I'm pretty certain this is a bit more basic than a South Park reference. There are only tales of Amazons or similar warrior women stealing men in about half a dozen different cultures.

I'm unsure if it was just me and my poor luck, or the way they're currently flagged 'quest item' instead of 'quest (unique 5)'; but I only ever got 1 key at a time no matter how many I killed. After I released a goblin, I would get a key on my next or second next kill.

i am having trouble getting this quest,i am an 80 blood elf paladin am at the said questgiver "Gretchen Fizzlespark" but there is no quest,i have been through my quest log to see if i was further down the chain , but no luck with that, is it possible there is another quest you need to do b4 you can start this chain or is this a bug ? plz help need to start chain :)

Unsure if this is happening to anyone else. But once you acquire a key from the mobs and attempt to gain another one it does not refresh your current amount. Only allowing you to carry one key, but taking any you may pickup along the way.

In order to reach the area needed you will have to fly. Not flying in Northrend yet? No problem, just talk to Honest Max right by the fp to get a loaner flying mount.

You can definitely have more than one key at a time.

It could very well be that this has been hotfixed since I've been through on my mage which wouldn't surprise me, there's been at least 3 serverside hotfixes since I completed this quest.

kinda cool, during this quest chain if you are a druid, you can go flight form but still look like a human so your basically floating...kinda funny looking

This is a must-do quest! It leads to a long, fun and ultimately necessary chain to eventually get rep with sons of holdir. They sell the new shoulder inscriptions, which everyone is going to want to get eventually, so don't pass up this quest.

Do it with Equipment Recovery. Run around Sifreldar Village and kill the Storm Maidens who drop the keys, then unlock the cages and you get the objectives :)

Kill Sifreldar Storm Maiden, Sifreldar Runekeeper for keys which is used for the rescue 6 Goblin Prisoners in The Storm Peaks 40,70 around here.

To anyone who does this quest chain I HIGHLY recommend reading these quests, not just doing their goals. The story/lore of it is superb, and should not be passed up. On top of that you unlock the Sons of Hodir Rep, for shoulder enchants (they are the scryer/aldor equivalent for LK) and other goodies.

My brother Zeev is still up there according to the others. Apparently they have some sort of mine where they make their prisoners work. Go in there and see if you can find out anything.

You need to make sure you pick up the slag covered metal and start the quest like that it begins. you have to kill 10 of the elementals around the anvil, and then turn that in to Thorim too. After that, and the chain up above, you should be in good shape.

Is also NEEDED to get neutral. Not sure if that applies for humans, but it does apply for orcs :)

If you do the first thorim-quest and not that one, you can still use the anvil without killing the elite. He moves away from it every once in a while and leaves only the remnants guarding the anvil :)

Hey guys. I did this long Q, to get the shoulder enchant, and at the end, listening to that big guys story, I got 22k rep with em'. But i'm still hated, halfway in. So what do I do?

As of 3.3, after turning in A Spark of Hope (28600 rep) and Mending Fences (28600 rep) you will end up on 6200/12000 Honored.

This makes the reputation farming to Exalted way much easier, since you only have to work from half Honored to Exalted, instead of Neutral to Exalted as it was before patch 3.3.

For people who can not start the quest:

If you want to grind rep by doing the quest line, but can not get the quest from Gretchen Fizzlespark, this is because you have started this chain quest earlier when you were playing here and then abandoned it somewhere. What you have to do is, visit every person (NPC) who gives the quests in the chain. You will see the ! sign on the NPC who will give you the next step of this chain quest when you visit him/her.

I spent 3 hours thinking what the problem might be and then i found this solution. (I found out that I abandoned the chain quest at the 7th part and picked up from where I left off.)

so i think i did some of the chain to unlock SOH so i went back to all npc's to see if i can pick it up again and no npc is around to give me a quest so i got hodir badges thinking it will unlock the quartermaster and nope nada so now i am friendly with no quartermaster and i know i need to do some of the chain still but went through the hole chain that someone link and went to the npc's and nothing is there can someone please help just trying to get the shoulder chant thank you :)

I finished this quest chain with Mending Fences only to be told I was now hated with Sons of Hodir. I tried googling for help, but no-one had a straight answer they all wanted to talk about how much they own, or how easy it was blah blah YAWN!

Anyway, if you are like me and have finished the chain and are hated, then don't worry because it's only something you missed. There is an additional quest you must do which is found, ironically enough, when you are doing part of the actual quest chain.

Whilst killing Stormforged Iron Giants, one of them will drop an item called Slag Covered Metal. If you do not have this in your bag, then go kill more giants until you do. This item begins a quest called The Refiner's Fire and is the beginning of a two quest chain of its own.

The Refiner's Fire quest starts with the Slag Covered Metal and ends at Fjorn's Anvil. Once completed you will be given the second quest in the line which is called A Spark of Hope. All you have to do for this is fly back to Thorim and turn it in.

If you are hated, like I was, completing this chain will bump you straight to honored with Sons of Hodir.

Kill the Sifreldar npcs for the keys to unlock the goblin prisoners. One key for each cage.
Do this quest with 'Equipment Recovery'. You'll find the crates of equipment lying about the villagw.

... anything north of K3 requires a flying mount and cold weather training. I'm sorry, the quest rewards in WotLK have been sucky for a hunter, and I'm not going to shell out 2k in gold just so I can vendor more quest rewards.

They looked like vrykul, except their skin was blue and layered with frost... and they were all female! They took all the men in the expedition and let us women go. Please, <name>! We think they're being held in Sifreldar, the village overlooking K3.
