I soloed this on a 79 holy paladin. It was very difficult and the solo kill yielded over 8k XP.

I had to burn every cooldown I had (Divine Shield twice, Lay on Hands, Runic Mana Potion) in addition to keeping Judgement of Wisdom up and having the effect of the Airy Pale Ale sold in the zone on me. Basically just whittled her down, stunned when I could, and took a long time doing so. At least a 10 minute+ solo for me.

Wearing mostly 70 badge/ZA gear.

Seems like soloable as a Beastmaster with a tank pet.. but as I had only a dps pet with me, didn't bother trying.

So I ended up duoing it with a rogue, easy piece with the stuns.

Very hard to solo. She does alot, and i mean alot of CC. She is a caster. Her melee even hits just a bit hard. she has 126k hp and 20k mana. only able to get her down to 24% as a lvl 80 bm hunter. She fly's/circles around the tip of that mountain.

i did this as a feral druid with a ret pally... it was easy sauce. i just tanked it and the ret pally did dps and threw up some heals on me if i needed them. both of us were 78.

Did this as a 79 frostfire mage and 78 affliction lock. Lock had his VW up and was kiting while I was dpsing her. Not easy, we wiped once and popped most cooldowns, but doable with 2 people.

Soloe'd as a 79 prot war with a mix of bc gear (mostly quel'danas insignia rewards) and Wotlk blues. Tried at 78 but couldn't make it. Came back when i was 79.

When you pull her, make sure you have enough rage for a spell reflect. Basically, just pop it 1 or 2 secs after you pull her as she will cast her ice prison as soon as she's near you. Watch out, her cast is instant, so don't wait for the cast bar as i did the first time!

Once the 1st reflect works, pop it again after your cd has been up for 2-3 secs. Then just repeat this.

If everything works out, you should have a rotation where you can use it everytime before she uses her ice prison. Then play with all cooldowns you have: i used Enraged Regen, Medaillon of heroism, Heal pot, Shield wall and last stand + a few dps cooldowns (Engineering haste on gloves). I had to last stand for her last 5k and ended the fight with 63hp. You can also use the 4 sec of her stun when you reflect it to bandage.

If you miss one spell reflect, you'll probably die. Sometimes, she also doesn't cast her prison for a long time (don't know why and can't find a pattern), so you'll probably cast your reflect for nothing. When this happens, Just try to stun (conc blow and shockwave + revenge stuns) her as much as you can until your SR cd is up again, and pop it again.

Solo'ed as level 80 Frost Mage.

For easy mode, spellsteal the Metanoia buff ( https://www.wowhead.com/wotlk/spell=57524 ) from the Valkyrion Aspirant (https://www.wowhead.com/wotlk/npc=29569) down below. It last 2 minutes, so you have a decent amount of time to steal it, drink/eat up, and then fly up and engage.

Ice Barrier/Mana Shield up, and then pop Ice Elemental + Mirror Image + Icy Veins/Trinketx2 w/ Coldsnap and spam frostbolt for the win.

My frostbolts were critting for 9k in mostly crafted/heroic gear with that buff up.

Soloed as a 77 Demon Lock. I died the first time not knowing that she would randomly freeze me, but the second time I stood at max range and just kept Health Funneling to my Felguard and draining her life.

It took some time due to me not being able to do anything but HF and DL, but she died like all the others.

Also, I had Improved Health Funnel and I used my Demon Armor for the increased healing effects from drain life. I used Fel Empowerment every time it was up and tossed a Death Coil at her once. Also used the herbalist skill for a quick heal.

Sirana Iceshriek downed when totems expiried. Kill her as restoration shaman by using alot of heals and tried to keep flame shock up all the time, in the end I had some spare mana to use on Lava burst. Keep in mind that Chain lightning cost alot and therefore use up your mana. Keep water shield up and Mp5 is usefull here. I kept Flametongue weapon, not earthliving. Patience is a key to soloing this monster.

And after I killed her, she respawned and killed me as I wrote this :-(

Solo'd as a lvl 78 blood DK. I put on all the tank gear I had, used frost presence as well as a food buff (+30 stam, +40 haste). Death gripped the mob down, and instantly summoned my ghoul while putting up Horn of Winter followed by placing hysteria on the ghoul, and mark of blood on the mob. Then, all that I used was death coil, plague strike, icy touch, death strike with the occasional rune tap (improved) and vampiric blood (for extra heals on rune tap or pot, or hp trinket). Took about 2-3 times, but its manageable.

78 Enhancement vs Sirana Iceshriek.
s3/s4 gear.

Strike 1
Strike 2 - Suffered 2-3 seconds of lagg, felt like 20-30 seconds, at the very end of second attempt, and ate an Ice Shriek for around 3k and that was the end of that.
Strike...4 actually.
Strike 3 was a short-lived failure.

