I love that blizz tried to fix the whole centaur clan delima they created here by LITTERALLY DOING NOTHING …. lets add rep to these mobs for the people who did the quest … BUT WAIT they are all gone if u did the quest soo I guess that's fine no1 wanted these reps on their MAINS WHO DID THE QUEST YEARS AGO … no1 at all I have 88 exalted on my druid but only 30-40 on my dk one has done the quest and the other hasn't …. kinda upset if I have to REGRIND another 50+ reps on my dk to get the 100 exalted reward … yeah id do it if it came to it but there are people who wont and imo they are probly pretty disgusted overall how this has been dealt with …soo unless its changed somehow to be remotely fair ( someone said add another quest at the end GREAT IDEA IMO) its just insulting to people who did the quest years ago and this hotfix is just ANOTHER kick in the nuts after figuring out yesterday that we couldn't get the auto exalted.im not asking for a quest that gives both exalted … if I have to grind it out that's fine I just want to be able to grind it out on my druid who did the quests not my alts in hopes they will someday combine reps (which will never happen but we can keep dreaming right).
You know... They already said the phasing isn't intentionnal and is going to be fix, and that, if you think you got a better idea than what is currently planned for the rep, you can submit it. It is pointless to go spamming forums now.
I managed to get one of the Desolace reps to mid way through friendly years back. Did all the quests before and after cata. Luckily still managed to get this quest chain to drop as they had reset some things when they changed the zone achievements to chapters.Although it was only a handful of quests to get these vanilla unused reps to exalted, it would be a shame to remove them from a few just because a few others lucked out on getting them due to when they did their quest chains.If I was in the same boat I would be disappointed, but I wouldn't wish for others to get rolled back to a state of disappointment in the vain hope it would somehow make myself feel better that no one else had what I couldn't get. Thats just my two cents anyway. Heres to hoping theres a bug with Shen'drala too. Was saving that one for last when I was doing insane, then they nerfed it. I now forever have a yellow rep bar tainting my inactive list of reps :(

It’s interesting that they mentioned combat time yesterday but this change still doesn’t really address that. Sure, it’ll be easier now that we aren’t being crushed by the mobs damage, but still doesn’t change the fact that it takes 10-20 seconds to kill a single mob.

I'm really glad I did that Centaur rep quest exploit thing yesterday before they hotfixed this! Remember boys and girls, exploit early and often.
Honestly, they should remove these two reps from the game. Having them in the game in a state where some people can exploit to exalted while old school rep grinders can't even grind to exalted doesn't make sense. With the release of BfA, there will be enough reps to get to 100 for the achievement without having these two essentially meaningless reps being "fixed" to cushion the overall number of exalted reps possible. Leaving them in the game cheapens the meaningfulness of reputations that were actually difficult (in some cases insanely difficult) to achieve exalted with. Remove them and be done with this whole mess. They've been a blight on our reputation tab's pristine greenness since vanilla anyway.
I hope the mobs are giving 100 rep per kill because I don't see why I should do a several hour rep grind because I was conscientious enough to do the new content that was released in Cataclysm, in Cataclysm.Low IQ apologists need not respond to this post.
I had also done all the quests in Desolace before Cataclysm. Part of loremaster etc. I didn't think i'd be able to start the quests to lead to the item dropping for the last few quests that lead to the two exalted reps. But because of the change to the region during Cataclysm, the quests by the big tree were available to me, and i was able to do those, leading to me getting the rep.Please double check that you can't do these quests. In case some people are just assuming they can't, cos they completed them before. Things changed during cata, some quests kinda got reset. Just sayin' :)
Still can't get rep with the Centaur tribes because I finished every quest in Desolace. The mobs im supposed to kill arent even there
Still, it's just a temporary issue... Stop complaining so much about it.
