Having the same issue here on Mac OSX 10.8.2:
2012.10.02 06:43:23 PM: Authentication succeeded.
2012.10.02 06:43:23 PM: Checking for Wowhead Looter addon updates…
2012.10.02 06:43:23 PM: Looks like you're up-to-date!
2012.10.02 06:43:26 PM: Checking for supported realms…
2012.10.02 06:43:27 PM: No valid realm found.
2012.10.02 06:43:27 PM: This version of WoW uses an unsupported realm
WoW is installed into /Applications/World of Warcraft/. Wowhead client is version 1.2.2. Never used a private server and the WH Client is pointed at the correct directory.

I am now having the same issue. Seems to have only had issues since Pandaria.
I have reformatted the computer, fresh reinstall of everything and even updated my Wowhead password to ensure everything is up to date.

I'm on Dath'Remar (Oceanic) and have been uploading data until now with no issues.

I have exactly the same issue. Couldn't upload data for two weeks now ... Playing on a Mac, EU Servers, never used an unofficial server.

Ok, guys. Since Wowhead hasn't even replied to this topic I decided to do some investigating myself.
I guess that WoW is no longer using a
realmlist.wtf
file to specify what server to log into. To make sure that you weren't uploading fake/incorrect data to Wowhead, the Wowhead Client would check the realmlist.wtf file to verify that you connect to a valid, official Blizzard realm.
Unfortunately, a fresh install of MoP does not include a realmlist.wtf. The Wowhead Client must assume we're not connecting to a valid Blizzard realm because of this.
In order to get the Wowhead Client to work you'll need to create this file yourself. I have no idea if Wowhead uses the realm information for statistics so I've included both US and EU versions below. Create the file based on whichever version of WoW you're using.
Proceed at your own risk.
For US Clients — <World of Warcraft>/realmlist.wtf:
set realmlist us.logon.worldofwarcraft.com
For EU Clients — <World of Warcraft>/realmlist.wtf:
set realmlist eu.logon.worldofwarcraft.com
Two notes for the more technically inclined:
1) I'm not including the entire realmlist.wtf file because I don't find it necessary. WoW doesn't use it anymore and it would just cause confusion due to language codes used in the patch notes URL. My WoW install and Wowhead Client have worked just fine without it.
2) If you're looking in old Cataclysm backups you probably won't find a realmlist.wtf in the root directory. WoW used to store this file in the root directory but later moved it to /Data/xxYY/realmlist.wtf, where xxYY is the language code used by your WoW install. The Wowhead Client checks for both locations so I went with the simplest.

Quick question for those of us not very technologically savvy and don't want to jack anything up. How do I go about creating the realm list.wtf file?
Post by
spartanentropy
are we to copy "set realmlist us.logon.worldofwarcraft.com" in the text file before saving?

This worked. Thanks!

Sorry for the late reply. This is a really useful fix and as a longtime Mac user, I appreciate it. Our devs are busy with the PTR and Wishlists, but I've added the instructions to our
Client Help
page and
FAQ
.

Hm, I've followed all instructions but it still isn't functioning. . .
