So is there any Justice/Valor gear we can purchase without needing to rep grind? Or is everyone who doesn't like dailies pretty much going to be sitting on a mountain of points with nothing to spend them on?
its not like its hard to even hit revered, I mean if they truly wanted to be sadistic, they'd demand you hit exalted to get the items. But revered? most zones will take you all the way to mid honored before you're done with them, so the amount of grinding should be minimal.
Ummm there is a error in mail first one, justice points are (Currency #395) not 295. same thing in other areas too.
I hope they don't force us to do dailies to hit revered. I hate dailies with a passion. I will probably have to buy vendor gear to fill in gaps when gear I need doesn't drop, so therefore I'll need revered to progress in the game. If I am forced to dailies to get to revered I will be very annoyed. Just like I would suspect if someone hated doing challenge modes they would be annoyed if they were forced to do them to progress.
Reputation gear so far is bought with JP and VP. This post covers all the different ways you get can VP.
Yup; the gear itself is bought with points, but the mounts/tabard at exalted are bought with gold. But yes: Just from doing the quests in Kun-lai and Townlong, you'll be almost revered with Shado-Pan in no time flat. Doing the quests at the Temples will get you to revered fairly quickly with the August Celestials. Since you want to quest in the Vale anyways, you'll get your Golden Lotus rep up quickly.Seriously; the daily hubs take all of 10 minutes to do a piece, they aren't 'hard' quests by any stretch of the imagination.
Wow the cloth gear! Love the red version and how it looks like its got a fancy ass necklace thing with it.
iam not thinking much of the leather but thats alright, cloth is simply stunning and i love that the idea they used for a "helm", just beautiful and very RP. i can see that cloth helm being popular across all morg sets.the mail gear looks great too, not overly bulky and what you would expect from rep armor but still looks nice. Same goes for plate. They're very quaint.
Am I missing something with these blue items? Unlike VPs, which are rewarded for many different activities, it looks like the only ways to earn JPs at 90 is by doing heroics and scenarios. But if I'm running heroics (and possibly scenarios, which have a chance to award "dungeon quality" gear), I'm likely to get better pieces before I can afford to buy these.
When I click on the pics I get sent to a page with just a banner ad, instead of the normal model viewer pop-up...any ideas on what could be causing that?
The zones should take you pretty close to revered, if not to it. I know Hyjal takes you all the way to revered for the guardians of hyjal, so if it's anything similar, it shouldn't be a problem.
I suspect that these are for transmog purposes only really, or to fill in pieces for that newly leveled 90 alt who needs a piece here or there to get into heroics or LFR.
I agree that reputation requirements for JP and VP gear don't seem to make very much sense. I find it very odd that Blizzard struggled with creating an agreeable niche for head/shoulder enchants without forcing a grind on players... to the extent that they are no longer even related to factions anymore. Now we see that they're just replacing one forced reputation grind for another. This is made even more silly by the fact that it's the exact same patch in which they've removed the faction enchants!Personally this doesn't affect me too much, as i'm a one-character player. My alts are predominately for professions. For an altoholic, or someone who just doesn't enjoy questing... this looks to be somewhat of a headache - a very similar headache to one they've only just removed... Reminds me of the saying where the left hand doesn't know what the right hand is up to. Or maybe they're just a little sadistic.
