Was looking at this today and My guess is that it is a reference to Tennyson's famous Poem, "The Lady of Shalott". In his poem The Lady is stuck in a castle, and she is unable to look out her window for fear of being cursed. So instead, she uses a mirror to see the world. One of the lines of the poem says that she rests in a tower of this castle, and that the castle has "four gray walls, and four gray towers". Also in the Story, The Lady sees through her mirror the "many towered Camelot", which might be a reference to Orgrimmar, since Orgrimmar has a lot of towers scattered throughout it.

Altough I don't like the model I do really like the fact it's a more original model then all those other shields.

They should reuse some more of those old one time models.

Love this shield. Nothing says "Focus on me" like smacking with a shield that has spikes on its spikes.

If you happen to be an Enchanter and are capped on points, any of the following items are good to buy to simply DE. Even if they implement the Justice Trades Good vendor they are considering, DE'ing one of these items still uses less JP.

The vendor is supposed to sell a shard for 1200 Justice Points. It's useful if you aren't an enchanter, but if you have the skill to Disenchant these, it makes more sense to do so.

That model is, simply put, horrible! THAT is supposed to be the protection of a hero who has saved the world a hundred times and survived the apocalypse...? That model screams to me "Don't buy this crap!" My old shield is pathetic and yet it's way better looking than this one...

If only they would have increased the resolution of (or remade) the texture before reusing this model. I'm fine with it using like 10 polygons since it's supposed to be sharp and all, but pixels aren't pretty.

After all the big fuss made about this shield on WoW Insider today about how "perfect" it is and how awesome it is, I'm wondering if the guy who wrote the article is aware you can get the same model in a green item at Level 12. lawlz.
