Stand opposite the direction you want the Argali to go

Honestly just skip this one. The animals dont respond to you very well, when they do they're slow, they sometimes disappear, and are surrounded by relatively strong mobs. Frustrating quest.

So you basically walk up and stand almost on top of the Argali. He'll turn and face you for a couple of seconds. Make sure you're standing the direct opposite of the way you want him to go.

A couple of seconds after he faces you, he'll turn and run a few steps directly away from you. Reposition yourself to try and path him away from mobs (unless you wanna fight them).

Keep doing this until you've 'pushed' him back to the shepherd that gives you the quest. A little annoying but works OK once you get the hang of it.

I would rather feed these buffed up sheep to my new dragon companion than do this quest. That or at least let our dragons pick them up and drop them for maximum efficiency.

if you're a stealth class, the sheep will react to you while you're stealthed. However, the idiot dog won't stealth with you

Blizzard gives us a pet to go around with on some of these quests, why not let us run as the pet to scare these into the pen? this way takes longer than a raid and feels like beating your head against a wall

Pretty bad quest, one of those you'll possible do once and never want to touch again as the time it takes to do it, isn't worth it.

- Mobs you are supposed to heard are unresponsive 90% of the time.
- The "Pet" you get is largely useless
- Its not clear at first where you are to heard the sheep too.
- Aggro mobs due to make things worse.

This quest is $%^&*!ed.. not only that it's hard to herd them in the right direction, and they are super slow, but after managing to get 2 of them to the right place, there was no third for over 5 minutes.

Still waiting for it to show up :(

I present You Daily Quest Bakar Dream of Lost Argali. You can do it when Aylaag Camp is up 55.5 52.1 in Ohn'ahran Plains to get reputation for Maruuk Centaur.

In This Quest you need to do ,,,,,,,, Push 3 Wandering Argali to Aylaag Shepherd 54.6 52.3. To force Wandering Argali to move you need to stand behind them xD care some mobs can attack you.

Don't forget to go around trees and other objects Wandering Argali can't jump or go around xD.

Location of 3 Wandering Argali:

/way 53.2 49.7

Like some other comments said, I was waiting for the 3rd Argali to show up in the northwest part of the quest area. I waited...and waited...got some skinning done, thought for sure I would have to submit a bug report. It suddenly occurred to me the quest area extends all the way to a point in the southeast. I flew over there and uh, yeah, that's where the 3rd Argali is. So if you can only see two where Ayanga is, the 3rd one is probably down to the southeast. What a derp moment.

That being said, I'd still skip this quest just for the amount of time it takes for little reward.

You can't use stealth while doing this quest, but you CAN use dragonriding. I slammed down behind the sheep, waited for it to get moving - and then did a Skyward Ascent circle swoop. Enough to loose aggro of the mobs - then slam back down behind the sheep. Still an annoying quest, but at least less lethal.

Honestly, I don't think this was as bad as some people think it is. First off, you're going to have to clear at least a few mobs. Secondly, while the sheep is slow its pretty predictable if you do it right. Run up to it from the opposite side you want it to go and stop and wait a second. It will turn to face you then run off a ways. I always waited until it stopped then ran up to it again. It slowly turns around and runs off a ways. Rinse and repeat.

Garbage quest overall.
For those who want to do it: find the sheep out in the field and approach them from behind the direction you want them to run. Stand there and the sheep will slowly look at you, turn around, then move just a few feet forward. They're slow and each movement takes around 5-10 seconds to complete.

There's a trick to this: you can't just rush the argali and expect it to go where you want. You have to stay a couple paces back while it's moving, and then when it stops, it will turn to face you. Then you move towards it, and it will run away. If you're on top of it when it turns to face you, it won't register your position. Stay back. Once you get the hang of it, this quest isn't that bad.

Remember to read the quest on this one. Do not bring them to the questgiver. It says "return to heard" too. So tried that and it worked. After that the quest got harder but yeah agree that they are very sloooow :)

Its kinda buggy. What helped for me is to stand in front of him and pushing the up-and-down-key multiple times. The lost animal will go eventually.

Ok so now only have to get one. I couldn't figure out why the daxx sheep in the circles wouldn't go to the guy who gave me the quest. DUH, that was ass backwards. You need to find the one sheep that is wandering around with all the big things that want to kill you and herd him back to the sheep in the circles. Once I figured that out it was a piece of cake.

Ok, this quest isn't working for me.

Tried half an hour, can't get the idea that there is *any* response. I'm probably doing it wrong.... but since there is no response from the game whatsoever, there's nothing I can do to improve. I don't know what I'm supposed to be doing & above descriptions aren't giving any visible results either. So, I'll look at this again in some 6 months from now.

The quest is counter intuitive. You kite the little guys to the gold rings not FROM the gold rings. I went to

/way 55.17 50.24

and kited one in very easily.

I don't know why the top comments don't mention this but you are looking for WANDERING Argali, not domesticated Argali. You can find them among all the Thunderspines further away from the quest giver. Direct one of the Wandering Argalis towards the circles and you'll be able to complete the quest.

Quest text says, "Aylaag Shepherd spoken with" to show what I should do next, but when I talk to a shepherd, they tell me to take a bakar and use it to herd the argali. But I can't find the bakar? Am I just missing something?*
*Edited: After I completed the rest of the dailies in this area, I got this to work for me.

Contrary to what some are saying, you do not need to turn your back to direct them. Get on the opposite side on a Wandering Argali facing towards the herding area, get his attention and wait for him to turn around.

for me usually it works more or less as it should. Once in a while. when you get opposite of the direction you want it to go, nothing happens. Have to back off and re-approach. Today, it went off in weird angles, sometimes towards me, really strange. Took about half again as long.

Description
