At this time you can only battle the trainers once per day. EK has to be done on an Alliance character and Kalimdor on a horde character. Being in a raid group doesn't work and you cannot abandon the quest after "completion" - therefore this Family Battler achievement will take you a minimum of 10 days/resets to do.

Beast

For all EK, Kalimdor and Northrend Family Battlers - Beast I used the same team

Infernal Pyreclaw P/B (Adrenaline Rush, Cleave, Great Sting)
Zandalari Anklerender P/S (Bite, Primal Cry, Black Claw)
Tarachnid Stalker (or any Spider) S/S (strike, Brittle Webbing, Spiderling Swarm)

I kept Great Sting up as much as possible, spammed Cleave. If Pyreclaw died I brought in Ankle render and prioritized Primal Cry. I used Tarachnid Stalker / Spider to absorb high damage 2 round ability hits such as Fly, Burrow and Dragon Breaths as well as using Brittle Webbing + Spiderling Swarm together.

Did the full sweep today. Anyone else experience this?

Horde in Kalimdor - got no credit for Zunta & Merda Stronghoof.
Alliance in Eastern Kingdoms - got no credit for Eric Davidson.

I used all beast pets. No clue why I didn't get credit, but if I have 10 more days of this... Did I kill them too fast? or need to swap pets so they all tag?

Critter

For all EK, Kalimdor and Northrend Family Battlers - Critter I used the same team

Damp Skrat B/B (Barbed Stinger, Nibble, Great Sting)
Lovebird Hatchling S/S (Alpha Strike, Lovestruck, Pheromones)
Perky Pug P/S (Bite, Buried Treasure, Trample)

I started out with Great Sting, then swapped to Lovebird to use Pheromones - using these two abilities as much as possible. Use Lovestruck and Nibble to last longer and let the DoTs do more damage. Perky Pug can be brought in to clean up and heal itself.

The only one i struggled with was Major Payne, I brought out Lovebird First instead and used Pheromones, then immediately stunned it - keeping the enemy Bear pet in the backline as much as I could.

Undead

For all EK, Kalimdor and Northrend Family Battlers - Undead I used the same team

Blightbreath (Dreaful Breath, Any, Acid Rain)
Fragment of Anger (Seethe, Spiritfire Beam, Soulrush)
Zomstrok (Infected Claw, Any, Carpnado)

I used Acid Rain into Dreadful Breath as much as possible. When Blightbreath died, I used Spiritfire Beam, then Soulrush > Seethe. When Fragment of Anger died, I used Carpnado to clean up whatever was left. Most of the time I didn't need the Zomstrok.

When I vs'd Major Payne, I started with Zomstrok instead then immediately swapped to Blightbreath once stunned. Focus all your big damage abilities on the bear.

Aquatic

For all EK, Kalimdor and Northrend Family Battlers - Aquatic I used the same team

Snarly (Rip, Surge, Blood in the Water)
Toothy (Rip, Surge, Blood in the Water)
Muckbreath (Rip, Surge, Blood in the Water)

Pretty simple, just maintained Rip, used Blood in the Water as much as possible and Surge in between.

The NPC's for the Family Battler of Kalimdor achievement can be found in the following locations from the north to south:
It doesn't seem that besides going up to level 25 there are any changes to the pets. Zunta still uses two pets which are both common in rarity when engaged with a full level 25 team.

Note:
The battles are daily, this means that to complete the meta you will need to revisit the trainers for a total of 10 days.
And to avoid anything not completing it seem it is best to complete these on a Horde character.

Elena Flutterfly in Moonglade. Her pets are Magic - Flying - Dragonkin.
Stone Cold Trixy in Winterspring. Her pets are Flying - Beast - Dragonkin.
Zoltan in Felwood. His pets are Magic - Mechanical - Magic.
Analynn in Ashenvale. Her pets are Flying - Aquatic - Critter.
Zunta in Durotar seems to be using only a Critter - Beast pet.(sadly a big jump across the map. You can also decide to take this one first or last in the route.)
Dagra the Fierce in Northern Barrens. Her pets are Beast - Beast - Critter.
Zonya the Sadist in Stonetalon Mountains. Her pets are also Beast - Beast - Critter.
Merda Stronghoof in Desolace. Her pets are Elemetal - Aquatic - Critter.
Traitor Gluk in Feralas. His pets are Dragonkin - Critter - Beast.
Cassandra Kaboom in Southern Barrens. She uses 3 Mechanical pets.
Kela Grimtotem in Thousand Needles. Her pets are Beast - Beast - Critter.
Grazzle the Great in Dustwallow Marsh. He uses 3 Dragonkin pets.

