Description

People don't just come to the faire for fun and fortunes, <name>. Most want something to take home with them, so I help to create the magical trinkets visitors purchase with their prize tickets.

For that, I need a steady supply of soothsayer's dust. Take a look around the grounds and you'll see a lot of discarded weapons. Those are just the kinds of items that can be broken down into dust with enchanting skills like yours. Would you like to help?

You find the Discarded Weapon in little rubbish piles around the faire grounds. You can't actually use your Disenchant ability on the items. Just right click to use them and it will turn them into the Soothsayer's Dust that you need.

One of the new patch 4.3 Darkmoon Faire profession quests, you must have at least 75 skill in Enchanting to see this quest.

This quest requires no additional items, you do not use your disenchanting skill but simply right-click the Discarded Weapons you collect.

The profession quests can only be completed once during each Darkmoon Faire and will grant 5 skill points.

The nearest vendors to the Darkmoon Faire portals are Kuruk (H), Innkeeper Farley (A) for the Moonberry Juice and Shadi Mistrunner (H), Tharynn Bouden (A) for all the other trade goods. You'll have to collect the fossil fragments yourself. If you forgot to bring your fishing rod with you, Tatia Brine on Darkmoon Island sells fishing supplies.

Well, it was pretty easy to find them as soon as i found the first one. Just go close to the bay (but not on the beach) and you will find your first item :)

These quests can be completed every month

Even if you done the primary profession quests that week, if you drop a profession during Darkmoon Faire week, you can do the quests for the profession that you pick up as well. Even rewarding the achievement Faire Favors without completing one of the secondary skill quests such as Archaeology or Fishing.

Possibly means that if your toon has no professions you could conceivably do the quest for every primary profession each month, awarding you with 36 Darkmoon Prize Tickets instead of just 8. (Assuming you're willing to get each profession to 75 and really really want the tickets right meow.)

I found them all on the boardwalk at the edge of the water, and yes they sparkle just like regular quest items. Just right-click them in your bags and they turn into the dust you need!

It wont let me disenchant the discarded weapons and im like level 200 enchanting.
