Imp in a Ball
| |||
Imp in a Ball is an item usable from the inventory, which does not need to be equipped. It functions like a Magic Eight Ball for Warcraft. When you use it, a floating ball (with imp ears protruding) appears. You can ask it a question and it will provide an answer. The question and answer are in no way related to each other, the Imp merely provides one of many random and often wiseguy answers. The answer given is provided in the form of a whisper to the user, unless the user is in a party, in which case the answer is provided in party chat. Depending on the character using it, the imp can appears inside the character, obscured by their model. On a tauren male the Imp appears inside the chest, requiring the character to move in order to see the Imp at all. The answers are given a set time period after the item is activated, which is often not long enough to type a question. The answers given can be cryptic as well as insulting. Some of the answers gotten: "Hey! You try telling the future when someone’s shaking up your house!" "I don’t think so, boss." "The answer’s yes in here, don’t see why it’d be different out there!" "I suppose." Imp in a Ball is obtainable only through the WoW Trading Card Game. The card "Fortune Telling," from the second Trading Card set, "Through the Dark Portal," must be obtained with a Loot code printed on it. Not all Fortune Telling cards are a Loot version.
