Instead of valor bracers, personally I'd use Emberplate armguards of the bear(Incendius).
Put stamina enchant on and voila, you got sweet fire resist bracers.
I have all valor set besides the plate and bracers, and i don't think the last 2 bonuses are worth the last 2 pieces either.
Talking from a defensive warrior PoV.

I been in 2 different UBRS raids these past 3 days
and I have seen these drop 4 times total! (2 in each raid) made me and a couple of guildies hella happy!
now if only that Valor chestplate would be as generous.....

For everyoen that can't find him, after you go into the 6 rooms full of bosses, downstairs in the middle of the rooms, he spawn right there.

If u have completed the Kirthonos quest you'll have to get blood at basement (which sucks), but if u havent then its pretty simple, use your blood to summon Kirthonos, kill him and drop quest, go out to Eva (quest giver) and retake the quest, youll have a brand new blood on your inv, reset intance and repeat until u get your valor boots or whatever drops youre looking from him. You wont get credit from the kill if its done in raid, so make sure u drop quest BEFORE talking to Eva if u killed him 5man.

I was completely lame and bought these off AH for 37g, the chea[est I've ever seen them at. Only reason I could afford them was because i farmed essence of earth for a full day and made nearly 100g. Still, good stuff.

First of all, what many on this thread fail to realize is that a paly is very dependent on his gear to generate any kind of damage in PVE. I got these yesterday as the warriors in the 10-main raid already either had, or had better and had selected greed. The master looter asked who would equip and I said I would and was given them.

I will definitely wear these when I am out solo-grinding, as they were a huge upgrade from my "green" bracers.

Having said that, when I am support healer or main-healer, I will be putting on my "healerdon" +Int gear.

Bottom line, it is totally legitimate for a paly to roll on these if he needs (and the warriors already have!)... those who think otherwise are simply narrow-minded and misinformed (witness the grade school rhetoric above).

pallys, go loot your own lightforge set, dont steal the valor set from the warriors, u guys are useless for tanking anyways. Im glad I play horde, warriors are only horde class that can use them :D

Im lvl 50 right now, and these would defininetely be an upgrade from my first sergeant's plate bracers. Also, not every warrior is a tankin warrior (im fury spec) and i can out dps rogues.

besides, these bracers are lvl 52, the other gear your telling us to get is lvl 60. Big difference!

This is a post I threw up on the Spaulder of Valor thread about a week ago and I think it should be posted on all 8 set piece threads but I'm too lazy to do it. However, this thread seemed to be the longest of any of them so I had to C&P; it here:

The bottom line on whether paladins should be able to roll on Valor set items is easy to determine and it's something I have not seen mentioned on any of the threads for the 8 Valor pieces (although I must admit I have not read every post on all 8 threads). The bottom line is this: The Valor set upgrades into the Heroism set through a series of quests obtained in Orgrimmar if you're Horde and either Ironforge or Stormwind if you're alliance. Paladins CAN NOT receive these quests. If a Paladin goes to get his or her upgrade quest they reveive the quest for the Lightforge set (and I apologize for not knowing what that upgrades to but I'm on Horde side 60 warrior). THAT is the bottom line. Yes, a paladin can equip any of the pieces of the valor set, but they can not get the full usefulness out of them that a warrior can. Therefore, if you are in a group and a piece of Valor armor drops it should go to a warrior first and if none of the warriors present needs it then and ONLY then should a paladin be allowed to roll on it. I'm a lvl 54 dps dual wield Warrior, just got these and gauntlets of Valor - quite happy with them! Gonna get +str on both tonight...

Would love the leggings too, but have just bought abyssal leggings (from a wicked lvl 60 who sold em to me for 30g!), so will lvl to 57 quick to use (until I got enough mats for Titanics)

Also, I hate all the arguing on here - WOW is a team game pure and simple (apart from grinding) and anyone with half a brain can see which gear is meant for which class.

Problem is, lots of players seem to have considerably less than half a brain. And a bad attitude to boot!

What does it -matter-?

Let a Paladin wear Valor, or let a Warrior wear Lightforge, but inevitably, if you seek to upgrade THAT set, you gotta eventually stick to your own class. But really, these things have a decent drop, ain't that tough, so its not like "wtf why u wear thos bracers you stole from a war!" No. In an instance roll, yes, Warrior over Paladin, please. But otherwise, why care?
Good stats help for good leveling, amiright?

This one is just as easy/hard to find as the other BOE set pieces. Shadowcraft Belt drops in UBRS from the Assassins for example.

I was on a LBRS 5man, trying to get my quests done, and these dropped twice. First one the warrior got, obviously, but then when the second one dropped I rolled need on them as well as a Paladin. Should hold me over nice till I can get the Lightforge.

(Also in the same run the Magister's Belt, the Devout Belt, and the Dreadmist Bracers dropped. Quite a run, let me tell you.)

Not to mention this is also the only BoE piece you have to worry about. I'd consider that a double-edged sword because you can't buy the belt and you don't have to put up with the really low drop rate while raiding.
