A nice trick is to enchant this onto low-level cloth gloves, like Light Cloth Gloves or Thin Cloth Gloves that don't soulbind. You can then pass it around to friends and alts. Or, for level 22+, and classes that can use leather, you can enchant this onto Herbalist's Gloves; the two +5 bonuses will stack for +10. But Herbalist's Gloves are bind-on-equip, so you lose the "sharing" option. (And both bonuses further stack with the Tauren +15 Cultivation racial if you have that.)

Either way, even small +skill bonuses make a big difference leveling up herbalism. Everytime you're almost high enough to reach some new herb, and would have to miss being able to loot one of them, and miss the skillup for it too, you can just slip on the gloves and get your skillup. ;)

Yes, you can create the gloves and stack the enchant on them.

Considering the gloves are an Alliance pattern, (even taking the neutral AHs into consideration), I would imagine, in the long run, making the gloves + the enchant would sell better than the patterns would, if you could reliably farm it!

Even at 300 I have to try two or three times to pick things like Icecap and Black Lotus. For somebody who likes quick farming, this could cut half an hour off their day.

I picked up herbalism just recently at lv60 and grinding up to 300 in no time; while it's not difficult per se (going through all the lower-level zones at lv60? what a bore), I made myself a pair of those level 22 leather gloves that give +5 herbalism (https://www.wowhead.com/wotlk/item=11265/峭壁木槌) and slapped this +5 enchant on them. +10 herbalism via a pair of gloves is great for levelling the profession a bit faster, but in my opinion it really has just this single purpose.

what this does for you guys is increase the amount you can pick from one herb. You will notice that sometimes you can get 2 or maybe even 3 from a single pick.
So not only will this make picking easier... it will increase your chance to get more!

Even at 300 skill, you can fail at picking two or three times on things like icecap and black lotus, which can then allow other people to "steal" your herb, or move faster than you through the zone.

And now with TBC and the increase to 375, this enchant is far from useless. So I would highly recommend stacking the enchant on the gloves for any herbalist.

Sucks that it's Alliance only, but hey. Neutral AH.

This means you have a 50-50 chance of one dropping in 69 kills. A level 60 should have no trouble killing one a minute so half the time one spends an hour killing, the plans will drop.

This is just my opinion but in the time you find someone to enchant this for you, AND find the mats to do it, you could have easily gained 5 skill points picking stuff yourself. Useless IMO

What is the point of having +300 in herbalism? Are there any flowers to pick up then u r over 300 ? Or is it only used for grinding?
