I really hope blizzard rewamps the whole black market auctionhouse at some point. Make it region wide, and let's say 10 people can get one item, figure out how someway.
to get brutosaur just:
Are you aware that in order to buy solo a bruto on BMAH you are literally fighting against all boosting communities? They are literally getting paid for securing people the purchase. I have no clue how they exactly work as I'm not interested in that mount but they seem to be pretty good at getting it to people... when you try solo - you are lost - and this articlue makes people think they do have a chance. It's you versus a corporation
Re Brutosaurus:Despite being a Brutosaurus owner since BfA, I had a similar problem since I wanted to get the Swift Zulian Tiger, which also tends to get gold-capped within minutes. Some pieces of advice:1. Owning multiple WoW accounts under a single Bnet account makes things a lot easier.2. You can actually view (but not bid in) the BMAH on low level characters by talking to Steelsage Gao in Waking Shores (Steelsage Gao).3. I picked several low pop realms from https://raider.io/realms/us / https://raider.io/realms/eu - If realms are grouped together that means that they share a BMAH. On my second account I created one character per realm - for most realms this was a Level 10 char which I flew with my main (first account) to Steelsage Gao (enable ride-along feature at the Dragonriding trainer in Valdrakken). Some realms had a level 70 char which I parked at the Valdrakken BMAH. I also bought a level 70 boost on this account. Next, on my first account I sent 9.9m gold to a char which I parked at the Valdrakken BMAH, too. Every night shortly before new auctions would appear, I logged into this gold toon on my first account, then used my second account to cycle between the chars parked at Steelsage Gao. The basic idea was to use the pending level boost on any char that saw the mount, then fly it to the Valdrakken BMAH, trade the gold from my gold char, then bid on the mount. I’m actually not sure if this would have been fast enough, but in the end I got lucky and saw the mount on a low-pop RP realm where I already had a level 70 char (so I only needed to invite my gold char and trade gold). I gold-capped the Tiger in under two minutes.4. I saw other people do something similar. Their setup was a bit smarter since they used level 10 Vulperas to scout the BMAH in Waking Shores, whose racial allowed them to log out immediately right before the BMAH NPC (I always wasted several seconds per char to bring them to the nearby inn).5. Good luck and happy hunting! In total I watched the BMAH on 26 realms for almost three weeks. In this timespan I saw three Swift Zulian Tigers and one Brutosaurus (all of which got gold capped within the first few minutes). I was incredibly lucky since I got the Tiger two days after I actually hit gold cap.
As an owner of the Mighty Caravan Brutosaur and having helped out three others purchase it before the mount's removal from the vendor: I could not care less if Blizzard re-added it (and even at the same price). It was stupid to remove it because "pReSTiGe" and all it did was screw over those who hadn't benefited from the largesse that were the WoD and Legion mission tables. Talk about actual elitism...
I'm so fortunate that I managed to get my Brutosaur mount for 5 million gold back in BFA right before I decided to take my five year break from the game. I feel sorry for the poor saps who not only have to pay gold cap for this thing but are fighting to even get a chance to bid on it.
They should just bring back brutosaur once a year for a few days for 10 million gold.
Just dont understand.....keeping spider mount gold sink from legion till now and remove brutosaur after one expansion. Give us bruto model, can be even without special vendor to just buy it for that 5mil gold or even less cause no ah vendor... What is hard with that
I think it should stay extremely hard to get. If you didn't buy one in BFA, at least you have a chance to get one. Yes, this is coming from someone that was in super goblin mode during BFA and bought one around 1 month before Shadowlands released (for some reason I was holding off until the end was truly near). I like things being rare and hard to get but not impossible if you missed out (meaning I like what Blizzard did with it).
leave the bruto off.... this game has almost zero items to show off anymore. mythic gear and appearances are given away like candy. mounts come back as recolors all the time, and the bruto is one of the last items that have that proud factor of "hey, here's my bruto AH mount i worked really hard for in the @#$%ties xpac alive"
