When he uses Fel Bargain, I tend to let him cast it and keep it. He does not hit that hard so 50% is not big deal, but he does burn away 1% health per second. At 2kk health, it's 20k damage per second.

As a warlock with a 679 gear score he is easily solo-able. But be warned that the trash around him has a relatively fast respawn rate.

Probably the easiest rare elite of all, because Fel Bargain burns 1% of his health every 1 seconds.

Im here just to say most people should know by now, but maybe some dont.

"Rare is not there? Realm Hop!"

Hit "I" on your keyboard > Premade Groups > Custom > Join Group > Spam yourself in groups and hop, hop and re hop until you get your rare.

Use Garrison groups, Daily Groups, there are even Hop groups for people doing stuff like you are.

If you join a "Raid group" there will be no Fel Crystals, but youre in for the kill mostly. (You can always tag, leave the group and get caught in a "Limbo" where you get the kill and the crystals.

Wasn't sure if I was patient enough to wait for this guy to respawn as I had just missed killing him (I was actually in the area first but was busy looking for a treasure to notice the star; saw someone come in and my rare was dead). But decided what the hey, I'll see how bad the wait is. After leaving the area for a little bit, decided to come back short while later. Killed the dudes around him in the area once, did some fishing in the green "water" nearby, killed a few respawned dudes, and there he was. So...least painful wait for a rare respawn of the four rares. I only care about getting these rares once so I'm not gonna camp him, unless I'm bored later, but this might be useful if you don't care to run around seeing which of the rares is available. I'm also one of these people that actually enjoy fishing, so in the down time I wasn't minding getting the felmouth and crescent saberfish.

So as mentioned years ago, Soulslicer and Gloomtalon are right across the pond from one another near 62, 78 in Tanaan, and The Blackfang along with Krell the Serene are just up the road. What's also mentioned is that each has a 30 minute respawn timer.

Next to Soulslicer is a lake of fel goop that gives a debuff, Fel Sludge, which has a 30 minute duration. Hopping into the sludge does roughly 10% damage every 3 seconds and it stacks to 10.

In other words: kill a rare, hop in the goop for a few painful 30 minute stacks of damage buff, kill cats till it hits 25 minutes, then kill another rare, kill some more cats till it hits 20 minutes, then kill the 3rd rare and more cats till it hits 15 minutes, then kill more cats. When the debuff falls off, repeat. (Yes you could do it more mathematically; space it out to every 7 minutes; but honestly the longest travel time is about 45 seconds, so there's little need for more time between kills. I liked having the last 15 minutes to clear out both camps completely, then get back to my start point.)

So after fooling around with this a bit, I started at soulslicer and killed him and his nearby buddies, then hopped in goop to start the timer. From there I hopped across the pond, 1-shotting any cats along the way to Gloomtalon, who I then killed within about a minute of the timer starting. From there, killed my way to The Blackfang, took him and then Krell out, and killed my way back to my AFK perch near Soulslicer, getting back to the start in 7-10 minutes from my initial kill and having earned an average of 3,500 rep in each circuit. Then I hit play on whatever I was watching on the other monitor and waited for the timer to tick through.

Doing it this way from 0/3000 neutral all the way to exalted would take about 14 hours, (half that if you just want revered for Draenor Pathfinder) but you can easily speed it up by killing more non-rares during the 20 minutes of downtime.
