For everyoen that can't find him, after you go into the 6 rooms full of bosses, downstairs in the middle of the rooms, he spawn right there.

If u have completed the Kirthonos quest you'll have to get blood at basement (which sucks), but if u havent then its pretty simple, use your blood to summon Kirthonos, kill him and drop quest, go out to Eva (quest giver) and retake the quest, youll have a brand new blood on your inv, reset intance and repeat until u get your valor boots or whatever drops youre looking from him. You wont get credit from the kill if its done in raid, so make sure u drop quest BEFORE talking to Eva if u killed him 5man.

Avoid ninja specced paladins: it saves you time, money, and effort on set pieces runs. Either go with your guild where everyone is experienced and is on the same page when it comes to what classes get priority on what sets, or make sure you are not in a group with a ninja looter. Simple, and it works.

I'd like to address the valor set not being "a good tanking" armor set. On the surface, not have +def and +dodge and parry effects seems to make it less than ideal for tanking. These are important, of course. Valor set instead provides Agility. If you read up on agility, it provides the character with increases to armor, critical chances and dodge chances, as well as ranged attack power. So using the formulas on this very site, I decided to to a calculation of how each set actually affects your combat, changing stats into how they affect your combat skills

Valor: (full set)
agility increases armor by 116. with toughness that brings total armor to 4,167 (+43.1% damage reduction against lvl 60)
agility adds +3% chance to crit
agility adds +3% chance to to dodge
strength adds 400 attack power (about 28 dps)
stamina adds 1,320 hit points
spirit increases hit point regeneration (+35)
+2 damage to attacker when struck
+5 hit points/sec regeneration
1% chance to stun for 1 second

Misc. armor collection as described in post above:
4,558 armor (+45.3% dmg reduction against level 60)
+28 def gives additional 1% to dodge parry and block for a total of 2% parry, 3% dodge, and 1% block
+1% crit
+10 Nature Resistance
strength adds+260 Attack Power (about 18 dps)
spirit increases hit point regeneration (+15)
stamina adds +1,140 hit points

just for comparison's sake, the extra armor on the misc. set provides an extra 2.2% more damage mitigation. The extra hit points on valor provides 12.4% more health. Also consider armor is not a factor against caster classes.

I really do hope that Blizzard makes the valor pieces available only to warriors and the LF pieces available to Pallies only. Im tired of retarded paladin noobs that think that valor is good for them, so they roll against warriors. The valor pieces should be Warrior only, so tanks dont have to worry about stupid paladins who think that they should be able to wear Valor.

As for Valor, c'mon. I love pallies. I love em to death. Half of my raid buddies are pallies. But they're all in lightforge cause they realize that when it boils right down to it; they need their mana. They need a lot of mana. What happens when the health gets low? A heal! Yay!

But if a Paladin in full Valor (no intellect bonuses from the armor set, so not too much intellect there) realizes he needs a heal, he won't have much to run on.

I have a full Valor pally on my server. We like to call him Rezzy. Cause that's all we ever do with him. He runs in, tries to be a tank, and dies. Same thing everytime I get stuck in a raid with him. It's sad, really. Now do I ever see the pallies in full Lightforge running in and dying? Nope. They got the fuel for their heals. If you, as a paladin, want to wear full Valor because of the bonuses and 'tank' stats, go ahead. Protection pallies aren't much when matched up to a Protection warrior. Valor or not. So have fun getting slaughtered.

Finally, it's not only Pallies who take Valor. Valor gauntlets dropped for me for the first time in 10 Baron runs. Hunter takes them. Leader didn't have ML on.

Apparently Valor can be mistaken for Beaststalker gloves, people.

In 1.10, the belt and gloves have been made BoE just like most other sets. Many set parts have been moved to easier bosses (easier to get to, anyway). I can only hope we don't need to get boots from Kirtonos anymore, the bastard.
Best change of all: The set doesn't suck anymore! Hooray!

IMHO, main reason for geting Belt of Valor is not to wear it but to be able to upgrade some Valor peaces to Heroism later since there are blue belts that are much better than Belt of Valor.

Gloves, Boots, Chest and Helm of Heroism are really nice peaces for PvP but to be able to get them you MUST have Belt of Valor before

The lowest price you'll find this in the AH is probably 30 - 40 g, but that would be rare. the tip I give you, is to wait. Just becasue the new patch has come out, doesnt mean you have to get all the gear straight away. Try and get all valor from drops, or your guild, I had gloves of valor sold to me for 1 g, and they are worth 60g +.

