The quest to get Berserker stance starts at a warrior trainer. You will have to go to an island southeast of rachet and fight against some random NPCs. At the end you will fight a lvl 33 he is easy to solo shouldn't be a big problem. The quest is pretty easy but it can be a bit nasty for a level 30 warrior.

My level 44 fury warrior always uses this stance versus Casters because of Pummel (https://www.wowhead.com/wotlk/spell=6552) and Whirlwind (https://www.wowhead.com/wotlk/spell=1680), they are both really good versus any caster mobs :).

What Warod said is incorrect. It's not a simple case of talk to any Warrior Trainer, Therax has it right; talk to Kelv Sternhammer in the Hall of Arms in Ironforge for the quest.

Is this stance preferred for PvP, where an increased amount of total damage seems neglible?

Because +3% to crit is not, in my mind, worth an additional +20% damage taken in PvE. A Warrior with 15% chance to crit or less technically gets his/her crit chances boosted by 20% (3 of 15 = 20%), thus matching the damage penalty. Otherwise, seems like this gets dimishing returns as your base crit chance goes up.

ok, this really has me puzzled. This is supposed to be a Lv 30 quest for both sides right? so how is it that the other day in battlegrounds there was a horde warrior with intercept charge at level 29?!?!?!

Something is very wrong, I skipped getting knew abilities at lvl 30 and just left it until I was lvl 32 but now I can't seem to get the quest to teach this stance. Any known bugs like this?

The icon is supposed to look like a viking or a Norse warrior. Vikings and Norse warrios, was known for their ability to go berserk (such warrios was called an Berserker or Berserka). Beserk is when a warrior goes into a frenzy (sometimes by taking a special kind of mushrooms) and fight with reckless savagery and insane fury. Same way i feel when i use berserker stance ;)

Go fury talents - seriously
they are awsome

This is like the 2nd stage in enhancement for the warrior the first was at lvl 20 - they got duel wield and cleave(leting them take on mulitple guys finnaly)
before then they sucked

Now at lvl 30 they can use the fury talents to their potential and get great moves like intercept and slam and if fury(deathwish) then in a bit berserker rage

This makes u very powerful and such a killer

I would perhaps recomend staying in berserker rage nearly all times so u won't have to deal with switching into it and taking more dmg - this way, you can make it so that with berserker rage - thats ur regular armor - just an idea

And hey +3% crit chance - if ur fury or arms you most likly have + crit chances for your wepons add all of that with this and your regular crit chance and you're in for some crazy criting frenzy

Also, a few of the techniques - deathwish , beserkers rage make you immune to fear and berserkers rage has a low cooldown looks like u got over the warlock fear spamer problem

The beserker stance for horde is obtained by visiting the warrior trainer in Undercity. From there you go to Fray Island. Don't know about the alliance, but hope this helps.

When I originally got this quest I died a couple times while trying it and abandoned it. I didnt think much of it till recently, but now I'm 30 levels further. Is there a way to get this quest again so I can get this Berserker ability?

this stance is great for bg's because of its beserker rage and its pummel. the pummel attack is great when going against spell casters because they cant attack you for 3 seconds. as they run away, let them run a little and then intercept them causing them to be stunned. by that time, they should have pretty low health and you will probably already have enough rage for a good exicute.

The Islander

This quest was very difficult to find information on so I will try to make it easy for Alliance Characters at least.

You must be at least a lvl 30 warrior. If you are a higher level then it is easier.

The quest starts in Stormwind-Old Town- Command Center - Warrior Trainer - Wu Shen. He is upstairs talking with another warrior trainer on a rug.

Obtain the quest "The Islander". The quest requires that you travel to Ratchet and off of Ratchet is a small island called Frey Island. It is just south-east of Ratchet. There is a small path that leads to the Island, but it is covered by water. All the water is fatigue water (dark) and only one spot is light and that is where the path is. So you don't actually have to swim to get there, but you are waist high in the water.

If you have a flight path to Booty Bay you can take a boat to Ratchet. Another way is to take the boat from Menethil Harbor to Theramore and walk up the coast or Travel through the Barrens (avoiding the cities) and go east at the crossroads.

Once you get there there is a group of people around a platform (Frey Spectators). You go around the small wall to Klannoc Macleod. There you complete the quest and start the quest The Affray.

You have to kill the ~7 Affray Challengers (lvl 30 or so) and then Big Will comes out (lvl 33). There will be time to take a healing potion or eat before fighting Big Will so be prepared.

Then complete the quest with Klannoc Macleod. The reward will be Beserker Stance and Intercept.

