Edit: as of build 16503 this is no longer a legendary meta gem.

This is one of five new legendary meta gems coming in 5.2. We do not know yet if this is in addition to a MoP meta gem, or takes the place of one.
Capacitive Primal Diamond: +324 Stamina & Chance on striking with a melee attack to gain Capacitance. When Capacitance reaches X charges, you will deal a Lightning Strike to your current target for 100 Nature damage.
Courageous Primal Diamond: +324 Stamina & Chance on casting a helpful spell to make your next spell cost no mana.
Indomitable Primal Diamond: +324 Stamina & Chance on being hit by a melee attack to gain a 20% reduction to physical damage taken for 15 sec.
Sinister Primal Diamond: +324 Stamina & Chance on dealing spell damage to gain 30% spell haste for 10 sec.
Tyrannical Primal Diamond: +665 PVP Power & +775 Resilience[/ul(##RESPBREAK##)2##DELIM##perculia##DELIM##

first of all, despite resilience being taken off the gear, you can still gem/enchant for it to go above 65% in 5.3

and despite what people say about bringing pve gear into pve, its not going to be worth it at all... healers could maybe make it work, but you would really be lacking in pvp power to actually deal damage... healers will still have the penalty to bypass anyways so power still helps

if you had to choose for pvp compared to lets say a 216 + 3% crit gem, i would say that this meta would be incredibly better

665 power is worth a little under 3% power which beats the combined stats and crit (the crit is only worth a the same percent as your crit rate, which is really only good for classes that crit a lot such as mages or frost dks, otherwise its really only worth around a 0.5-1% gain in damage)

775 resilience is also worth about 2% damage reduction as well, which especially for healers is better than most of the defensive meta gem options (216 int + silence reduction is debatable)

This gives ~1.66% PvP Power (Down from 2.51% as of 5.3) and 2.5% PvP Resilience before Diminishing Returns..

Is this still viable in 5.3? If so, would it mainly be used for Arenas, not RBGS? I wonder if it is better then the Meta gem with 3% increased crit effect, for my Frost dk. -_-

I suggest you buy two. One for this season, one for the next (you'll get the new helm before the new meta gem)

As of 5.4 this requires you earn 10,000 Conquest Points in the season, and costs 1,000 Conquest Points to purchase.

In case you're wondering...I have it from a GM that the procs from the Legendary Meta Gems do not apply / take effect in BGs, RBGs, or Arenas. They did, but this was changed in a hot-fix. Thus; the validity of this Meta is affirmed. As it is obviously better for PvP than any of the crafted Meta Gems...

In my oppinion the Gem sucks ... it changed my character resilience from 80,10 % to 80,47% which is close to not worth mentioning ... changes pvp power from 51,97% to 54,09% (including socket bonus) which is "ok" ...