Ive done probably 15 baron runs since the 1.10 patch, and had never seen this drop before until last night, when 3 of them dropped IN A ROW on the venom belchers before ramstein. Guess blizzard needs to fix their dice.

This is now a BOE drop. It drops off trash mobs MOSTLY in Stratholme, but occasionally off trash mobs in Blackrock Spire. In 1.10 the Gloves and Belt of Valor were made BOE, instead of BOP, and were changed from boss drops to trash drops.

This post is to answer the question of whether or not people were rumormongering to make gold. That is NOT the case. The gloves and belt, before now, were ALWAYS BOP. Which is why, all of a sudden in the last few weeks, they can now be purchased on the AH.

Confirmed, dropped @ Strat by a patroling Abomination (Scarlet side).
Seems that after 1.10, 3/8 of valor are being dropped @ Strat (belt, legplates, gauntlets).

This is a post I threw up on the Spaulder of Valor thread about a week ago and I think it should be posted on all 8 set piece threads but I'm too lazy to do it. However, this thread seemed to be the longest of any of them so I had to C&P; it here:

The bottom line on whether paladins should be able to roll on Valor set items is easy to determine and it's something I have not seen mentioned on any of the threads for the 8 Valor pieces (although I must admit I have not read every post on all 8 threads). The bottom line is this: The Valor set upgrades into the Heroism set through a series of quests obtained in Orgrimmar if you're Horde and either Ironforge or Stormwind if you're alliance. Paladins CAN NOT receive these quests. If a Paladin goes to get his or her upgrade quest they reveive the quest for the Lightforge set (and I apologize for not knowing what that upgrades to but I'm on Horde side 60 warrior). THAT is the bottom line. Yes, a paladin can equip any of the pieces of the valor set, but they can not get the full usefulness out of them that a warrior can. Therefore, if you are in a group and a piece of Valor armor drops it should go to a warrior first and if none of the warriors present needs it then and ONLY then should a paladin be allowed to roll on it. I'm a 70 tauren druid, and I farm strat when I'm bored in hopes of someday riding an undead horse. Anyway, these belts drop like CANDY off of the abominations right before Baron. I've gotten like 6 so far, once even two in the same run. If you want a belt of valor and have a 70 friend to get it for you, this is definitely where to get it.

Just buy them from the Auction House. They usualy aint cheap but it is easier to buy them than to wait for them to drop.

Of course there are better equipment outh there,
but that doesn't make the valor set "suck". The equipment alone is pretty good(not comparing to sets like Might or Wrath), and the set bonuses are pretty good.

手工精製束腰 you don't want to run LBRS a dozen or more times, then you can get this. UBRS is much more popular, and it takes 10 minutes to kill Anvilcrack.

It's almost as if he lost it. I've run lbrs at least 20 times so far and I have never gotten the belt of valor to drop. I've gotten the valor bracers to drop 3 times and won every time. The belt and every other piece just doesnt want to drop.

I had both this and the Girdle of Uther drop for my level 70 Warrior recently when he was gathering gear for my other charas. WHile I personally believe that the Valor set is a great one for a tank, and had four of the pieces on the Warrior when he was lower in level, I think I'm going to sell this one and keep the Girdle for my Holy Paladin.
The Girdle has 5 fewer AC but can be used a level sooner.
Paladins can actually get something out of Intellect and Spirit, so
Without the other set pieces the Girdle has better stats.

If I was going to spend money on the AH and actively find a group that likes going into Stratholme (which might not be bad for a Paladin, but I'd want some backup!), I might go the other way, but with BC gear there's much less of a reason to get the tier 0 and upgrade to 0.5. So, onto the AH it goes. According to Alla I could probably get more for the Girdle, but I'm keeping it.

If it was me, if rather use the reward for completing Warlord's Command: 歐莫克的瘦身腰帶 than getting the belt. Much better for PvPing. And also, if tanking is your thing, then i think I'd actually end up rather using my 堅實之攫 Which you get as a reward in BRD.

The scourge that is SoD! SoD info is once again being mixed in with Classic Era phase, these do not drop off of the abominations before Ramstein the Gorger.