It is sooo easy for alliance to get berserker! all you do i go to warrior trainer in the command center in SW, get the quest. go to rachet, swin to the island south of rachet, be careful you swim thru deep water so you will fatigue. then talk to the guy on the island. he will tell you to go outside and fight. beat like 10 people, and your done. i did it first try no deaths. and i'm a noob. easy easy easy!

P.S. watch for horde when your running thru the barrens. its is a horde controlled land.

Lvl required: 30

Take a wind rider to Ratchet and swim south east a bit out until you see an island a bit away. Swim near the island to your right since you'll get Exhausted if you try to swim to the island straight.

A bit further you'll be able to walk over to the island, do that and you'll se a question mark over the head of whatever name he has who gives you the Berserkerstance quest. Take the quest, complete it and you're done.

I was correct. I went to the island, and there was a man behind the fence that is behind the circle that i was able to talk to and he game me the quest i needed. It was simple, and the rewards were great :)! I hope this helps!

Okay, I have a soon to be 39 twink warrior. I currently have mograin's might, thornstone sledge, and whirwind warhammer, all maces because I'm spec'd for them. Should I use this stance or battle stance for PvPing? And which would be better: Spec'ing arms or specing fury for PvP?

I dont know if anyone said this before but if you use Demorilizing Shout on those mobs before Big Will they'll run away, as if you casted fear.Helped me a lot.

this was probably the easiest class quest ever. All the challengers were 25 and together they barely got me to half health. Just in case, I ate before fighting Will, but that was unnecessary. If i had thunder clapped and used demoralizing shout, he wouldnt have killed me anyway.

You don't have to stay in this stance all the time. I'm a 47 prot war (go gnome or go home) but zerker stance still gets good use; for example, you aggro 3 or 4 mobs. Drop say TC and demoralising (to use up rage so it isn't wasted when you stance switch), enter zerker, whirlwind and berserker rage while you're there. Then you can do w/e, and if it lasts long enough, even drop whirlwind again.

Get this stance. It is vital for PvP when fighting ANY ranged class to be able to use intercept, and berserker rage OWNS locks and priests who try and fear (how'd you like that immune lil' cloth kiddie? :D). Never mind pummel, which when used in combination with shield bash cooldowns, can make it virtually impossible for opponents to get off spellcasting.

And just a note to a few fury warriors out there: you will NOT pull aggro off me.

Like the Tauren, Im LVL 70 warrior and never completed that quest either. Kept going back to the dude in Stormwind to see if I could pick it up again, but no go. Ill try the guys back on the island and see what happens

I tired the quest, got there and there was another warrior doing it, and when I got my chance.. no one came out, just waited and waited.. now I failed it? Do I get another chance or no? im confused..

Every warrior's stance has a mark that indicates what the stance is about... Is this one good for killing dwarves? I mean it a bit lol to have two maces for battle a sheild for defencive and a dwarf's head for furry :P Hope blizz replaces it

well, i'm 32lvl Orc Warrior, if i'm not mistaken i had the quest from freewind post in thousand needles, then i had to speak to smb in an island near ratchet.. then this man had a quest for me to kill Billy.. i killed him and the reward was Berserker Stance :)))

That quest is for the Alliance. Where is the quest for the Horde?

This quest can be recieved from any major city warrior trainer level 30 and after.

How to get Berserker Stance in WoW Classic:

First: Hit Level 30 on your Warrior, stock up on some +stam food and healing pots and bandages.

Second: For Alliance: Go to Stormwind and talk to Wu Shen and accept the quest The Islander:

Wu Shen can be found upstairs at these coordinates:

/way 78.69 45.79

For Horde: Go to any warrior trainer in a capital city.

Third: Go to Booty Bay and take the Boat to Ratchet.

Fourth: Go South along the coast, being careful of the Horde guards to: /way 64 48

Fifth: Swim to the East to Fray Island: /way 68 48

Sixth: Do the Beserker Quest The Islander remembering that your Demoralizing Shout will fear the special quest mobs (it does not normally fear mobs). You can use this to heal between the mobs. Should be doable, but not a cake-walk, at lvl 30.

This is obtained through the 島民 quest line. 島民 is available from Warrior Trainers in most Capital Cities (not Darnassus or The Exodar)

Fray Island is off the coast of The Barrens, south of Rachet at 68 48 .

There is a causeway leading to Fray Island at 65 48 on The Barrens coast. Follow the islands and weeds to avoid swimming.
This is just south of the moored boat with the lockpicking practice boxes in it.

Note : You no longer receive 手冊:狂戰士之道. 狂暴姿態 and 攔截 are cast on you when you complete 格鬥考驗.

This is not mentioned in-game but Berserker Stance and Battle Stance reduce threat generated by 20% in vanilla WoW.

You can find the passive effect here on wowhead if you search "berserker stance" & "battle stance", and then look for the tab Uncategorized Spells.
