This item is a new reward for players to obtain during the yearly Midsummer Fire Festival.

Hey, Cyrex here!
Just bought this toy for 500 Burning Blossoms.
Turns you a Burning Defender(cptn obvious)
The good part is, that combat doesn't remove the buff, and it has an own attack/casting animation!
The pretty cool thing is,that if you mount up, you turn back to your original form, but when you dismount, you are Burning Defender again.
Have fun with the new toy!

Information and Tips:
- When you use the Burning Defender's Medallion you can also attack and mount up, while still keep the buff for 10 minutes!
- The toy is awesome and worth getting! I love going on my Destruction Warlock and spamming Rain of Fire or the lvl 100 talent Cataclysm .
- The big down side for this toy is the two hour cooldown.

If you are looking for a stand alone add-on to track your progress of collecting the Burning Blossom , you can use Candy Buckets. It indicates icons on the map for each type of bonfire (honor and desecrate) and another one of the benefits that it provides is that it removes the tracking icons from each character's map as they find them.

This particular add-on is also coded to be used for Hallow's End and Lunar Festival.

Dont forget you can extend this disguise as long as you want with Reflecting Prism

or steal it from another person if you dont have the toy! ( dont be mean! )

- NEW: Set of Matches: costs 500 Burning Blossom

Pets:
- Blazing Cindercrawler: costs 350 Burning Blossom
- Captured Flame: costs 350 Burning Blossom
- NEW: Igneous Flameling: costs 350 Burning Blossom

All pets can be traded and sold/bought from the AH

This toy also dramatically increases the size of Felo'melorn's fire balls for complexed fire mages. Can further stack with other size increasing items like Vrykul Drinking Horn.

As of 2019 - You can now purchase all four required pieces of the Midsummer Set from Midsummer Merchant or Midsummer Supplier for Achievement Burning Hot Pole Dance and refund your Burning Blossom currency once your Achievement is complete.

I just did some testing during patch 8.3 (BfA):

- 20 minute duration & 2 hour cooldown
- Dying removes the buff
- Combat, taking damage, and dealing damage do not remove the buff, and it also has unique attack animations that replace your normal attack/ability animations
- Mounting does not remove the buff, but reverts your appearance back to normal while mounted, and changes back to the burning defender appearance while dismounted

This work's great with Vengeance DH's infernal Strike. Not only do you not disappear during the animation as the defender rushes to the position, but the demon transformation animation is GIANT.

They've changed his appearance, most likely due to the events of the Dragonflight Pre-Patch. He used to be wooden but now he seems to be made of metal

So I don't know if this has happened before or it's a new bug but for some reason if you use this toy and use a mount that has a special animation when its summoned like the Dimensius Aotc and Mythic one the affect is insanely large and it stacks with the engineer world shrinker and archaeology vykrul horn sitting here in SW it covers almost a 3rd of the city from the gates lol
