I really hate the mana cost on this spell. The only time I ever use it is to pop off a quick heal for someone like a mage, but the regen part is mostly wasted because a 1.2k heal will normally mostly heal a cloth wearer and if it crits then it will completely heal them so the regen part doesn't justify the huge mana cost.

as far as i have been able to calculate, this is actually the highest HPS in the entire game, for any class. its 1000 HPS for the 2 sec casting time. althou the entire effect doesnt come in an instant, it IS the highest HPS spell, when only looking at spell casting time.

Dont take talents in inproved regrowth!First it takes to much mana so u spam rejuvenation and healing touch only when it�s many who need heal u do regrowth because it heal ot!dont impprove it!it good as it is

cosidering ht has only 3.00 cast after the patch..

this is still good. the HOT is very usfull in mc and so on. i its skilled its crits almost every time and heals more than HT faster than HT but cost just a litte bit more. of course spamming this isnt a very smart thing , but not using this either.

for pvp its very usefull as a restore druid.

with 70% not beeing interruptet and over 50% crit not many are fast enough to interrut this :)
very good. with the othet hot you barely lose any hp when shaping to bear afterwards.

but if you are spamming heal: use HT (and not everytime the highest. as the last poster said: a small ht is very usefull to keeop the MTs life at top)

and when using NS.. yeah its better to use HT of course

and as a feral : for farming i use only this because its fast cast and i regenerate enough mana during fighting :)

yeah you are right. my fault. Ht rank 4 is the best healing ever. with much + heal equip is heals 1000 hp for 205 mana (not resto skilled)

so very very good.

but i still use this spell when the MT is neraly dead to give a fast heal and in pvp when you dont have enough time for a ht.

This is healing in advance. You heal most of the tank's damage, and give him a down payment for the rest he's sure to receive. Ain't useless, pretty damn good in my book. Can't say how many times I've used this without losing anyone. I combine this w/Rejuv for the tank, and cast it on someone just beginning to aggro, then prep up a HT if it seems whoever's getting hit won't survive.

Use this on your main tanks, combine it w/a Rejuv, and you've got some damn good healing going on, while using the more mana efficient stuff for those who aren't supposed to be taking the frak of aggro.

Well, at least in my opinion and experience, but I'll admit I hate always being forced into either healing or tanking, so I'll admit there's other Druids out there who probably know more about healing than myself.

Somone under the effects of both this and rejuv are nearly invincible :-P at least in PvE, if you cast both on yourself and then go to bear form you can take down almost any one mob around your level without hardly getting hurt.. (and if you do then use frenzied regeneration)

The comments here suggest that this is a good heal to be used on yourself, in PvP or PvE, like when you need a fast heal or you're about to shift into a feral form.

These are cases where you're not as concerned about mana efficiency.

I'm a resto druid and I've built my toon around raiding and long boss fights. I hate this spell and I almost never use it. Learn to anticipate who will be taking damage and you'll be able to deal with the longer casting time of HT.

After getting tired of my rogue, i began on this druid... and what do we have here? Its pretty the same discussion about useless abilities, just like in the rogue forums :o

Ok i remember as a rogue that every single ability (yes even garrote, but i wont explain now) were useful in its own way. Some abilities are more often used than others, but thats why we got diffrent abilities. To match the right tactics with the right situation.

I am balance druid, but i also heal since i collect int. Most often in 5 man pve, i got the healing under control. Thats when i use rev on tank, and HT when hp drops low. But every druid that have been healing should kno the situation, when you finally get aggro and you gotta heal yourself. As a tauren, what do you think i do? Do i stomp and make a simple rev? Do i stomp and make a long HT? No, i make stomp and a small healboost of regrowth, and later i get covered with its long HoT.

You see, i'd rather use all my time up i have on healing, meanwhile my foes are stunned. But i wont get interrupted ither. Also i love having this + rev before i turn into bear form ^^. I havent done any high lvl instance yet, so i cant comment myself about that part.

Remember "every single ability has its own use, even if it aint needed that often".

you people all crazy regrowths spells super awsome at any lvl i love em at lvl 12 ill love em at 70 idc, with mucho healing gear the HoT part gets pimped up as well as the normal part and now that BC is out Regrowth + Rejuvenation + Lifebloom will make your tank recover soooooooo much life u wont need 2 cast healing touch =P