Dragonkin

For all EK, Kalimdor and Northrend Family Battlers - Dragonkin I used the same team

Nexus Whelpling (Frost Breath, Mana Surge, Arcane Storm)
Twilight Clutch Sister (Twilight Fire, Phase Shift, Twilight Meteorite)
Emerald Proto-Whelp (Emerald Bite, Emerald Presence, Emerald Dream)

Prioritize Arcane Storm > Mana Surge. When your Nexus Whelpling dies, bring out Twilight Clutch-Sister and use Twilight Fire until the enemy pet is below 50% and the Dragonkin passive is activated. Use Twilight Meteorite with the passive up. Clean up with Emerald Proto-Whelp.

Elemental

For all EK, Kalimdor and Northrend Family Battlers - Elemental I used the same team

Sophic Amalgamation P/S (Blinkstrike, Wild Magic, Illuminate)
Fel Flame H/S (Burn, Scorched Earth, Conflagrate)
Tide Spirit (Chop, Surge, Blood in the Water)

Kept Wild Magic up on all pets and used Illuminate on CD > Blinkstrike. Bring in Tide Spirit if the enemy is low (to Surge to death) or Fel Flame. Use Scorched Earth + Conflagrate and Chop + Blood in the Water for big damage.

There were two fights i struggled with but was successful in the end. You could always swap out to different Elemental pets but here's how to do it with the same team:

Okrut in Dragonflight - had to start with Tide Spirit instead and use Sophic Amalgamation 2nd. May have to restart a few times to get good RNG with the first pet.

Major Payne - Begin the fight with Fel Flame. Restart if stunned. Scorched Earth, spam Burn until Grizzle half health. When under half health, Conflagrate. Continue to use Scorched Earth > Burn. Continue with Sophic Amalgamation but do not use Illuminate as you do not want it up for Bloom.

Flying

For all EK, Kalimdor and Northrend Family Battlers - Flying I used the same team

Gorm Rootstinger P/S (Enrage, Great Sting, Puncture Wound)
Gorm Harrier P/P (Enrage, Impale, Great Sting)
Gorm Needler H/P (Impale, Great Sting, Puncture Wound)

Start out with Great Sting, Enrage, Puncture Wound. Swap to Gorm Harrier - use Great Sting, Enrage and Impale. Swap to the last Gorm Needler if needed to clean up / continue applying Great Sting.

Is anyone else having issues with Kalimdor? I've taken multiple characters to the area. No daily quests are showing. When I interact with the NPC, I get no option for a pet battle.

Seems like because I used Alliance characters on the other two areas, I was forced to use a Horde character in Kalimdor.

Humanoid

For all EK, Kalimdor and Northrend Family Battlers - Humanoid I used the same team

Void-Scarred Anubisath H/H (Spiritfire Bolt, Soulrush, Creeping Insanity)
Father Winter's Helper B/B (Ice Lane, Call Blizzard, Ice Tomb)
Winter's Little Helper B/B (Ice Lane, Call Blizzard, Ice Tomb)

I used Creeping Insanity, Soulrush, then would swap to Father Winter's Helper and use Blizzard / Ice Tomb depending on the health or the enemy pet (if it was an Undead pet for example, I might use Ice Tomb). Keep Blizzard up and use Ice Lance.

To be entirely clear about the daily quests associated with each tamer :

- You cannot battle a tamer without taking their daily quest
- Each daily quest is warband-wide
- You must turn in the daily quest once completed. If you do not turn in the daily prior to the next daily reset, you will remain ineligible to fight until the next reset after the daily is turned in
- Once you complete a fight on one toon, all other toons become ineligible until the next daily reset after quest turn-in
- The dailies cannot be abandoned via the UI or macros
- Party Sync does not work around the daily lock

In other words, it takes a minimum of 10 days to complete this achievement, and there is no way at all around it unfortunately.

