having set up guilds in those server as well. I have yet to find out the other 3 persons scamming with Daryl. I feel sorry for the genuine officers of Eve of Serenity who unknowingly helping these guys profit .
Beware of EoS doing a Resolution guild break up and selling over 200,000 gold worth of items in Neutral Ah then disappearing

HOW TO OBTAIN Thunderfury, Blessed Blade of the Windseeker

Receive both Bindings of the Windseeker (drop rate: 4,08%) from Garr and Bindings of the Windseeker (drop rate: 4,28%) from Baron Geddon in Molten Core.
Visit Highlord Demitrian in Silithus. He will give you Vessel of Rebirth to start the quest Examine the Vessel which leads to Thunderaan the Windseeker.
Kill Ragnaros for Essence of the Firelord (100% drop rate when you have the quest in your log).
Aquire 10x Elementium Bar.
Bring your guild and head back to Highlord Demitrian. Turn in the quest and he will summon Prince Thunderaan which will drop Dormant Wind Kissed Blade.
Complete Rise, Thunderfury! and you're done!

Mats needed for 10x Smelt Elementium:

100x Arcanite Bar (100x Thorium Bar + 100x Arcane Crystal + 100x Transmute: Arcanite)
10x Elementium Ore (Buy from the Auction House or loot in Blackwing Lair from Blackwing Technician)
