Use the dummies, then loot their remains. You'll get back a few components to make more dummies, and Fused Wiring has a 15-20% drop rate from those as well.

Very cheap way of leveling Engineering. Essences of Fire are cheap - at least on my server - and the recipe has just gone green at 295 (not 280 as written at the top of the page).

Note that this only makes 1 fused wiring, not the 5 it says it does under "Effect".

seems to be the case with patch 3.2, I think hmm be very easy to make alarm-o-bots now days

As of patch 3.2, this now creates 5 Fused Wiring per creation for the same material cost (2 Essence of Fire and 3 Delicate Copper Wire). A substantial increase from the previous amount of one per creation.