Panned the cooldowns out, starting with elemental pet totem (earth at attempt 2 and fire at attempt 4). I'd say earth was more useful. Shortly after, shamanistic rage. Just barely survived through that. Popped feral spirits when I needed the stun to heal up. They pretty much held their own for 45 seconds, no problems there. Followed by heroism to close the deal.

Soloed as 80 human warlock. spec 0/54/17. a couple of badge gears and a couple of heroic drops gear everything else blue.

Void tanked, put up immolate, corruption and curse of doom. took a hs and a health pot to heal myself, all the other time just heal the void and enrage him when its up. Nuked her when she got to about 10%. took abt 3 mins but rather easy. This would be extremely easy if afflic/demo spec.

Soloed easily as 80 Enhancement Shaman. Fire Ele, Feral Spirits, then Shamanistic Rage about halfway through. Popped maybe two instant Healing Waves, rest was just dps.

Just keep Grounding Totem down at all time. Dmg and heal.. then its a simple fight.

Fairly easily soloed as an 80 feral druid just now. Threw on tanking gear and went bear for it.

Tips for Druids:
Barkskin 2-3 seconds after pulling to mitigate some of the damage, and every cooldown after.
She can be stunned, so Bash -> Regrowth -> Nourish or Rejuvenation every cooldown will do a decent job of keeping you alive. Can't say about Maim, but I'm pretty sure it works as well if you need to go kitty for a couple seconds for it.
Don't be afraid to use a health pot and Frenzied Regen. She melees for around 850 on 27k armor, and her shriek was doing around 3.3k.

Ended with 10k out of 30k hp. Took around two and a half minutes, two bashes, and a pot+regen when I got caught in caster form by a shriek.

Soloed as a 78 blood DK, wasn't easy, rotated anti-magic shell, icebound fort, rune tap, vampiric blood, and death strike a lot. Also popped my ghoul out and used Death Pact...and while typing this also got attacked by her again and died...wooo!

Soloed as a 80 resto druid.

Roll lifebloom on yourself, and keep rejuvenation up on all times. Moonfire her and refresh HoTs/DoTs as they run out (excluding lifebloom which you roll.) Regrowth yourself as necessary.

I've got 1525 spell power/342 mp5 while casting, glyphed for rejuvenation/lifebloom. Anyway, I got her down to about 10%, and I still had about 15% mana left (and it was staying steady thanks to imp. rejuvenation) when a warlock came along and helped me finish her off. Total combat time was 6:31 minutes. Took a long while, but only way I could figure out how to do it as resto.

This is soloable for any DK at level 80. Summon your ghoul for some dps, pull with death grip and place your diseases on her. Once your diseases are up, use army of the dead and dps her down using all your CDs to make it go faster. You do not need to use any other CDs but you can if you want.

Solo'd with lvl 80 Prot Warrior with 547 defense.

Extremely Hard to solo with Prot Warrior. Basic Rotation:

Revenge, Shield Slam, Devastate are your attacks.

After getting frozen - she'll repeat the spell every 10-15 seconds, time your Spell Reflection and you can use the time she is frozen to heal with bandages for a little.

Use Enraged Regeneration as early as you can to keep your health up as much as you can.

Shield Wall is useful too.

Near the end you'll need to use Last Stand and Commanding Shout.

Used One Runic Healing Pot near the end as well as a healing from the Trinket 'Medallion of Heroism'

Unlike other some other Prot Warriors I didn't have an issue at lvl 80.

The trick is your Spell Reflect. It will work on the freezing spell she does and will freeze her as well as damage.

I can't say what the timing is but after one death I got it down pretty well and got all but one. I waited about 15-20 seconds after the frost spell to pop it.

If you can spell reflect at the right time its easy street. Ended with 50% health after cooldowns.

Trick for a prot warrior, or any is spell reflecting.

Easy as a 80 Holy Paladin. Her Ice block last 2 -3 seconds tops. A quick flash of light or holy light once your out, then dps. I kept my self topped off as much as I could.

Fight lasted about 3-5mins though.

Enhancement Shaman: Try One

Threw my normal totems, popped Earth Elemental, popped Feral Spirit.
DPS'd for 45 seconds while my wolves DPS'd and healed me. Then went on to heal my Earth Elemental.
Went out of mana and we all died.

Enhancement Shaman: Try Two

While flying back, I thought.. "Try two". How ironic it was for me to be flying up this hill to that witch with a Human Warrior!
So, I rez'd in her nest, he rez'd on the cliff. We teamed up.

I threw down my sleek little totems, popped Feral Spirit, DPS'd until I started tanking her, and then started healing. Haha.

I managed to solo her as a lvl79 protadin in blues on my second attemp.

Her melee hits me for ~1k. I used Frost Resistance Aura to mitigate some Ice Shriek damage (I was able to resist 30-50% of incoming damage).

