Im very confused here. patch notes for patch 1.7 on the Warcraft website indicates,

"The free mana cost buff provided by the Mage's Netherwind armor set is now called "Netherwind Focus" and will be noted in your combat log."

From what ive seen on Thottbot .. there is no "free mana cost buff" on the netherwind set, is Thottbot wrong =(

if so the uberness of this set will SEVERLY decrease ,anyway if anyone knows any info bout what this set ACTUALLY DOES please post it.

pyroblast hasnt had a cooldown since like june. This buff has procced for my friend 7 times in a row and because of it he took on 4 people at once.

You know when a good majority of mages get this like arcanist is right now they are going to nerf it. Very sad, this is the most amazing set bonus in the game. LOL look at the nemisis 8/8. FEEL lucky guys.

Think about it, sheep a dude, send a fire ball, get the 10% chance, send a fireball insant after and then use PoM and get a instant Pyroblast and then a fire blast! pwned! Atleast over 2000, with some crits over 3000 dmg :O

...or get several instant fireballs after eachother, the 10% chance 3 times, sweet

Does anyone know the spec that uses Arcane Missles/Pyroblast for pvp using this set?

Also, this set increases damage output by about 10% which makes it handy if you can get hit gear from other pieces.
