Also, I agree, getting a visual representation, like little shards of ice floating around the mage that suddenly shoot off and hit your target when you use Ice Lance would be so freaking cool.

Edit: This also coincides with a buff to Ice Lance and a nerf to Frostbolt, so overall DPS might take a slight nerf (due to the mastery change, which, let's face it, won't hurt that much) and burst DPS will probably stay relatively similar. Either they need to consider adding another minor glyph slot (mine are all full...) or having 3 major, 3 minor (some minor glyphs are actually still useful and not just cosmetic...), and 3 "cosmetic" glyph slots, or going back to Prime, Major and Minor glyphs...
