Follower Dungeons Will Launch with a 10 Dungeon Daily Limit

With Follower Dungeons arriving next week in the Seeds of Renewal content update, we’ve added some precautionary measures for the feature’s initial release to help ensure a smooth experience for all players. The initial limit will be that a maximum of 10 Follower Dungeons can be started per day per account.Note that a Follower Dungeon, which can only be run at Normal difficulty, will be considered as ‘started’ once the instance is created and that regular non-Follower dungeons with players will not be impacted by this limit.We will actively monitor the impact of this feature once it’s live in all regions and look into adjusting the limit at some point in the future. As I believe it's only normal level dungeons anyway. The occasional nine year old on their own account might complain but oh well I suppose. Our son has his own account and is too scared to pvp, and even for his regular dungeons we tank and heal so nobody even notices he's not helping much. So there will be a lot of system usage and this is just to help the initial launch. Very sensible and a good approach.

I wouldn’t even be annoyed if they limited it to a “per character per day” limit. Run 10 follower dungeons max per character per day. If you want to do more then run them in the LFG tool and get used to running dungeons with people.

I would really like to see this expand to legacy content. Especially raids. Some require multiple people still and it would be nice to have the followers do the mundane tasks and to leave the player to do the specific mechanics, such as Eonar in Antorus. Let the followers run around and take “initial threat” off the mechs and the player has to come and finish it off or something like that. Just to get that time between running in the ship and blowing the crystals to flying to the top of the map etc.

Seems super limited, so i bet it's something that is popular for a week or two and then people will get bored with it.
