I am glad they buffed Holy Paladins back up a bit. It was really painful for me going from being a really awesome powerhouse healer on my paladin to unleashing everything I could and barely keeping up with other healing classes. Other healing paladins I talked to also felt the sting of the nerf bat, so I don't think it was just a "learn to deal with 4.01" situation (though that may certainly be part of it)!Another paladin told me that "pallies are balanced at 85" and I'll say here what I said in game:It's great that they're balanced at 85, but I still wanted to enjoy raiding at 80 fro a few more weeks!I hope these changes will help my healing go back from being "barely able to keep up" back to holding my own along with other healing classes.
Okay, so. 4.0.1 goes live. Mages are overpowered, "especially Fire Mages."Within 24 hours, nerf Mages. Glyphs are still broken. Now, one major patch later, Mages are nerfed again (with Fire once again taking the biggest hit).Mage Glyphs are still broken.I'm starting to see where Blizzard's priorities are.
wow good job blizz make holy pallies unstopable in pvp agian /golfclapOther than that most of the changes are rather nice.
i feel sick about the moonfury nerf omg i rly feel like crying :o
Overall good and fair changes. Just want 4.03a to come outs. :[Edit: And what's with everyone's QQ? Don't be mad that your overpoweredness got balanced a bit. Jeez. :\\ The sky isn't falling. And remember, stuff isn't balanced around 80. It's balanced around 85. Wait until you're a geared 85 before you panic.
instead of nerfing a to match b and to buff c to match b, buff all the stuff to equal level damnit so d doesnt feel left out D:
Now I dont understand Blizz....throughout whole 4.0.1, I have seen ungodly dps and overpoweredness of feral druids...My hunter twinks, who could even survive some subtlety rogues in 3.3.5, could not suvive feral unstealthed ravage and passive 30% speed. And no other classes do either. On level 80, my KS geared Blood DK tank was doing unending duel with the druid. I can kill most melees, and even some casters.....but this bear just healed unstoppable. Yes, I am a noob in PvP, and I didnt stop him from oldschool shift out+cyclone+hotz, the only thing that kept me alive was my own blood DK abusive healing. He didnt have enough damage in half wrathful\\relentless to kill a geared tank, so that made us more or less balanced. Now, when they have simply ALL abilities vastly empowered....(while all other classes recieved different nerfs), I just cba to try him on DK. Furthermore, my guildmate feral tank was 1-3rd on dps list while tanking, so feral tanks had NO problems with aggro or DPS. And neither did I see a cat dps have it bad. How do they explain SUCH, massive buff to already well-known haxxor class? It doesnt seem like they need a hug, then what is it?Edit: same goes to paladins. With their ability to heal 3 targets at a time and have free Word of Glory, as well as new aoe Light of Dawn, they didnt seem like the most suffering class. At least at low level, not very twinked holydin was just running though all enemies, keeping him up with shock and flashes. My twink hunter, who gets 90% of enemies down in 3-5 seconds, could get him below 40%. So the PvP side does lack either.I dont know much about warrior problems, my friend was rather fine with warrior PvP. Though he still said that against some casters warriors simply have no chance(and he is not a loser like me in PvP). Maybe warrior buffs are logical, but their dps in PvE is already overpowered(from my PoV).Personally, I would like a heavy nerf to warlocks. Demo-locks, to be exact. Their felguard is worse than old paladins. A fcking pet-based arms warrior. With pretty similar dps as well(at lower levels). And that doesnt mean they lose any casting ability. No! Hand of Guldan, buffed metamorphosis - invulnerable warlock with armswarrior pet. That's bull^&*!. But....the only thing I can actually(personally) accuse them of - is low level dps, which is sick with it's easiness. At lvl80, I dont know much about demo locks. So this part of nerdrage can basically be ignored.
the buffs to feral are already in game. Were rather, this is just the tooltip update.
shouldn´t this be added in the 4.0.3a patch notes?http://www.worldofwarcraft.com/patchnotes/#4.0.3cuz there´s about a million and one noobs on my realm talking about nerfed mages in trade chat, and linking to this entry >_>
And another one bites the dust...It's always the shamans being left out :(I BLAME RACISM
They *finally* fixed the Internal Bag Error when trying to purchase stuff with Dalaran Cooking Awards. /happydance(and about #*@! time)
why are u nerfing warriors?, i like my 30k AoE and 13k single target why take that away
Okay this might just be me being stupid...but is the tooltip on Rend messed up or are we really getting a ranged Rend? I'm hoping it's not, but I have a feeling it is. >.<
What's with blizzard boosting like almost everything...?
