This is one of the new Heirloom Items introduced in World of Warcraft: Cataclysm. The whereabouts of Heirloom Rings is currently Unknown but most likely will be made available through random profession dailies luck. I feel safe enough saying this since our last Heirloom ring was available from Fishing.

The following Heirlooms are unlockable through the Guild system:

Patch 4.1 Additions
The first Major patch of World of Warcraft: Cataclysm introduced new Heirloom items that were created to help Plate classes obtain the necessary defensive stats to properly Tank dungeons.

For players interested in obtaining the many Heirloom that are available, below is a table of how they can be obtained and the price associated with each one.

My apologies for some inaccurate information previously. This comment was made during the Cataclysm Beta and I just never got around to updating it. Prices have been fixed and it now looks sexier then ever.

Patch 4.1 Heirloom Update
All Heirloom items have had their bindings changed to bind to a single Battle.Net account instead of a World of Warcraft account. This change will let you transfer your items across factions, realms and even the other active World of Warcraft accounts on your Battle.Net Account.

Blizzard has also implemented Tanking Heirlooms with Patch 4.1. Please see above for their names! Links will not be live until the data is merged to the main Wowhead site.

He didn't just neglect the Arco d'Ossa Antico dell'Ammaliamento from the list knightwulf. He didn't include any weapons on the set list for any class.

Weapon Heirlooms do not give an increase to experience, thus they are not listed.

This is taken directly from the 4.1 patch notes on battle.net:

"Please note that in order to mail a Battle.net Account Bound item, the recipient must still be on the same realm as the sending character."

Which sucks, but is different then what I'm seeing on Wowhead.

According to Blizz, "the maximum increase (in experience) you can receive at any given time is 300% —triple the normal amount."

The heirloom bonus does stack with the triple-XP bonus that you get if you link accounts ("refer-a-friend"). And, from what I can see, it does stack multiplicatively -- which means that you can get more than 450% total bonus if you stack a full heirloom set with the refer-a-friend bonus.

I have run with a friend with whom I had linked accounts, with a set of heirlooms granting me a 35% bonus. This resulted in me levelling 35% faster than my friend (he started with a lead in XP at level 32, and after our session I was more than one level ahead at 39; we ran two instances together and did the same dungeon quests). In other words, he got 300% and I got more than 400%, NOT 335%. At least this is what we could observe. It would be nice if somebody else could confirm or deny this.

So the statement from Blizzard above apparently is not true, it's either a bug or intended behaviour.

It seems this is now available somewhere in Cata. At least it is now in the Collection. Don't know where to get this however.

Currently visible in the heirloom tab on Cataclysm Classic beta, but this is likely a bug. These rings were datamined back in 2010, but have never been made available in the retail game to this day (the WoD shipyard rings were added instead several years later).