Magic

For all EK, Kalimdor and Northrend Family Battlers - Magic I used the same team

For most fights:

Energized Manafiend S/S (Arcane Blast, Amplify Magic, Arcane Storm)
Servant of Demidos P/P (Magic Sword, Siphon Anima, Soulrush)
Salverun B/B (Shadowslash, Surge of Power, Shadowmeld)

My general strategy was to Amplify Magic, Arcane Storm then spam Arcane Explosion. Bring out Demidos and Soulrush, Heal when needed + Sword. Use Salverun to Shadowmeld + Surge of Power any leftover pets.

I had to make alterations to my teams for these trainers:

Okrut - Had to change Energized Manafiends abilities to Arcane Blast, Surge of Power, Evanescence. Start with Salverun, Shadowmeld + Surge of Power (swap to Energized Manafiend before Salverun dies, keep it alive). Arcane Blast and use Evanescence to dodge Ice Tomb. Use Surge of Power when Sleet is in range of dying from it. Swap to Salverun when Energised Manafiend dies and Surge of Power immediately (if in range of enemy pet dying). Finish off with Servant of Demidos, healing after using Soulrush.

Nearly Headless Jacob - Had to change Energized Manafiends abilities to Arcane Blast, Surge of Power, Evanescence. Use Evanesence on Turn 3, save Surge of Power for Stitch

Major Payne - Had to change Energized Manafiends abilities to Arcane Blast, Surge of Power, Evanescence + Servant of Demidos to Lightning Shield. - Spam Arcane Blast until Grizzle is in Surge of Power Range and use it. If you lived, use Evanescence and continue to Surge of Power. Bring in Demidos, use Lightning Shield / heal. Use Salverun to finish off any pets and Shadowmeld + Surge of Power.

You can make some of these Northrend Trainers a lot easier with other pets being substituted. I wrote this strategy keeping in mind those with a limited roster or wanting to only use one team. (##RESPBREAK##)

Mechanical

For all EK, Kalimdor and Northrend Family Battlers - Mechical I used the same team

Iron Starlette P/P (Wind-up, Powerball, Supercharge)
Microbot 8D H/H (Missile, Supercharge, Ion Cannon)
Microbot XD H/P (Alert!, Supercharge, Ion Cannon)

General strategy is to Wind-up, Supercharge, Wind-up with Starlette and fill with Powerball. Supercharge + Ion Cannon with the other two pets filling with other abilites when needed.

You should restart if your combo is interrupted by any means (such as enemy pets flying up or burrowing). Also be aware that against Magic Pets their passive will stop you from one shotting - avoid using Supercharge.

Major Payne: (Restart if stunned) Bring out Microbot XD first. Supercharge + Ion Cannon. Alert! Until Microbot XD dies. Bring in Microbot 8D. Supercharge + Ion Cannon. Missile until Microbot 8D dies. Wind-up + Supercharge + Wind-up and Powerball until you win. A bit RNG as you need Bloom to not attack you much in the last part.

Nearly Headless Jacob: Start with Microbot XD and Supercharge + Ion Cannon. It will be swapped out anyway.

If you did this in the same order as me this is your last one, grats :)

For Magic:

Triple Anomalus makes easy work of all Kalimdor trainers. Make sure they all have Void Nova and Poison Protocol, and keep Poison/Void on CD across them all (swap them to keep up Void/Poison).

So far I have put in a ticket for:

1) not receiving credit on my Fliers team for Zoltan in Kalimdor;
2) not receiving credit for my Humanoids for Cassandra Kaboom in Kalimdor;

Will add to this list (it looks like) again tomorrow - my suggestion at this point if you're running into any glitches with getting credit is to SUBMIT A TICKET - if they get more than 12 tickets, they are likely to fix it > ;)

My "end game" will be to circle back around after I have "finished" all the families and spend a day doing each missing tamer+class combo AGAIN to see if credit will pop . . . sloppy technicals Blizz-Fam, ya'll are better than that.

I can confirm that if you don't kill the trainers with full 3/3 team of alive pets, you won't get any reward for the achievement.

You have to use your spell

or and have all 3 pets alieve before you start the battle.
