so this is why warcraft is a dying MMO and almost every realm is low populated or just a plain ghost town. stupid people designing stupid stuff for what used to be the best mmo i ever played.Lol, dying...sure; never mind we're up 5 million from the end of Cata...
so this is why warcraft is a dying MMO and almost every realm is low populated or just a plain ghost town. stupid people designing stupid stuff for what used to be the best mmo i ever played.Lol, dying...sure; never mind we're up 5 million from the end of Cata...Um...I'm pretty sure growth amount was about 90% smaller than that lol. Still, the game's certainly not dying (it's just been in a state of stasis lately due to a lack of content, among other things), and new content will bring in a massive influx of players as usual.
Patch 5.2 is not know for being the wow killer it really is.1 the humongous amount of broken / no longer working quests.2 hardcore raiding patch....this removes casuals from endgame, further reducing subscriptions3 10% debuff on bosses, simply not acceptable..you want to keep players , or those coming to the game, there is no way anyone can catch up in raiding...which will end up in even more subs lost fact...and thatfact as been proven for the last 3 expansions, further erosions in subscriptions down to retarded inbreddecisions based on the miniority...cater to the minority and all you will end up with is a handful of people.4 do not be decieved by the BS regarding current subscriptions. These numbers where taken from the asian / chinesemarket during late summer 2011, when wrath of the lich king launched..there is a reason why blizzard is hood winking players, particulary new ones into believeing there are more players then there really are....cross realm zoning was created solely for that illusion.Remove crz, and nearly every zone in the game is dead.. most people have multiple accounts, and these make up the numbers across the EU and America's.There are countless bugs with this patch, which is disgusting, when you consider the length of time it was on the PTR. There are just giant blatant bugs all over the show...quality is non important when dealing with idiotic children and they have proved this with the patches through cataclysm and now MoP.I pay a subscription to be able to play, not to run into tons of bugs almost every quest. Even more galling, is the lack of GM's in game. Seriously...they rob us each month, make tons of money, and these Removed can't be bothered to hire GM's? 24/36 Hour waits is above and well beyond acceptable.I do not care what they have added to this patch, but the fact remains, there are many broken things, realms are now in the cycle of constantly being rebooted..extra long down times during pretend maintence. Just thoroughly unprofessional..and don't give me the crap about it all being activision's fault. Blizzard are professional game breakers and always have been...quality is something the Removed at Blizzard have absolutely no concept about...if they did, I wouldn't be having to make a post like this.. Fix this mess...hire more GM's and remove patch 5.2 until you have fixed it!fan bois will quote nonsense for exposure ...no, the player base is hugely down since cata, and those numbers have been steadily dropping throughout the short life of mop. Cross Realm Zoning...exists solely because of the lack of players...it's designed for stupid people to say...hey loads of players are playing....remove crz and your realm will only have a third of the players on it if your lucky.....and those servers statuses are completely and utterly misleading...full haha, sure they are..sure they are...there was a recent estimate through one of the stratic sites, saying that subscriptions are now at an all time low. lower than they have ever been in the english market. 6.5m throughout the america's, oceanic and european markets, of which a just under half have canceled or non recurring subscriptions. Why do you think blizzard are in desperation mode, you can see it right the way through mists of pandaria, funny how the fanbois can't see it...up by 5 million hahaha blizzard wishes.Have you ever heard of marketing?...its always good to lie about your product, particularly the sales..it's what they use to lure new players, but it doesn't work lol.The player base is not stable, it's a real mess. The only thing holding this mmo together is the asian market...where in 2011 blizzard 10 million new chinese subscriptions which was caused by the launch of wrath of the lich king (was delayed for launch in china, due to licensing issues)..as soon as it went live, they reported a huge increase...since then they have failed to say anything at all, they always stay quiet when subscription numbers drop...and since august 2011 they have said nothing..which is disturbing when they usually jump up and down like Removed proclaiming huge numbers...mostly made up to con you into believing their marketing stratergies...makes me laugh out loud at the audacity

@SilvaCould you please clarify a couple of your points:1) Please give examples of which quests are bugged as of 5.2?2) Please explain in what way 5.2, which has increased the drop rate of gear from LFR, increased the number of Elder Charms you can carry for old versions of LFR, and reduced the Valor Point cost of the last set of purchasable epics, has done something to make it harder for casuals to catch up? What specifically qualifies this as a "Hardcore" expansion?3) Would you please explain how making bosses easier to kill will make it harder for new players to catch up?Also, would you mind showing your sources from which you got your information that contradicts the reported subscription numbers from Blizzard? I think that might be an interesting read. Also, can you answer why you are still playing, if you are so thoroughly disgusted with Wow, and you believe that the company that makes it is dishonest and produces a poor product? What is it that keeps you subscribed?
But now that we have something that everyone can participate in and experience, which avoids many of these issues. If you don't have a legendary, ultimately it's your choice because you haven't participated. It’s not because you weren't selected by the raid leader or were lucky enough to be in a guild that saw the needed content. Pretty much anyone who wants to can pursue it on their own time. The problem with this is the sigil drop rate. A smaller guild that may not be able to raid every week or may still be stuck on 5.0 bos mechanics may have raid members who have never seen one of the sha weapons drop, not even in lfr. I know on my main, our raid gorup isn't to empress yet, and with the release of ToT there's little chance that she'll get one. I've been doing LFR every week since it was released and while the other healers in the raid group have the lfr healer mace, but have not completed the eairler questlines nothing to socket it with, while my preist sits with an eye and a gem in her back... yet my rogue alt has had four drops (two daggers, two fw) ... though being an alt she's still on the get 6k valor quest. We have a few raid members who raid lfr every week, and raid in our normaly weekly raid who are still trying to farm sigils... the drop rate on them is really way too low, especially now that the sha touched weapon is basically worthless to try to get.... so they have to spam lfr still for sigils for the quest that they will not be able to use the rewards from... it dose not seem a very blanced system. At least with things like teragosa or the rogue quest... even if they were class specific there was progression and you could see the progression... with this, being stuck for months on the ledgendary quest and not getting the drop while wathcing others in the guild have 30 times the number you have gets very frustrating fast.