SoW + JoW and Divine Plea, because the required burst damage to kill her was burning my mana too fast, and I really need to heal myself via Holy Light. Use of timed LoH helps.

Tough fight.

Did this with an epic ~T7 level 80 protection warrior.

Her frost blasts were erratic. I reflected 1, but got frozen 4 times.
The fight took 90 seconds, overall she did less than 10k damage. Enraged regeneration got me back to full.

I am going to call BS on survival hunters who said they have soloed this mob. I have full T7 gear (and full epics for all other slots) and cannot get her past 60%. She kills my pet and freezes me when I'm not even holding aggro. I hate these kinds of quests. I don't feel like having to deal with finding other players to complete a non instance based quest.

Giving up on this one. It's just not worth the utterly ridiculous amount of damage my gear takes and the insane cost to repair it.

was an easy solo as demonology lock, keep dots up and health funnel. didnt suceed till i had voidwalker up i found he stayed alive longer with less health funnel, and stayed at casting distance popped demoinic empowrmnt each cd and popped metamorphasis when i started for the extra 20% spell power...i was lvl 80 when i di this, took about 4 mins

the only time i had to heal myself was right after she cc'd me and she only did it once.

also solo'd as an elemental shaman with some quest blues and epics from heroics. The trick is to keep yourself at near-full health at all times. When she freezes you, shell do quite a bit of damage and you cant selfheal during that time. So make sure your health is ok before she applies her CC.

Soloed as a 79 Prot Pally in mostly levelling blues and greens. Sealed and Judged Light, with Div Plea up (glyphed also). Hit for about 1k on me (~17k armour).

Fight lasted approx 60-90 seconds, so make use of HoJ early if you need to heal. I found with BoSanc and Div Plea, mana wasn't an issue. Used a health pot when low for a top up, and used LoH once bubble and HoJ were on cd.

Not an easy fight, good luck :)

Soloed as an 80 protection pally, blue/epic geared. I used every trick in the book, including bubble/bandage and stun/bandage to keep my health up (the Divine Plea I was using shut down my healing spells), as well as Seal/Judgment of Light. It was still a close call, because she hits hard, but it is doable if you've got enough stamina and tricks up your sleeve to keep your health from going down.

If you're going to try and solo it, make sure you have everything set on physical damage reduction and hp renewal, because that's going to be by far your biggest concern in this fight. As long as you have enough of those plus some good defensive cooldowns (the dwarf racial Stoneform helped), you should be able to do this with some patience. Even if you sacrifice some dps to stay alive, slow and steady wins the race.

Very soloable at lvl 80 with a dk. Lvl80 dk, blood spec'd 566 def tank gear. keep diseases up. Raised ghoul halfway and raised army right after. Health never went down past 9/10. Fight lasted less than 1 min.

Soloed as a 79 ehance shammy without my lvl 79 spells haha.

Put down a healing totem, windfury, and strength of earth totem. When she came around I hit her with a lightning bolt to pull her then instantly sent dogs in. I popped Gift of the naaru at that point to cover for the ice blocking but she ended up blocking one of the dogs. My advice is to wait until she ice blocks the dog before going in that way you can save your naaru if you haven't managed to kill her by the time dogs are down. Also popped a fire elemental and heroism. Once the dogs were down I popped rage. Had to use a health pot and several instant healing waves but got her down relatively easy.

As a survival hunter at 80 I kept my mend pet up the entire time and she killed in about 30 seconds, a tenacity crab with 15k health. So I dunno if they have changed something lately but I couldn't solo this.

Im a well geared rogue (naxx 10 and 25 gear mostly) and she takes me from18k health to 2k health in less than 10 seconds. even when i use evasion.

As everyone said, very easy to solo as warlock, especially Demono/destro.

Tacticis simple, send Felguard, put curse of weaknes (The best curse for her, with it she hits like 800-900 from mele) For first 20-30% use only immolate, and Corruption, Heal felguard, and when he build enough threat start nuking with Shadowbolt, 5k crits healed my pet very well. at 99% threat pop soulshatter and continue dpsing, make sure that You are human, or wearing trinket pvp- good way to break freeze. At oom swith too health funel and lifetap, i oom'ed at 10% and killed her with first try, and only 1 long cooldown.

Just soloed her as a lvl 80 Resto Shammy in 10 man Nax gear ... basically all it did was call on my earth elemenal to take aggro, and healed when needed, while I cast flame shock, lava burst and lightning bolt. I was also had earth shield going at all times.

By the time the earth elemental disappeared, I could use the Fire Elemental Totem. I let the elemental again take aggro, then I finished her off. Seemed easy enough.

