This may have a decent use with another engineering made item, the flavor text on the Explosive Decoy reads "Warning Label: May explode prematurely if subjected to an electromagnetic pulse." Maybe we'll be able to set a bunny and make it go boom on command. Would be great if someone in the beta could test this out and post their results.

It would also be nice to know the cooldown on this pulse.

Confirmed : Does not work on siege vehicles in Wintergrasp. It says that they are "immune" when you use it next to them. 'tis a shame, the belt would be extremely useful with how the siege combat works!

It stuns a mechanical unit for 3 seconds, that's what it means by "confuses".

Does it pull mobs that are not "mechanical" when used, or could it be used to put other players in combat in arena? They would be the best pvp belt enchant ingame, better then nothing :)
Can someone test if you can get rogues out of stealth aswell?

They may fixed this i dunno

But if you drop a decoy in a duel, it wont kill them, takes them low.
But if they shoot it, it can kill them "outside org"
but nobody is stupid enough. however with this belt you can blow it up on will.
taking the low life duelers with it. engineering ftw. expect flaming :P

You dont have to be a dueler..

Wait till a duel finishes. Drop the decoy next to the loser.
Use the belt, boom, dead. roflstomped decoyrolled.

As for the above comment, Using this on par with your own creations has limited pvp use. not entirely usefull but not bad.
Leaving decoys around like a landmine and detonating it on a running rogue/druid works.

EG: Pillar humping LOS
I had a mage almost dead and she tried to just rotate the pillar for an hour. Left a decoy on one side
when she cycled back around i blew it up and took her with it.
The above was in beta. I havent done arena in release but when i do ill be giving that a try.

This is just a guess at this point, but maybe it'll have an affect in Ulduar as some mobs may be mechanical according to the lore behind it.

Using this will stun the adds that spawn during the XT-002 Deconstructor encounter in Ulduar. This can be very useful if you are going for the achievement Heroic: Nerf Engineering.

Confirmed. The area of effect is nice, and combined with https://www.wowhead.com/wotlk/item=40536 , can be a decent combo when there are a ton of scrapbots to deal with.

This DOES NOT work on Mimirions trash 25 man just tried all immune but the mobs labeled trash.

The stun will break on damage.
Easily tested by using it on a target dummy (they are mechanical).

Edit:
To the person below me, once applied to a belt it reads, Use: Stuns all nearby mechanical units for 3 sec. (1min cooldown), so the tooltip is a bit misleading.

If you feel like adding some excitement to your dull rotations, add an Electromagnetic flare to it! Using a simple ability macro with a use command attach, you will see a pretty purple explosion every minute!

Although this does initiate a 15 second cooldown on your other tinkers, so beware if you like to proc your rockets and mind controls and haste and what not! Still a fun change from the ordinary though.

What's really fun is combining this with Explosive Decoy. Let's say you're in an AV match. Pop the decoy in a tower somewhere and when you notice that the other team is trying to destroy the tower, run over and pop your belt for some major damage. What's even funnier is if there is someone who is low on health and tried to get in the tower for safety, boy will they be surprised xD.
