The Icy Veins raid walk-through suggests that this is avoidable. Does anyone know how? Jump or turn away mechanic perhaps? I didn't seem to get either to work, but I might have done it wrong.

Edit: I have learned (but not personally confirmed) that this spell as well as the Piercing Corruption spell can be reflected. Apparently, it is best to use mass spell reflect for piercing corruption (since it has a shorter cast time), and spell reflect for this attack. This should hopefully make it a little easier to consistently survive this test as a warrior tank.

Re-edit: I've now had a chance to confirm, but the result is that it is, in fact, NOT reflectable. Apparently, you just reflect/interrupt hurl, shield barrier for Burst, and shield block for Pierce.

I hate this test. It reminds me of the sequences in BF3/Uncharted/Tomb Raider where you have a second to hit a specific button, I always sucked at those :(

This seems like it would be trivialized if warriors had a decent self heal. Blood DK self heals? Word of Glory? Enraged regeneration? Expel Harm/Healing Spheres? Ugh, I'd give my 5.4 buffs for any one of those things during this fight. All I get is victory rush, which is pretty pathetic, and a really long CD.

Burst of Corruption - Absorb or Heal.
Piercing Corruption - Block or Dodge.
Hurl Corruption - Interrupt or Reflect.

I'm pretty sure it cannot be avoided and is just straight AOE damage; while Icy Veins states it's a ground attack I have never seen any kind of visual indicating it; I think it's an explosion/burst type attack. I usually pop a cooldown when it comes out and that seems to let me survive through it (e.g. as a Prot Pally I use Divine Protection, unglyphed, for 40% reduction).