Soloed as a lightwell + guardian spirit holy priest. Basically I put lightwell down a minute before I fought her (so I could use it twice) then always kept devouring plague & shadow word pain on her with renew on myself. Every time she would iceblock me I would use lightwell (as you can use it even if you are CCed). Also used holy fire and smite spam when I could. When I got low on health once I used guardian spirit to bring me back up. With manafiend I had no mana troubles. If I messed up I just levitated off the side of the mountain to restart. After figuring out the strategy the fight wasn't all that difficult. Best of luck!

Just solo'd this as a lvl 78 lock (3/53/15 build). no food buffs or anything, just stopped twice to bandage. Kept dots up as best as possible, and health funneled my felguard. took a couple minutes, but slow and steady does the trick. She does hit HARD though, be warned.

I have to confirm that this is definitely soloable as an elemental shaman, even with really crummy gear. My long-neglected, still technically freshly 80 elemental shaman weighs in at about 13k HP and mana with a little more than 1k spellpower. Even with these abysmal stats, the fight is still doable. There are some things to keep in mind:

1) Always, always, always, always, ALWAYS (I can't stress this enough) keep your grounding totem up. It was about a two minute fight and she only cast her iceblock attack three times. However, any mistake or delay in setting that totem down will kill you.
2) Use lesser healing wave. Spam it like crazy. Unless you're well geared and have a sizable stamina pool, you really need to follow the advice of other posters above: Keep yourself topped off at all times. If you fall below 50% of your health bad things will likely ensue.
3) Keep water shield up. You'll need the mana unless you're well geared. Chances are, if you're doing this fight at all, you're doing it for either the gold or the loremastery and you're probably wearing mostly blues/greens.
4) Keep a mana potion handy just in case. I popped one when I was about halfway through my mana pool. In retrospect, I don't think I needed it. It is a great insurance policy, however.
5) Keep flame shock up and lava burst her whenever it's off cool down. If you have time between casts, throw in a lightning bolt or two but be mindful of point #2. Sacrifice healing for DPS.
6) Refer to point #1.
7) Have some ankhs handy just in case things don't go too well. :)

Again, you don't have to be well geared to do this. You just need patience and above all pay attention. Classes without tanking or healing capabilities may find this somewhat difficult to solo. If in doubt, use the buddy system!

I came here to see what the comments suggest insofar as soloing her in addition to confirming that you needn't be Naxx-geared to accomplish the task! I would like to thank those posters above for many of the suggestions I integrated into my own post in addition to many of the positive remarks related to how easy this was. I'm not sure I'd qualify it as easy, but it was certainly doable!

What I'm really curious about is.. is it possible to solo for a rogue 2 80? we have a CoS and a quite a few stuns. But no rogue has commented here. Think I'm gonna try :-)

Soloed as a poorly geared 80 PvE mutilate rogue. If you don't have decent gear as a rogue, you will NOT be able to solo this unless you're a human or you resist/precloak every single Ice Shriek she casts. Trinketed the first freeze, precloaked the second, kited her away when I expected her to do her third and resisted the freeze portion (still took damage). For best results, get HfB up from a mob in Valkyrion, then fly up really quick so you'll start with HfB already up - if you have an epic flyer, you should have ~40 seconds of HfB left which is more than enough to kill her. Bring a health pot.

Just solo'd this as a 77 elemental shammy.

took 2 tries bc i botched the first attempt bad.

Used wrath/stoneskin/mana totems and put the grounding totem on my hotbar. Pulled with a flame shock, ran back to the middle and dropped my totems. Thalaria's advice was spot on, ALWAYS keep grounding totem up, and sacrifice dps for healing. All i did was flame shock, lesser heal, lesser heal, lesser, lava burst, lesser heal lesser heal.....etc etc.

Used one HP pot at the last 5k hp bc i missed a self heal.

Doable, but you need to be patient and focused on mashing the right 3 buttons.

Soloed as a unholy DK in reasonable gear (3.7k gearscore). Popped army of the dead and other than that did a standard single target rotation...something to pick your health up a bit is probably a good idea (a healing pot should cover it)

Just took this down tonight as a 80 Demo specced lock. Definitely wasn't easy. Sirana hits the FG for a good chunk of damage, but it's her Iceshriek spell that you have to be most concerned about. A lot of times she'll target you with the spell, and it'll freeze you for a few seconds. Definitely keep the healthstone available and have a potion on hand too. I popped Meta once she was down to about 30%, but that may have been too soon, as I grabbed aggro with Immolation. Just wanted to show that it WAS possible to solo.

Solo-ed it 15 minutes ago as a Demolock with FG. Used a pot and healthstone for myself and most of the time i just dot and heal my FG, and finished it with soul fire. It wasnt too bad afterall, worth trying even solo!

Borderline impossible for most classes to solo. I have 20k hp and 3.4k AP in bear form, spaced out CDs, have eng CDs, and best attempt she still had 3k HP left. Just skip unless you need it for loremaster.
