Obtaining a follower that is already level 100 does not count towards this achievement.

Easiest to get with alts.

On each alt, get a few followers that are level 98-99 and just level them up to 20.

Posted a screenshot of how this is not account wide (Clearly shows i have the achievement for raising a follower to 100 while my progress is at 0/10)

You have to get previous achievement to make 100 lvl followers on your other characters count, i.e. this achievement is account-wide, but you need 10 followers raised to 100 on one character to get it.
I've got both these achievements at the same time due to having enough levelled on my alts.

If you don't have the 10 followers achiev, you can track this one cause this is account wide and not related to the previous one. Use the following macro: /run AddTrackedAchievement(9129)

No you don't I get the 20 followers achiev without having the 10 one. Weird but true.

This achievement may be tracked in the achievement frame @

Garrison > Followers

If you do not see it, it means you have not completed Raising the Bar. Once that is completed Filling the Ranks will show.

Do not finish a mission to ding your follower 99>100 while in a raid group. You will not get credit!

This happened to me two days in a row (finished follower missions after a raid without leaving my group first) and both times I didn't get credit for my followers dinging 99>100. I was, and still am, at 19/20 because of this ^&*!.

I ticketed it and Blizz said there's nothing they can do. Gee, thanks!

For some reason the "Armory" does not show this achievement as account wide, while in game it is. I earned the achievement, noticed it didn't show on my armory and checked and sure enough the progress didn't include my alt's 100s. /shrug.

I sport Curse Client and am sending this useful piece of info assuming that pretty much the entire WOW population does as well. If not, read no further. lol

If so, look up an obscure little addon called FollowerLocationInfo. Load it up and have a look. What it does is lists all the followers in Draenor by zone, and provides you the criteria for obtaining them in very direct terms. So if a questline must be completed or an achievement be reached in order to be provided with this follower, it will advise you of this so you can then begin grinding that out.

But if all you have to do is show up and either challenge the follower or perform some small, menial task, you will get the exact location so you just go there and get the follower.

One thing it did not provide, at least not that I saw, was info regarding the initial starting point that leads to the quest required to complete the line and gain the follower. Example, I saw that Rangari Erdanii / Spirit of Bony Xuk was up for grabs, but that I had a quest to complete. The one quest where she becomes a follower is the only one shown. The good news is that there is a prompt to the right of all listed quests taking you here to read over the events leading to finally acquiring Erdanii, which involved Rexxar and about 20 quests leading to her. Worth it though because the process also picked up Pitfighter Vaandaam / Bruto as I quested.

How come I have achieved the 10-follower achievement, but in the 20-follower stage it says my progress is 0/20?
