45.3, 69.1 - so the east side version of behind Mildred.

Being regularly beaten up by a couple of guards.. if you get unlucky he may already be on low enough health that killing won't registered - happened to me - just wait a couple of minutes & he respawns.

Just to clarifiy, Garhal spawns in the FIRST room behind Mildred. He might be dead when you walk past there looking for him, as he was for me but wait for a couple of minutes and he'll be there.

Edit: The big room, not the two tunnels on left and right. (They aren't rooms, i know, but just to clarify even more.)

Kill Garhal is in the room behind Mildred the Cruel, inside Forlorn Mine in Storm Peaks 45,69 entrance at 42,70.

You can just kill Garhal and ignore his guards, once Garhal dies they will despawn.

Something isn't right, Garhal is spawning and immediately fighting with the guards. I believe the last time I did this quest you would need to talk to him to start the fight. As a result it is not possible to get credit for killing him even if you're the first one to tap him.

Edit: Can't be certain what caused it but the next day the problem was fixed.

Helpful hint: If you're a druid, he dies a LOT faster if you click to kitty than if you just use your staff. You won't actually change form, but you'll have your fighting abilities.

It took me five unsuccessful attempts, each with the other guards. Finally, there was one time when he spawned but they hadn't yet, I got my licks in before they did, and THEN I got credit for it.

He immediately fights with the guards. When I got there he was half dead and I didn't get credit for it. But I fought him again after he respawns(which is very fast, like a minute till respawn) and then I got credit for it.

Got the quest, killed Garhal, didn't seem to want to turn in quest, just wants to hit Mildred. Arg.
Have tried logging out/in to no avail, also just now abandoned quest and tried to pick it up again, but it doesn't want to let me do that now!

Any ideas?

I must be feeling kinda odd today. I took great pleasure as a hunter slowly walking up to Garhal all cool-like, and popping the Hunter's Mark on him, then took the 2 point something seconds to shoot him in the head with Aimed Shot... Then stand back and multi shot the lot of them...
