Be sure not to shoot to close to the dismount point or you may find your self up against a few 30k hp wolfs, that can be easy to solo but a pain in the ass.

You have a 'target' that you fire on the giants.
If you don't get all your counts first run, you use "Burst of Speed' next run. easy.

If you don't complete the quest the first time through - as most of us don't - just remount the bear and ride through again.

Do not abandon the quest and restart.

accept the quest and hop on the bear. he will take off (and u can't control him). u do not have to actually kill these mobs to get credit for the quest objectives, just set them on fire by targeting the ground underneath them, kind of like grenades.

don't dismount this bear either. the giants are leets.

something to take note of:

im not sure what caused it (i wasn't paying attention) but one of these elites followed me back to the quest giver and started smacking the taste out of my mouth when the bear disapeared. luckily, im a night elf and was able to use shadowmeld before i died.

just be aware that this can happen.

Do mind that some of the giants and wolfs you shoot at may run after you even after dismounting Icefang, Hits for barley 2k.

I tried spellstealing the Ablaze! buff that you give the mobs. All it does it fear you.

When I turned up to start this quest the questgiver was murdered by a giant, making me wait for her to respawn for about 10 minutes.. -.-
So beware if she dies, go do another quest in the mean time..

ive accepted the q... i jumped on the bear i shot arrows att he giants and frostworgs... they just got feared? i didnt get any kills for them, Nothing.. this happened in the patch of 3.3a... plz help me..

I believe the giants in this quest, the "Niffelem" giants or whatever, have a Biblical reference.

Genesis 6:4
The Nephilim were on the earth in those days—and also afterward—when the sons of God went to the daughters of men and had children by them. They were the heroes of old, men of renown.

(They were giants.)

Nephilim = Niffelem.

Completed the quest (during my second trip on the bear) and thought I would be clever and dismount the bear and use my flying mount to go back to turn in the quest. When I returned to Brijana there was no ? and she was hostile but did not attack. I first tried abandoning the quest which put the ! back over her head but she was still hostile and I could not talk to her. Finally I just logged out and back in and this put her back to normal. So I guess moral: just ride the bear...back.

This quest glitched on me before the turn-in. All the NPC's were red (aggressive to me). I fixed this by flying out of the area to lose my disguise, then flying back in. This reset all the NPC's to green.

I can't finish the quest. I logged out and logged back in and all of the blue people have red names again but I can't kill or talk to them. >.<

Warning to those who can't get the quest to work, make sure you are not in a raid group.

If you log out before completing the quest, the questgiver may turn red to you. She won't attack, but you won't be able to turn the quest in. Simply fly away from the area until your disguise is gone, and then turn around and fly back. Your disguise will re-appear, and you should be able to turn in the quest.

...This quest is fairly simple - speak to Brijana at the bottom of the slope on the east side of the village, get on the bear then fire small aoe at your targets as you ride. The bear steers itself so all you need to worry about is shooting. However, one thing to be careful of is picking up aggro on your return to the questgiver - I discovered that I was being pummeled by an elite giant while trying to accept the quest reward, which was a little distracting.
